If you play pokemon read this.I found it on the Escapist in one of there forums. The guy who posted it on The Escapist found it on a Live Journal. It's saying Gary Oak was the Good guy. Quote: In the original Pokémon Red/Blue, when you encounter your rival in Lavender Town he asks whether or not you know what it's like to have one of your Pokémon die. At this point in the game, he no longer has his Raticate that he used in previous battles.Your rival battle before this took place aboard the S.S. Anne. Your rival's Raticate sustained serious injuries from the battle...but, because crowding and confusion on the luxury liner, he was unable to make it to a Pokémon Center in time and the Raticate passed away. The real reason your rival is in Lavender Town to begin with is to lay his deceased friend to rest.Despite all of this, your rival never outwardly tells you that you're responsible for the death of his Pokémon. He hides his grief and instead channels that energy into the motivation he needed to continue his quest to become Indigo League Champion. The death of his Raticate effectively destroys your rival's impish, childhood innocence. Although he tells himself that he doesn't hold you responsible, he subconsciously holds a great deal of resentment towards you which further fuels his ambitions.Tearfully swearing upon his Raticate's grave to not fail in what he set out to do, he trains hard in hopes of becoming better than you...defeating you...and to eventually make it to the Pokémon League. Mere moments after he became Indigo League champion, he was defeated...by you. Although he fulfilled his promise to his fallen Pokémon, it was only for a painfully brief instant. In the end, your rival is scolded by his grandfather while you receive the professor's praise. During the course of the game, you steal your rival's innocence, crush his dreams, and ultimately snatch away the love of his own grandfather. Oh, and by the way, your rival doesn't have any parents. He's an orphan. I don't think I can ever play those pokemon games again... What are your thoughts on this?

Well.... If all of the facts are true, then that is one possible interpretation. Although, I wonder if it entered his head that Gary could have just kept the Raticate in his pc or even released it?

No this is just something someone probably wrote out of boredom I forgot to put it isn't fact.I also never got how pokemon died?I mean you heal them all the damn time but, I guess they would die of old age and if someone keeps attacking them while they were fainted.I don't really get it but, I know they have guns in Pokemon no matter if the episodes they do get banned in the United States.Maybe someone uses pokemon for target practice or if they get pokerus you have to get a shotgun and take them out old yeller style.Wait didn't team rocket kill Marowak in Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green?... Sorry I entered my own little world there for a second about Pokemon and death.

I`ve never played in NUR. What`s the character creation process there? Once I know, I can tell you what is different?
To the guy wanting to spar, I`m up for it. Only my Genin is free atm though. Is that okay?

Ummm.... Well, you can find most of the differences just by reading the classes, profile format, etc. The most major ones, though, are the classes have more restrictions on them in VR (like weapon masters can only learn so much ninjutsu and most non-weapon classes are restricted to one custom weapon) and that you can have only one of the following: demon, clan, bloodline, or curse mark.
Also, VR profiles are a lot more detailed than NUR profiles.

oh, I thought you wanted to battle in the actual Konoha, not the spar forum. In that case, what rank character are you using? I can use my chuunin if you don't want to do a genin fight.
