-Mal slipped on the medallion and hid it under his clothes. He nodded in thanks towards Ryu before walking out the front door of the bar- Sorry to keep you waiting like that. I know you've got a busy schedule of puffing out your chest and taking candy from small children. -He took a stance somewhat away from Yawg and the front of the bar, unsheathing both his blades- So you ready or not? I got some chilimac in there I'd rather not have get cold?

"Hah! We'll give you credit. Most weaklings don't have half your balls. We said not here, they tend to get a little....antsy. We will follow you to a location of your choice. We'd advise you to pick whatever place you think will give you the most advantage. We're hoping the fight lasts for more than a minute, but we seriously have our doubts." Yawgmoth replied with a small grin. Knives? He hoped they were at least magical or something impressive because if they were ordinary blades of high quality it was going to make for a really boring show when they just scraped against his skin instead of cut him. Oh well. "So as we said before, lead on." he motioned with his hand. Mal wouldn't have to worry about the titan stabbing him in the back or attacking before they got there, he wasn't that kind of fighter.

Hey I said here. I'm not leaving the food. If you're too nervous that someone's going to try to help me than I guess you should just leave. But you strike me as the type too self-absorbed to let others think that you're a coward. Even though that's an acurate description for what you are. -He knew that he'd have to get Yawg angry, make it so he wasn't concentrating. Without magic blades Mal would have a hard time getting through Yawgmoth's skin, no matter how easy it was to slice through armor-

"If this is where you want to die." Yawgmoth replied calmly taking a few more steps back. His arms lowered to his sides, his tail uncoiled from around his waist cutting through the air with each swish. "Let's get started then." he added with a cocky grin. The shadow at his feet twisted and formed a large circle around him, about five to eight feet across. From the edges sprouted tendrils, eight in total pointing in all directions. They writhed and flexed, the one closest to Mal moved the tip of itself like a finger calling someone over, taunting already. Despite his earlier swing this was more typical of how the titan engaged people, like a tank from a defensive standpoint rather than swinging his fists like half drunk brawler. He would let Mal attempt the first move, for now. If things took too long his impatience would likely get the better of him.

-Mal smirked as he saw the shadows form around Yawgmoth- What, too scared to engage me in a fair fight? Need magic to take me? And here I thought I was an insect compared to you. Guess you're too scared not to hide behind your hocus pocus -In lightning speed Mal pulled out and threw two of his throwing daggers at Yawg before slashing at the nearby tendril, determined to at least temporarily cut it off from the source of its power-

Yawgmoth sighed. The two throwing daggers bounced off of him like they'd been thrown against bricks. His skin was legendarily thick and tough, normal throwing knives weren't going to accomplish much.
When he saw him going for the tendril with a slash the titan couldn't help but smile. For such a big talker he didn't research his opponents very well but then how could he have the time? Yawgmoth's darkness was corrosive like an acid, it broke down the atomic bonds that held things together, unless his blade was extremely well crafted or enchanted it was going to start melting against the blackened flesh of the tendril. This was a good learning experience for the poor fool he thought, if he witnessed what his darkness did then he'd know to avoid it when he started attacking. It would be over too quick if Mal didn't know not to let it touch him and it got hold of an arm or his midsection and just melted through his flesh and bone.
Otherwise the titan didn't move or reply, now was the time for fighting not talking, he didn't speak much when engaged in combat despite speaking perhaps too much everywhere else.

Please acknowledge this post. i set it up with a friend, i spoke he typed. I just was slow getting it here from email where he sent it.
The heels of Angel’s boots made not a sound on the lush grass as she jumped down from the branch in the tree where she had been watching them. Her torso swung hard to the right throwing her against Yawg’s chest as she hissed holding inside the moan as the daggers sank into her flesh, her crimson hair blew around them as the wind picked up. Looking into the eyes that would take any other to the point of madness, taking a deep breath she spoke softly to him, “Oh great, powerful, Lord Yawgmoth” She licked her lips as she touched his face, “We have been at this for many, many years” She slumped against him, resting her head on his shoulder, “Zero’s gone and he took everything from me, so I know the loss that you feel. I don’t know where Crow is, but if you will call a truce my sisters and I will help find her” she winced as the daggers moved deep in her shoulder, closing her eyes she waited for his answer.

Yawgmoth budged slightly as the woman he was looking for slammed into him. Angel's size wasn't what moved him, she was strong sure, but it was his shock that lowered his guard. Almost instantly the shadows beneath his feet vanished and returned to normal leaving Mal's blade to slice air after all. His crimson eyes narrowed slightly when she touched him. "Even now, with blades in your body and us being able to snuff you out where you stand you try to speak." he acknowledged.
"And you speak the only series of words that stops us from tearing your head from your shoulders." he answered reaching up with his hand to grab her wrist on the hand that was touching his face. His tail reached up and pulled the daggers out quickly. She was tough, he knew she'd be fine. A few metal knives weren't about to stop the woman with the resolve to keep fighting against him. He tugged on her wrist to pull her hand away now that she was free of the blades. "Finding Crow is the only thing we want anymore, so you will have your truce. But know this our little red headed beauty, when we find her, as soon as we find her, the truce is over. We would advise that you and your followers flee when we find her for this reason."

-Mal looked at the two of them wearily before sheathing his blades, he knew that this was the one time he needed to keep his mouth shut but he really hoped that Angel knew what she was doing-

Ryu had been watching from a window to the brief fight going on. He'd seen one of Yawgmoth's tendrils hit something and it corroded away. It let Ryu know that his lightning barrier was definitely necessary should he and yawgmoth get involved in a serious fight. But it didn't scare him in the least. For Ryu, the more impossible looking the conquest, the sweeter the victory. He was surprised to see Angel suddenly appear and offer up the truce, especially after they'd been trying to hide her. He was mildly impressed with how well she took the dagger in her back, considering where they hit. Most any other mortal would have died from such wounds. He began to think he might want to extend his stay here.

Knowing all of the horror that Yawgmoth could cause, Star was very worried for her sister, but knowing that Mal was out there was oddly comforting. Star hovered over Ryu's head without even thinking twice. While she didn't like to show others she too had magic, she sometimes slipped up in the moment of stress. Her heavy breathing could be heard from across the room as she wished: "Please be ok, please be ok... please be ok"

Ryu glanced up at Star and couldn't help but smirk some. He then looks back at the situation while saying to Star "I have a feeling she'll be ok. If Angel is the only one that can tell Yawgmoth where his true prey is, then he's not about to kill her. At least not till he has what he wants. In truth she has the control in this situation."

While continuing to look out the window, Star heard Ryu's calming words. They made sense. "You know, you are probably right." she said to him. Concentrating on Angel's wounds, the knives backed themselves out and the wounds closed. Not a drop of blood was dropped. Star healed her sister but in the mean time, it took all of her magic and she fell out of the air.

Ryu has sensed what Star was doing, and the drain on her. He leaned back and let her fall into his lap. He looks to her with a smirk and says "looking for a comfy seat I see." Then gives her a wink.

A weak giggle escaped from her lips. "oops" she said. She wasn't meaning to fall into his lap, but sometimes a soft place to fall is very helpful. "Thanks Ryu." she said.
This comradere had her wondering, once again, what happened to her beloved. She missed him so much. They had been apart too long. If only he could send her a signal that he was ok but couldn't come to her. That would help a lot.
