Sigil Warden
His left foot took a step out to his left. I do not know how that means he will have to lean over his center of gravity to execute the strike. This simply means his footing will be wider.
Keep in mind that his steps are short shuffling steps that at no point compromise his balance. It wasn't a large movement but in fact a very short one.
However I think I see your point about how the strike at that angle and to that target may be awkward. I will make sure to try to be more aware of stuff like that.
The crystal arm cannot in fact move in ways that are impossible for a jointed arm, so you are correct. smile
I'll keep a look out for any screwy technique in the following post. You let me know as soon as you see something that seems off.
Thank you.

King Bug Fairies in a bottle are kinda retarded strong. Is that supposed to be a genie joke?

If his footing is wider in the lateral sense, then yes, he is leaning over himself, and also defeating the point of the fencing stance.
If its wider in the medial sense, then it's somewhat better, though it still leaves the strike awkward and badly placed.

I just imagine Ganon cleaves Link in half, kid falls over dead, but then this fairy flies out of a bottle like WHOOP SPRINKLE SPRINKLE and he's all good. Gotta leave Ganon wondering where he could get one of those. And Link can have like 3 of them or more. Crazy.

You seem to know a lot about it. I'm always interested in learning stuff to make my role play more believable.

I was going to enter a rapier/pistol duelist but Vin is racist against firearms.
And mages.

Ehh, the way I play djinn of any sort, they tend to be more powerful when bound to a container. Not so farfatched in my head. If I were ganon, I'd find a way to turn off the lights that are attached to my weak points. Its sorta like saying hit me here, bruh.

Just make the pistol shoot magic.
That makes it okay.

Sigil Warden I was going to enter a rapier/pistol duelist but Vin is racist against firearms. And mages. Firearms I think would have made the fights worse. I think about it like this. One of the things I don't like about Tres is his heavy use of blades. Typically he only really uses knives and things that he can use with his grappling advantageously. The problem with this is that it causes the fights to escalate really quickly and it often reduces the time the fight last. This is even more so than magic or other supernatural abilities who's deadliness can often be suspended under the readers suspension of disbelief. However things like guns and blades are more real and visceral to us. So when you see a character eat a fireball, get back up and keep fighting is a little more believable than a guy getting up after being shot or stabbed and keep fighting. I kind of want to move away from Tres using blades so often in tournaments like these for the sake of the fight going on longer and the increased ability of my opponent to sell for the hit. You can sell for a punch or a fireball, way better than you can sell for a gun shot or a blade stab.

In reality, burns are horrifically scarring, painful, and damaging on a physical and psychological level, far more so than any bullet wound.
And yet, characters shrugged off flames that were hotter than a damn blast furnace when they were fighting Fireside.

Fights should be as long as they need to be. When a fight goes too long, then you start to get tired of it unless that fight is between grand opponents.

I hate gunmages.
Nothing like SPD 4 when you're getting pushed 1d3" every bullet.
