Siniku had a secret about the stance he was using... He had no clue how to do the Iron Fist Techniques from the Fire Country. He knew however the basic stance and often that was all a person needed to know in order to fool an opponent into thinking one thing or another, despite this thought Siniku was no slouch in close quarters combat and knew the basic self defense skills.

And unfortunately, Siniku's Counter was not what Howaido would expect, there was no blocking, there was nothing but the quick fluid movements of the ANBU Captains hands as they performed a handsign. Siniku's smirk was devious as a puff of smoke surrounded the Ninjutsu Specialist.

Then, out of the smoke, an oddly feminine voice called out, "Ho-wa-i-do-kuuuun..." with the smoke then dissipating, showing a rather voluptuous woman, with siniku's bright fiery orange hair and Orchid colored eyes, and was even posing as suggestively as she could, the remaining smoke covering up any of her unmentionables.

This Counter Howaido would not expect, nor even conceive of being used at a time like this... Which was why it was the Perfect Counter to that strike, at least that was Siniku's Thinking.

realizing that without any form of defence against fire techniques he'd be vulnerable. he pumped fire chakra throught his body to coat himself in a fine coating of fire chakra designed in such a manner that it would cause a fire resistance. this in itself would not protect him fully but would reduce the amount of heat damage he'd take from fire techniques. To increase the ammount of chakra used in the technique to increase it's effectiveness. to check how this would work Lucas struck a match and threw it at the gas cloud he'd made previously making it ignite and covering him in flame. Lucas continued to sustain the chakra coating which reduced the heat from the flames but did not make them not hurt. Lucas then had the idea that by manipulating the movement of the chakra coating to hopefully keep a cooling system in place to help reduce the amount of heat coming through. in doing so he found that his skin became much cooler even with the fire over top. while the chakra swirled to cool down the skin it also seemed to be fueling the flames a little so that they did not die. while he was still able to feel the heat it was not intense and so if he could use this in a normal battle he could ignite himself on fire and strike opponents like that. this turned out to be not such a good idea as the longer he lingered the more intense the flames seemed to get on him. Lucas attempted to speed the current up while steadilly feeding a small portion of chakra into the coating to maintain the technique so as to overwhelm the fire over the coating. Now that he did that it seemed that the flames began to subside but they still remained there, the heat from them seemed lessened however. now that he had done that he began to notice that he had obtained small burns along his arms mainly. he focused on letting his arms also be cooled as it seemed he'd been lacking in the arms. Now that that was done he lit a match and put the flame against his skin to see what would happen. the flame flickered and died almost instantly. now all he had to do was utilize this in a battle. but first he wanted to make sure that there was going to be a way for him to be able to nearly be immune to the heat of fire techniques. creating another flammable gas cloud he ignited it and stepped into the flames. he stood there watching as the fire resistance technique did wonders and made him feel almost normal within the fire.

Lucas sat down in a medatative postion and hummed to himself as he meditated. he cleared his mind of all thoughts and let it just be as it was. he let his chakra flow naturally and he let everything inside him relax.
from there he entered his mind in search of serenity and himself. while going through his mind he would clear out all the white within turning his mind to a black tundra of peace. then once he felt ready he would release all into the mind creating a warp like state where everything was ever changing and always in flux.
his mind now full required patience and care to maintain balance. within his mind he held the warring flux in place so that never would it become to powerful and overwhelm him. clearing his mind was only the begining to the serenity that lay ahead of him.
Lucas held his ground and let everything of his body be as it was and let himself touch everything and let everything touch him. he would then need to take the flood and channel it into a source of power.
once he filled the power with the flux his chakra would begin to rise but if he did not maintain the flux within himself he would lose the battle for the power. once he felt the calming wave to the release of power into himself he loosened his hold on the flux allowing it to rage war with itself slowly again. from there the power came to it's peak and in an elated sense of strength Lucas released the hold entirely from the flux.

Lucas walked back into the area and dropped his baggage. a hiss could be heard from within the cage that was covered with a thin cloth.

San would appear dropping down through the ceiling, flipping so his feet where first and landed next to James. In a friendly tone, the Konin spoke to his buddy.

"Well....thats an interesting...erm...sight...."

Looking up from his baggage Lucas would take notice of the girl approaching him and would look at her with a slight amount of interest. as she walked away and james popped up making his comment Lucas turned to him and shook his head.
"i swear james. you dont know how to loosen up. how could you not want some of... well... i shouldn't finnish that here..."
he said noting some younglings coming about. he shook his head and went back to sorting out the things he'd brought back from takumi.

Lucas simply laughed. as if he'd known all along. he hadn't but he didn't care. he turned around and then flicked a senbon over his shoulder so that it would hit the top of the doorway that james was standing in.
"well. he demeaned me. training begone. i was teaching him something more important than simple training."
he said sullenly picking up the gesture C. training manual and pulled off the cloth covering the cage. inside was a snake, inland taipan. this snake would be his combat aid. if ever he needed to do something without being knoticed he would utilize fuzzy.

Lucas rolled his eyes as he read his book. he stooped down to get to the snake's level and began to run through the rudimentary drills and comands such as watch and lay and up. these would be the basis to his comands with fuzzy for when in combat.
"you know James... even though we must restrain ourselves we also must not let others do as they please. we do not only protect but present order and comand to the land. without us there would be chaos. any who demean those higher than themselves without having already established a basis upon which their argument may be presented should be met with an according amount of punishment."
he said and then went back to doing the gestures. while doing them he would look a tad silly as he was flailing his arms around and seemingly twitching randomly.
