Yeah, the servers go down after midnight pretty often it seems.

From what I've been reading, their bandwidth is really only enough to keep things stable at less than 300 simultaneous players, and they get up toward 400 at peak hours, so they've been running into problems pretty consistently. Since they're running the game out of their college dorm, simply upping their bandwidth isn't enough. They think they'll have solicited enough donations to rent an offsite server by the end of October, though. That said, I'm still playing, because this game is fun as hell once you get past the DF-esque learning curve.

So, to the participants of LeviCon West 2010:
I talked to my landlady today and she actually wanted to apologize to me and all of you for how she acted on Friday night.
Apparently there's a group of jerkwads who are being evicted for basically being loud as hell all the time and apparently illegally moving in like 4 people. She thought the lot of us was them, and that's why she was so upset, and was worried she embarrassed me in front of all of you.
So yeah.
You losers couldn't get me evicted if you tried.
