well, I had recently taken a break from tending to my other eggs and went over to the abandoned pile; as usual the female dragons gave these a wide berth. I was walking through the eggs and received a very unpleasant shock from one of them as I passed it, I looked down and to my surprise found this baby:

I have a female electric so I thought maybe I could convince her to take care of the egg. Thankfully she's younger than my others and more prone to have mothering instincts and she immediately took the egg away, growling at any of my other dragons if they came too close.
After I made sure everything was good, I was compelled again to go through the pile and saw a bright streak of red hidden among some of the green and black eggs. I picked it out and found this:

I also have a female red and asked her if she could take care of this one so I'd have enough time for my five hatchlings. She agreed and since then CrimsonDeath:

have become very good friends. Let's hope I these eggs turn out to be their mates or at least a sister to frolic around with
