As Star ate her food, she watched the exchange between the two men. It was quite comical. Almost like a dinner show. She just wished she could think of a way to make it stop. Being a telepath, she started concentrating on this thought:

Angel, drop a cage over this animal would ya.

Who knows if Angel would be able to hear her or not.

And I'm only going to say this once. -Malfurion stood up and walked closer to Yawgmoth, not arms length though. He's not an idiot- You threaten any of the people here one more time and we're going to see if gods can bleed...

Yawgmoth wasn't a fool and was quite the observer. The sound of a heavy cage falling wouldn't go unnoticed even with Mal mouthing off and making threats he couldn't possibly keep. Smirking to himself he decided to have a little fun. As soon as the cage hit the floor his body exploded, quite literally burst throwing a thick black oil like liquid everywhere as if it had been crushed by the cage.

The liquid however was just him and all the droplets started to move off of the floor, off of the people they had splashed onto rapidly reforming next to the cage but not inside of it. They bubbled up forming the liquid silhouette in black of the titan. He spoke with a strange distortion as if he was talking form underwater. "Now who could've done that...very rude." he said waving his liquid finger in the manner one would scold children. The liquid started to solidify and the Lord of the Wastes was once again before them, whole, complete. He cracked his neck slightly turning to Mal. "Then how about we threaten you instead. You've got quite the bite, more than the lizard over there. Let's knock some of the teeth out of that bite hm?"

As Star looked up from her meal, she realized that someone had heard her thoughts, she was just finishing the last bite when she was covered in the oil of Yawgmoth.

"Ewwww!" she exclaimed. "What the hell?" she continued just as the liquid began to receed from her.

Ryu smiled faintly. He knew Yawgmoth thought himself so powerful that a simple curse couldn't effect him. And even if Yawgmoth heard of voodoo, he'd likely heard by not believing in it, he was safe. But that was where he would be wrong. Most of the time belief in the curse was what lent power to it. But a powerful enough caster didn't need the victum to believe in the curse. They just needed a piece of them, for it. And that was all Ryu needed. He'd bid his time, and when the time came, show this titan how far he could fall.

As Daisy finished up the dishes, that voice was there again, so she did again what it asked. As she silently performed the calming spell, she couldn't help but think about the protection spell. There really was no need to calm these guys down because of the protection spell she and Angel had put over the bar not long ago. She just didn't know why the voice was insisting that this particular spell be done. It must mean that the messages weren't coming from Angel, who knew about the spell, nor could it be from Mal because he was present during that protection. So that only left two people, either it was Ryu or Star. She would take a wild guess that it was Star.

Daisy concentrated harder as the anger in the room started to resist the calming spell. She could feel the strength behind Star's spell as well. They would not give up until things were restored as being a calm atmosphere.

As Ryu was already calm, all the calming spell did was fortify his level head. He wasn't here for a fight anyway, he was here to relax after a long day's journey. He does say to Yawgmoth "Look, none here know where your prey is and by all accounts she is not here. You've learned this and now are simply looking for a fight none truly want. If you're such a high and mighty being, then prove it by leaving us alone and going elsewhere in search of your prey. For all you know they might be gathering forces elsewhere to rise against you. Isn't it more practical to resume a more important search, than be a part of a non-productive squabble?"

Yawgmoth gave a sigh. "When you're as old as we are, only a few things make you feel alive anymore. Fighting to the death is one of them." he shrugged. "If this boy wants to threaten us so boldly we will happily oblige in his murder." he said motioning to Mal. "Lead the way." he smirked to Mal getting ready to follow him out.

He decided that the lizard wasn't entirely incorrect and it was best to vacate, to get ready to fight Mal outside. But not before testing Ryu he thought. Swiftly, without any hints or warnings he sank into his own shadow like the floor swallowed him up. He rose up from Ryu's shadow swinging his arm at his face. The blow was not meant to connect, it was just to see his reactions, his speed at reacting and what his first instinct was. Surprise shots from out of nowhere showed you who people really were in a fight. The lizard should be proud though, it was Yawgmoth's way of showing a warrior's respect for combat prowess.
