((Sorry Jason, we couldn't wait for you to do this and we needed to get things set up for Saturday night since we aren't going to be on later tonight.))
Zahara nodded. "Yes Broog, I understand how you feel but I just don't want it that tight around my neck anymore. See, Piper doesn't want me to wear it anymore and Malik has ordered me to take it off. You know how he loves to make Piper happy..." She let that one hang there knowing without a doubt she had Broog now. He'd do anything to keep hsi mistress happy. "But I really love your work so even though I can't have a collar anymore, can you turn it into a necklace or something like that? That way I could still wear it since it makes me happy." She brushed her hands against the hanging daggers once again listening to them sing sweetly. Offering her neck for Broog she waited for him to take it off and then heard the sound echo. The metal released her neck and she brushed her hand over her now naked neck. A sweet smile to Broog. "Thank you. Now Malik won't be upset and Piper will be happy."

It was a good moment...was being the key word. But not it was turning into not so happy a moment. Giving a groan of perhaps annoyance she sat up and then eased herself off of Malik. "I have to go throw up all that I just ate now..." As her stomach started doing flips and twists...hm, morning sickness would replace potion induced nausea wouldn't it? And she had been throwing up for quite a few mornings now hadn't she? Though this time there would be something to in fact loose. But that was all she said before leaving him there, sitting in the arena, heading for their room.
Sevilin merely stood there with his arms crossed, merely just being there for perhaps show. After all, Broog had tended to listen to him in Malik's absence and they had held a few conversations. But it seemed Zahara didn't need the help as she easily manipulated the system with Broog, earning herself a ticket from her collar, and sparing the ogre's feelings while also giving him something to do for a while. It worked. A nod at the creature. "Thank you broog." A look to Zahara and a nod of his head in the direction they had come from, before they headed back upstairs.
A pause in her trek as she came across the two. One hand to her stomach the other held to her mouth she looked to them both a moment. "Oh, just who I wanted to see...there's going to be a ball that King Jiscal is holding and I'm allowed to bring people...I was going to ask you both to go. And I'd stay for your answer, but I have to go pay homage to the porcelain god, so do excuse me." Thus continuing on upstairs to do so.

"Thank you indeed Broog. I appreciate you not letting Malik yell at me." Not that he actually would, especially being pregnant. After all Sevilin seemed to be interposing himself in between her and possible problem situations. She turned and walked towards the stairs and climbed up them sort of slowly then blinked at Piper. Poor elf. "She needs tea..." Leaving Sevilin for a moment she walked into the kitchen and ordered a cup of her special tea sent up to Piper then came back. "A party? That means fancy clothes...and I don't think I have any that will do. Do you?" Turning to look at Sevilin with an eyebrow raised.

Sevilin merely blinked. Ask them? More like probably suggest and then if they said no, Malik would order. Though as the surface elf left, Zahara disappering breifly as well, he shook his head, attention turning to the drow as she came back...and apparently was going to decided to say yes to the invitation. Well...he wasn't going to let her go alone, which meant if she was going...he would be too...and she seemed to suggest that right off the bat. "Fancy clothes? No I don't...why?"

She was mentally running inventory on her own wardrobe and trying to think of what she owned that would be fancy enough and work with her pregnant belly. Perhaps the cream one? Blinking she stared at him for a moment. "No?" Then it clicked and her eyes took on an interesting gleam. "No, huh? Well, we can't have that." Reaching out she took his hand and pulled him along. "We need to make a stop then." Thus to the tailor. He and Broog were buddies and she was a good friend of the tailor who was rather happy to see her as she came in. He was forever designing pretty things for her or her body type and insisting she should take them. She glanced at him then turned and crossed her arms looking him up and down before moving to the back of him and continuing her slow, appreciative perusal. "We're going to a party and he needs fancy clothes. I'm thinking a nice tunic like coat to cover his arms with an undershirt or something like that perhaps? Maybe longer boots too, tuck the pants inside. Quite an elegant look." She nibbled her bottom lip and then glanced at the tailor. "And no green. All he wears is green."

