... well.
That's annoying. I got disconnected mid-mission, so my contact now things I "abandon missions too often" and won't offer me any.

I also have this insatiable urge to make a character in APB named "Crazy Pete," and have him buy cars then sell them back at reduced prices.
Just so that in Social, I can go around telling people that I'm selling cars for prices so low...
... they're crazy.

I'm about to. The tutorial should give me enough money to make a decent suit, or I can probably just mail it to myself in-game.
Also considering making Judge Fudge, so that when people ask if anyone wants to join a group in Social, I can tell them I would, but I'm far too busy...
... being delicious.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSEYXWmEse8Choose one of the above. ... seriously though, not bad. It could just be me, but some of the later voices seemed to run together a little bit. But hey, what do I know? Good job. [Edit] The Pokemon one in particular sounded too much like you were trying to emulate the character, instead of be the character. Unless that was the point.

the one right after the pokemon one, the rich guy, was awesome.
the "sun tzu" one might've been better with a bit more pausing between phrases or something.
i wasn't feeling the very last one, though. something about the phasing, i think.
but those were great. what're you trying to do, get set up with a small-time anime studio so you can eventually be like... mary-elizabeth mcglynn, doing anything, everywhere for games and shows and movies?
'cause i can totally see you doing that.

Thank you very much, Rage. And the pokemon one was just me doing a voice. I actually called it "Annoying Rival." It was a bit of a nod to Gary, but the voice is solidly representative of what I can do, and do easily.
And Wulf, I called that voice "Kingly Narrator." I agree about the Sun Tzu one. I could have let it "breathe" a bit more now that I think about it. I'll consider it in the future. The last one was more a test of my villain ability with some effects. I called it "Raspy Villain" for that reason. The effects might not have been perfect, but alone, it seemed lacking somehow.
And to answer your last question, yes, I'm trying to get into voice acting. I got to voice act in front of Wendee Lee and Tony Oliver and a crowd of like 100+ people at Anime Expo, and she said I did a really good job with what I had. And all the s**t I did throughout those 4 days really got me thinking about what I could do. I've been wanting to do it for a long time, but now that I'm officially out of college, I figured now was as good a time as ever to start working more heavily on this.

Seems like a good idea.
Though it makes me think one of these days I should record myself and see how it sounds. People really only hear me talking at low speed over Vent, and high speed in person.

rage> record yourself and send it to me, and i'll speed up/slow down your voice. i can even autotune you, SHAWTAY.
ryugi> pursue it, man. if princess rozalin, chai xianghua, and kagero of the koga ninja all agree, then come on.

Wulf: I had a witty comeback but I forgot what it was. So here's a picture of internet judges.

Aw man, I wanna hear voices~!
By which I mean I wanna have a connection good enough to listen to a youtube without investing a half-hour.
Have you heard of VAA, Ryugi? I don't know how interested you'd be in amateur voice acting if you're trying to get into the real industry, but they had a neat panel about it at Fanime this year. Seemed like a good way to get practice and learn some of the ropes.

Your dialogue is shitty. ...but considering that's a staple of the genre I can't fault you for portraying it accurately. The background music helped to make it sound more professional. As for complaints... Other than that all of them in some way had 'Finkle's Voice' in it on a level that ran underneath everything, they were all cartoony voices. That is to say, somewhat overexaggerated, somewhat unrealistic, and though they sounded pretty precisely like a number of other voice acting examples that you were no doubt trying to emulate it was always "guy doing voice over" rather than "guy talking".
