Nathan thought back about their time together. It wasn't that he didn't believe Jin... He knew Jin would keep his promise in taking care of him. Though he'd never admit it, Jin and Luca have both cared for him when he was so sure he was useless and disgusting. "Just-... Don't get yourself killed." He relaxed a little bit in Jin's arms, though he was wary of other people being around. He was ready for looks of disgust or to be called blasphemous... But it never came.
Luca snuggled closer in with Jin and Nathan. He seemed a little troubled himself, but not about Jin... He was certain he'd keep them all safe. Jin could do anything; Luca believed that. Perhaps he should have told Connor, but if Clayton never told him, then maybe it would be for the best.
Bill Sighed. She was right; he didn't want to spend this time together arguing, but... "If I ever lost you, Lizz... I'd go insane. I don't know if I'm strong enough..."

Jin laughed loudly at the very idea. "Honestly you're worried about THAT." He said. "I'm not a person Nathan, I'm an embodiment of a sin in all mankind. You can't KILL a feeling Nathan. Not as long as people feel pride around me..or people believe in me." He said giving him and Luca a soft kiss. "You need to remember..I'm not human..or anything else you've ever seen don't treat me like I am." He said.

Wrapping her arms around him she smiled up at him, "Your stronger than you know, of that I have no doubt. But you are not going to lose me, not here not now. We will get Clayton out, we will return home together, because I love you and you love me. We need each other and we will be with each other. I promise."

Clone took the brass knuckles, looking them over curiously. She was nervous, but she tried not to show it. She put the knuckles in the pocket of her dress, giving a nod.
"I understand. I'll do my best. What should I do to get caught?" She asked, not wanting to mess things up and ruin the rescue mission.
Reno spotted Loki in the corner, and watched him for a moment. He saw Aaron collapse and his eyes widened slightly. What did he do? Did he just make him pass out? He stood up and began to approach Loki, concerned for the both Loki and the other guy.
Nexan glanced to Jacob a moment and then looked away, gripping her blanket.
"Um...I'm fine..." She murmured, "I slept fine." She added, giving him a quick glance before looking away again. Eye contact made her incredibly nervous.

Nathan gave an irritated pout and looked to the ground. "Well I can't help it! I don't know what to expect, everyone I love gets taken from me one way or another and if I ever lost you..."
Bill looked at Lizz and sighed, holding her close. "As long as you promise." He felt like he was holding the world in his arms, stronger than Atlas the great Titan. Though like the tale, Bill could hold on forever.
Jacob smiled to her sincerely. "I'm glad." He saw how nervous she was, and he looked away. "You don't need to be afraid of me... I told Ren I would keep you safe and I am a man of my word. You have nothing to worry about."
"You will go with Aaron," Connor replied, "He's going to go in from the side while Jin and the others distract the front. You will both head up towards where we expect the cells would be, which will have security. You'll get caught by them and then just do as they say. The only trouble you might have is from the mind readers. Whatever you do, don't let them read your mind. You can block it out by thinking or a song or just of one thing constantly."
Loki looked over to Reno. Did he see? Of course he did. Loki smirked. "Oh good. You're awake." He still clutched his head. "Ugh... I need food... Blood sugar..."

Jin grinned and cooed softly. "So..you admit you love me?" He said softly kissing him on the cheek. "Good...because if you love me..I can not lose. Your love makes me stronger." He told him softly. "So love me..with all you have." He whispered to him. "Love me and nothing can stop me."

"I promise" she said softly as her eyes closed, his warmth surrounding her. Inside she was terrified of not what they were about to do, for some reason she wasn't scared of that but she was terrified of the....monster growing inside her. She didn't know what to call it, baby didn't seem right. But for now she was staying here, in his arms until Conner was ready to reveal what he needed from them.

