Brotherly/manly sort of way does not enter into the equation if it is merely a judgment of aesthetics. Thank you for the kind words regardless. I guess I just feel uglier when I am down.

yeah, see, I dont get that exxos, I think you are really attractive. When I was younger though, I was told repeatedly by "friends" that I was ugly and dumb and not funny and GAWD would I please not sing when I was in earshot of anyone.... etc..... so regardless of what nice things people say to me now, I still repeatedly put worth into those things that were said in the past. It's hard.... not believing in yourself for so long and then trying to .....

It's hard.... not believing in yourself for so long and then trying to ..... Yeah, fiends and family calling you ugly is the worst. It stays with you no matter how hard you try to shake it. I guess it comes from it being ingrained in you from a very young age - I have been called ugly in some form since I was 3 or 4.