And there it was...he was at her mercy. Though not in the usual way, no he was at the mercy of her fashion sense...and his apparent lack of it as she was implying. Though he frowned when all of a sudden her was under assult of a tape measure...and was clearly glaring death at that little tailor...someone was going to be severly hurt in the next two minutes if they didn't stop touching him, and that's what that look said.
Though he doubted he could argue his way out of this one...if Zahara didn't have her way well he was sure someone else would make him wear something fancy...at least this way he got to have his say. Better open that mouth of ours that gets us into trouble again, eh Sevilin?
"I don't wears sleeves on my left side..." He just didn't. Ever. It was a thing with him, went back to his past somewhat, but also had other motives. Point was that's how it was. Then a little frown. "So I wear green all the time...it's my main House color..." Like his sisters whom were part of it? No, but the name and it's colors and traditions he held fast to. A wary look to all in that room as he reached a hand up to his shoulder, petting the little creature there almost as if for comfort.

Zahara lightly smacked his hand. "Stop it Sevilin, he's not hurting you and he needs your measurements to make sure the clothes will fit. He can't just look at you and assume." Reaching up she deftly scooped Nym off his shoulder and cuddled him in her arms happy to hear the little furball do his ferret purr a few minutes after scratching and cuddling ensued. "You have to wear sleeves when you're fancy." The tailor gestured to the table where fabrics had been laid out and she walked over studying those he'd layed out. The cream was pretty but wasn't Sevilin. He needed a darker color. Dark colors looked good... "That one." She pointed to a rather pretty dark blue but not too dark. It would look lovely against his dark skin. "It's perfect. See?" Lifting the fabric she draped a corner of it over his shoulder and glanced at the tailor questioningly. "This would be good for the long sleeved shirt."

He forwned again at her light little wrist smacking gesture to get his attention, meaning he looked away long enough and mumbled under his breath long enough to let the tailor get his measurements. "Who says? Women don't wear sleeves...and I've seen more than one man pull off fancy with no sleeves. I'm not having both arms covered..." Oh look, he was actually adamant and putting up a fight with her on the issue. Had a backbone on this one for certain.
Though a blink as she moved away to look at fabrics that were being already picked through. Oh what was he in for now? Soon enough though she was giving an example how a certain color would look on him. Not that he had an opinion about color...long as it was in darker shades. He just didn't wear bright or light colors. "Fancy is about details and draping of clothing...not covering everything up..."

She was as adamant as he was on this issue. "But you're not a female. And you don't like to have everything showing like I do so that argument doesn't work either. You need sleeves. It will look highly elegant, Sevilin. Trust me on this." Long sleeved coat but I don't think buttons...unless they're not showing. Yes I think that will do quite nicely. And then of course like I said long sleeves, he likes them to cover his hands what with keeping them safe for runing. Can you do that?" Turning to Sevilin she could see that he was going to be stubborn. "Sleeves Sevilin. You don't know fancy and I do. You're getting sleeves." Nym had jumped onto the table with the fabric and was being his usual exploring self. She poked his chest with her statment a few times.

He frowned. "If I cover my hands for keeping them safe for runing, then I only need one sleeve and that's on the right side, seeing as I rune with that hand. Leave it as it is." Nope, not giving into her on this issue. Hey he had to wear this stuff and he wasn't going to spend several hours uncomfortable in clothes that he didn't ever like to begin with. "Not wearing sleeves on both sides. You can't at least give me that when I'm letting you have your way over the majority of this, color and all?"

She gave him the stubborn look, the one that said she wasn't going to back down on this anymore than he was. "Sevilin..." Crossing her arms and tapping her fingers against them.
"Alright you two." He walked over and interposed himself between the two sensing that neither was going to give in. "Here's what we'll do." He took the fabric from her. "You like this color and I think it will work nicely so the blue it is." He glanced at Sevilin and studied his current outfit. "Why don't we do something like he has on now. I like this." Reaching out he brushed a hand over the tunic and nodded. "Yes, tunic style though if he doesn't want a sleeve on one side I'm not going to make him." Holding his hand up to quiet her protests he continued. "But he can wear a cape over it. A nice green cape that way he gets to keep his House colors and his shoulders will be covered. And to protect your hand, you can wear gloves or I can drape your sleeve. That I'll leave up to you. Now does that work for both of you?"
Zahara had quickly gotten upset when the tailor began to make changes and throw her ideas out, letting him win. Her eyes narrowed and then began to soften. "No gloves." she conceded. "It would be a crime to cover those fingers. And I can settle for a cape. Like you said, at least his shoulder will be covered." She kind of liked thinking of him in a cape anyway. Gave credence to that dark sensuality that he could personify with no effort. "You need a pattern or something on the tunic though. Sevilin? Runes perhaps?"