Nexan glanced back to him, trying to put on a more relaxed face.
"Er, okay." She murmured, clutching her blanket. She looked around at the ground a moment before speaking up again.
"Is...is there anything I have to do?" She asked, in reference to the approaching rescue mission.
Clone listened carefully, growing a bit nervous when he spoke of the mind readers. Would she be able to evade them? He made it sound a lot easier then how it actually is.
"I understand. I'll try my best." She said, showing a nervous smile.
Reno gestured to the knocked out Aaron, "What--what did you do?" He asked, half-whispering.
"People just don't randomly make other people pass out!" He added, keeping his voice down just in case. He as concerned about Loki's blood sugar, but what he just saw was a little more important in his mind.

Loki sighed, putting his hand to his face, taking off his glasses. He felt so sick. "As much as I despise it... This mission needs to be a success. So I'm taking precautions. The Order has a few mind readers, mind alterers... Mind-erasers. So I used my own ability to make sure Aaron forgets any information about the mission when his mind is tapped. If any other mind-reader gets into his head, they won't be able to get anything from him. I can only do this to a few people because... Of my blood sugar... But in the end after we claim our prize, it'll be worth it. I saw Connor speaking alone to Clone; I'll have to do the same to her. But that'll be the extent of my ability if I'm to do any good during the mission. And now that YOU know, I'll have to make sure YOU don't get caught."
Jacob smiled back at Nexan. "You want to help save Ren. So what I'll need from you is to stay close to me. That is all. You will understand once we get there."
Connor smiled at Clone reassuringly. "You'll do fine. Clayton was pretty lucky, finding a girl like you. I bet he misses you a lot." He stood up and called out to everyone, "Alright, we should huddle up! It's plan breakdown time."
Nathan looked down and opened his mouth to say something, but Connor made his announcement and Nathan's reply got lost in his mind. "I guess it's about time..."

Jin stood up. His tail extended out behind him a display of both confidence and aggression. He was suspecting he was going to have to release all the power he had been building up from Luca's and Nathan's adoration. Frankly he hadn't actually USED any of his power in..ages. There had been no reason too he could usually stare down people into not fighting him. If his confident energy alone that he normally had didn't intimidate people into backing off he could open the flood gates of his own bravado. He had not actually done anything like that since he came here. Luca had not seen him use his confidence to scare people. He was not like that awful black thing but pride could create fear. When you stand before your opponent completely unafraid and confident in your victory, especially against what they think are overwhelming odds, they will falter. One man standing to face an army alone with no fear can be more terrifying then superior numbers and forces. Jin a long time ago, before he had perfected his art of seduction had used battle to gain power. He had fought and defeated enemies all that were said to be stronger then him, the frail and pale little bird everyone thought him to be. That had made him strong but nothing really stroked one's ego as much as having someone adore and worship you, but what Nathan and Luca gave him was different. Love was the most powerful augment to someone's pride, being worthy of love boosted a person confidence to heights most people didn't even realize. Nathan's love was valuable, special and hard to earn and that just made him stronger. He had never thought himself unworthy of it, but Nathan had deemed him worthy himself and that boosted his power. The power given to him of that special rare love could balance out the poor boy's fear. Nathan was afraid Jin would lose and that did weaken him slightly but once he made his powers clear it would help. He had learned to be fabulous but also unassuming. Conflict was not something he enjoyed anymore but he would not shrink from it. After all, he hated it when Luca turned blue..it was an ugly shade on him.

Leon stood up, shaking the tiredness from his body. He shifted back into a human, ready to face things. He looked at Connor, already ready for action. He was going to rescue his parents soon, and it was setting him on edge.
They would be proud of him, right? He could do this. Some small part of him was sad he didn't have all the bonds everyone else in this ragtag group had, but that didn't matter to him. He would do what he had to do to get his family back. The only people he could trust.

