A Name of Power Arching a brow, she sat very straight with Ali's reaction, uncertain of what he was about to do. Blue eyes wandered to the pair by the bar again, this time full of worry. But soon he relaxed again, and moved on like nothing happened.
Arching a brow at his question, she tilted her head and went very still. The question was odd indeed. Pondering how her behavior could be interpreted as paranoid, she eventually frowned, not understanding. "I am careful." she stated simply, tilting her head the other direction now. "Assuming that is a weapon," she explained, pausing for a moment to gesture first to the shotgun with a tilt of her head, then again looked at the ladies at the bar before returning her steady gaze to Ali, "I would say your reaction to their presence is a stronger indication of paranoia than the caution I practice in meeting new people. Where I come from, most do not care for me, as I am an anomaly." A slight laugh and shrug was given. Seems she had a point as he mulled her words over. Maybe he was the more paranoid of the two since he had reached for the weapon while she had simply tensed up a little. Yeah, maybe I picked that up in NAM aswell., Was something he did on instinct. Reach for the weapon when the fight or flight response was triggered, Fight was his response while others chose flight. Probably the most unwise choice in many's eyes.
He was halfways through his fourth drink when it was triggered again, this time it didn't pass like it had with Solie's stumble. Had him reach for the shotgun and abruptly stand up with his body turned towards the spectacle, then had his finger do a small flinch as a body was thrown out of the hole. He'd remain in that stance until the hole closed, only then lowering the weapon as Kumo rushed to the figure. Wasn't until he took in all the signs that he could identify the figure as Angel, grinding his teeth as his lips formed a frown. Looked like one of the cartels had gotten ahold of her, only difference was she still had arms and legs intact. Seems he had underestimated just who these Crow and Yawgmoth characters were, figured they were your typical b***h sister and egotistical douche. Semmed more like they were like the Richardson daughter and Jeremy Steinke, jumped rammed up to 15. At best he figured they'd slap Angel around or break an arm, not disembowel her and damn near flay her entire skin off. But she was alive, so the job was still a go. He'd need to rethink his tactics though, he was used to chubby husbands and occasional politicans being his target. Not all this magic and s**t. Still..this was getting fun and frankly the whole neat and clean part would be removed from the equation, was starting to become the job that rivaled all his previous ones. And he ******** did this pro-bono. That was even more hilarious.
So he approached her, stopping besides Kumo and looking down at the mess of a woman with a grin on his face. You better not die, cause I'm itching to kill em and to do so I need you to tell me everything. Their strengths, who they care about besides themselves, How to get to them. And afterwards stay out of the way, cause had you stayed away then our positions right now would've been reversed. But their sights are no doubt on me now, so heal up fast so I can know what I need to know to deal with them when they start to come knockin. , He'd throw Kumo a glance before turning and heading back to his table. The shotgun slung up to rest on his shoulder as he reached down and finished his fourth glass, setting it down on the table as he looked over at Ziven. Was nice talking to you, shame I wasn't able to try to charm you enough for me to see if the carpet matched the drapes. And you might wanna help out over there, helping others tends to let you get accepted by others much easier.

A single scream escaped her before she saw the two men who jumped to action. All Solis heard was the laughter that came out of the dark. Her hands nervously clung to her tail as she shook with fear. Someone was to her right and he didn't seem to be afraid. His words buzzed in her ears but for no other reason then she was terrified of what was laying on the floor before her, Solis grabbed on to the armed man's hand, clinging to him as he walked to his table where the girl she had waved to earlier was sitting.

Ali eventually glanced down at Solis and went wide eyed. Seems the whole setting with Solis clinging to him kickstared a flashback, seeing a small vietnamese girl clinging to his hand as comfort from what was sheer terror instead of Solis. Bring him back to what gave him a dishonorable discharge, to what might the only time he had layed out his life to protect someone else..against those he had served with for two tours. No idea why he did it, maybe he got tired of them all walking into a village and gun down people in a drug filled haze, then rape whatever women survived regardless of age. All for good ol'Uncle Sam. Atleast there had been one Ali had kept away from the others. The flashback ended as briefly as it had come, bringing him to drawing a deep breath to calm down and then smile down at Solis. That spooked you didn't it? Don't worry, It's not dangerous. It's just someone who's badly hurt., He set the shotgun back down on the table before lowering his hands so to hoist Solis up and setting her down gently on the table. Making sure she had her back to the others so she didn't need to see them take care of Angel. I'm Ali and this woman with blue hair is Ziven, I'm guessing your name is...Solis isn't it?

Looking over as the clump of what was left of Angel was deposited on the floor, Daisy's heart dropped out of her chest. She was just starting to receive her gift of powers. What could she do to help her sister? Oh, my, GAWD! What has happened to her? Noticing that someone was talking to her, she turned in the general direction, Leave her alone. She needs space to heal herself. Step back while she heals please.