Oh look someone was being a referee between them...good because they would probably keep at this before someone started screaming at someone else, though he would put his money on her to start the shouting. But he only gave an exasperated sigh, and a step back when his tunic was brushed. Did he have to keep touching?
Crossing his arms over his chest he kept from rolling his eyes and only sighed once more. "Sounds fine to me. As long as everyone comes to agreement right?" Though the raise of an eyebrow at Zahara on her questions. "Runes will work well...don't have to be Andalian..." Because that was just dangerous...and runes of any place had a nice look to them.

"I think that would work nicely on his tunic. And I like the idea of a cape...alright then." Yup she agreed to that. Nodding to the tailor she walked over and discussed a few other details with him away from Sevilin, of course nothing he would object to. Returning to his side she tilted her head at him. "We need them as soon as possible so whatever else you're working on needs to be put aside for this. Alright?" And she patted his arm. "There, that wasn't so bad was it Sevilin? Good luck." She called over her shoulder and pulled him out of the room back to the library to plop on the couch and rest. Much nicer.
((See you tomorrow night guys.))

King Jiscal I, how odd, that not even a year ago, that title would have been nothing more than the silent dream of his mother, yet here he was. Ruler of all Deep Water.
Yet, how vast was his empire? According to the former king, Jiscal was entitled to all the lands in known existance. A pitiful policy. What would be the benefit of ruling such a vast domain in such an ungodly place? The king sighed. At least, he could find out exactly which lands were worth keeping.
Deep Water, Lostagracia (Now Honoursfield), and the Purian Peninsula. That would be his internal sphere of influence. Dragnon in the distant north would be his portal to the rest of the underdark, as Dragnon had a history of such notabliity. It was very lucky that such a nice, and understanding (therefore dangerous) person of Akbarizad was readily availible shortly after the fall of Dimitri. Dragnon had been intrerested in the local variety of Kelp, which unlike so many other speices, could be baked into something like bread (Something, Jiscal had little knowledge of).
In three years time, or four at the most, Deep Water would be a glorious place. The archetecture would be stronger, the elements less of a threat, the food supplies strong, and the militia capable of fending off a small army of drow. The wonders that were worked, simply because any opposition to Jiscal disappeared in the night.
But, as of late, Tarathiel had been interferring less and less with the politics, offering less and less good advice, if any. the drow left a rather heavy not e in Jiscal's office one day, foretelling of the doom that was Tarathiel's mother, but retracted that notice shortly there after, with news of his mother's death, and the political instability it caused the armies of Domina.
The king sighed again. He was become rather depressed with all this dark thought, so he decided to seek out someone that would bring some measure of cheer to his dreary life. He smiled softy, he was king after all, there was nothing wrong with an abuse here or there...
But Jewel would not stand for that... So he would have to choose how valuable that girls life was. One brief moment of fun, followed by an eternity of waiting for a new girl, or keeping the company as is.
Usha's door appeared before him before he had answered that question, and his hand knocked in his normal demeaner.

Boredom spawned of lack of stimulation for a young girl lead Usha to become very familiar with the palace/castle floor plans, gosip, and books in the lybrary. After her parents had left and Gerard and herself had to take care of themselves, she had become quite accustomed to hard labore. Now the calouses on her hands were gone replaced with a soft, silky skin. Her hair had grown longer, it's upkeep required hours that regretably she now had time for.
She sat in a high backed chair next to the window, trying to let mosses glowing on the outside of the rock and morter shine in and light the book she was reading. It was with almost great reliefe that the knock came to her door.
She stood and opened the door, somewhat surprised but not overly by the presnece of King Jiscal. She bowed at the waist. "My Lord."