Madeleine entered her office and sat down frustrated. She had searched the entire floor, asked every one she could, checked logs, searched near by towns but he was gone. Leon had escaped her, "He is going to kill me....my first assignment and I lose him"

Connor looked out to the group which gathered around him. He had the air of a leader, but not by intimidation. Connor was like an incorruptible man; honest, true, trustworthy, loyal and brave. Even though those who knew him were aware at how humble and fun-loving he was, right now he was serious, and he was determined. Connor took a second to soak in the moment.
Luca didn't speak, but he wasn't as bubbly as usual. It was like a deep secret wore down his heart. There was something he wanted to say... But he didn't know if he could reveal it. He knew he should to Connor but...
"We're all here for different reasons. But we all share the same objective," Connor said to them, "I know working together for some might not be... Ideal. But sometimes in life you have to choose the harder path in order to ensure your success. We have a bunch of people that are caged up in high-security building. People who have helped us. People who we care for. The Order sees them as Zodiacs, but we know who they REALLY are. It is up to us to save them. It is up to us to shake up the Order and show them that they can't just take people away. They can't treat us like children, telling us what to do, how to think, where to act... They can't keep taking away our family and friends just because 'its for the best.' This isn't just a rescue; it's a statement. We might be making history today, my friends. We might be able to make a difference. So today, no matter where you're from or who you are, you are a comrade. We are ALL comrades. And we will all be getting out of this alive. Every single one of you, and every single one locked in that dungeon!"
There were cheers from a few people.
"Clayton once told me, 'what you believe in is what you really own.' I believe he's right. I believe that no one should have the authority to tell you who to be or what your destiny is. That's for you to decide. Don't let the Order take away what you think of as yourself. No matter what they might do to you, there's an inch of you that no one can take. Believe in yourself. Believe in your comrades. If you do that, there's nothing we can't do."
"Now, for the plan." Connor looked at Jin. "Jin, I'll need you, Nathan and Luca to be front and center. I want all eyes on you. Phoenix, stay close but out of sight, I want you sniping down the stragglers. But you know my policy; no deaths if you can help it. We're not the killers here."
"Aye, sir," Phoenix smiled like a Buddhist monk, sweet and unassuming. He knew his part.
"Jacob, I need you, Nexan, Bill and Blade to take the back way. Attract attention, take down everyone you can but again, don't take lives you don't have to take. Remember these people we're fighting are still people and they aren't the real enemy."
Jacob didn't respond. Just as Connor expected.
"Aaron, Loki, Clone and Reno should take the East wall. I know you're good with stealth, Loki, and I suspect you know what I want you to do."
Loki looked a bit surprised. Could Connor have known that Loki was spying on Connor when he spoke to Clone and Aaron? It was obvious to him why he and Jacob could be at such rough ends.
"Rob, Lizz, Leon. You three will come with me to the West wall. According to Leon that is where we'll run into the archives. We can find out what the Order plans to do with the zodiacs and how we can save them. It's the most concentrated security so I'm counting on you Leon to help us pass. If things go wrong, Rob, I'll need you and your boards."
"Sure thing, Connaway," Rob replied, holding onto his skateboard tighter. Rob had volunteered on an experiment Irene had conducted. He had the makings of a legitimate superhero, but he was never given the chance to prove himself until now. This was a big thing for Rob.
The objective for the front and the back is to be a distraction and to dwindle down resistance to the stealth off to the sides. If you are in danger for any reason, I want you guys to retreat to the woods and hold off there. If all goes well, no lives will be lost today. The objective for each side is to infiltrate, rescue, and get out. Don't take unnecessary risks. Above all, be safe. We WILL succeed. So don't worry. Any questions?"

As Conner spoke Lizz couldn't help but smile, this reminded her of one of her favorite movies Braveheart. The feeling of calm about this was gone as Conner started giving out orders for each group. The Order was something she had been scared of pretty much all her life, stories of people just disappearing and being taken away were the common whispered stories she grew up with.
Her right hand was still interlaced with Will's, her fingers tightening around his as her left hand subconsciously going over her stomach.