The small neko mewed softly as he lifted her up on the table. Her tail still remained in her hands but her ears popped up a bit. She looked at his smile and returned one to him. Her focus shifted to Ziven and she waved. "Yes Mister Ali, my name is Solis, Solis Rose but my friends call me Solie." She blushed as her ears flickered. "What will you and Miss Ziven call Solie?" The soft waves of her lavender hair fell in her eyes, she quickly blew it away then giggles nervously. She seemed to be calmer now that the man explained to her what she had seen and that he had taken her away. She remained as close as she could get to this man called Ali because she felt safe in his presence.

Taking on step inside, she saw a sight she never wanted to see. Angel had been hurt, severely. Star didn't know if her sister would be ok, but she had to trust that she would. After all, she had healed Daisy a few months back from a manticore attack that could have taken her life.
A single tear rolled down her cheek and hit the floor with a thud. It was the only response to what she saw that she could give at the moment.

~Walking in behind his lady he was taken aback, The carnage on the floor, his fiance yelling. Someone was hurt and the scent of their blood was overpowering. Looking around the bar, which was fuller then he had ever seen it, Vincent saw the wounded person was in the arms of that tiger dude. On the other side of the room a trio was gathered, one being the little catgirl that he had given shelter too previously, another a young lady and third, the kid he had stormed the dungeon with. Daisy was a few yards back from everyone else and she looked angry as well. He looked from one person to another, fighting the hunger building inside him.~

Tilting her head yet again with his reaction, she felt no less confused than she had before. "My apologies, what is NAM?" she asks, genuinely curious.
This entire conversation was derailed with the spectacular entrance and the terrifying realization that the gruesome appearance was that of a live person. Ziven shuddered, both from the feeling of the magics used, as well as never having seen such violence inflicted on a person. Standing when Ali did, she didn't move closer, feeling only confusion and fear for the situation at hand.
Watching in horror as she listened to what Ali had to say to the half dead Angel, she couldn't stop herself from crying from sympathy. She could hardly imagine the pain this woman might be in and to then be spoken to dispassionately. Without being able to find her voice, the conversation and actions moved on, and she numbly nodded from time to time; acknowledging Ali's comment that she should help, and his introduction for himself, Solie, and Ziven.
Hearing Soli's question, Ziven slowly regained a small amount of composure. While she was not well practiced to handle any crisis, now that more people who seemed to know how to help Angel had arrived, she felt a little more at ease. With a shaky voice, she answered Solie honestly, though perhaps not appropriately. "To befriend another requires agreement of all involved."

Kumouri Gave a roar to silence those yelling and to get everyone focused. "Vampires, out now, we don't need you and your thirst around with all this blood." He then looks to Star and daisy and says "There is too much dark taint in her to heal quickly, if she can do that, and she's at death's door step. Now someone clear a table now and help me help her onto a table so I can patch her up and save her life. Or are you all that content on letting her die like this. He says all this in an urgent, commanding tone.

Angel laid lifeless across the arms of this feline male. Viscera hung from her midsection like spaghetti, dripping thick dark clots on the floor. Her healing power needed to work, and it would slowly, but the damage was far too severe to do it alone. She needed to be stuffed back in to put it lightly, then left alone to heal.

Walking over to this creature that was holding her sister, and explained, I don't know who or what you are, but what I do know is my sister. What she needs is to be allowed to let her own healing powers to take over. As she said it she started placing Angel's insides back where they belonged.

Now that Star was back, Daisy could relax a touch. There were two of the sisters in the bar and they could bind their powers that Star didn't even know existed yet and help Angel even more.
Having watched Star manually putting the insides back, for some reason, she wasn't ready to show this creature that she had powers, but Daisy was. A moment later, Angel was floating out of the arms trying to carry her. Daisy floated her over to a clear spot of the room where she cast one last spell.
An open casket like structure, however there was not a top so it could not be closed, appeared below her. It was made of glass and lined with soft grass. As Angel settled onto the grass, flowers of all types started to grow around her. Not to encompass her only to enhance the beauty that would return to her soon. These flowers had powers of their own. They would not allow anyone with the intent to move Angel to approach without winding themselves around the threat and holding them until they had decided not to follow through with their action.
Finally walking up to the one who had been holding her and said, I am sorry to disappoint you, but Star is right. She needs to do this healing on her own. You see, Angel has special abilities and once one has been hurt this bad, she has to do the healing on her own. I know it hurts to not be able to do anything to help her, but in due time she will heal and will come back better than any of us could do. All we can do is wait and watch at this point.
