A character of mines wields a large claymore, which is a bit larger than the European styles. Tell me if these dimensions are pretty balanced. I'm also concerned about the weight because the blade is suppose to be sort of a hacking rather than slashing weapon. Quote: The weapon was built into a total length of 4’ 5”, with a one foot grip, and a 3’ 5” remaining being a double-edged blade. The pommel is wrapped in the tough skin of some hellish beast that is just as resistant to the supernatural flames, allowing for a nice grip. The nut at the end is guarded by a small jagged ring, with a dark red jewel sitting in its center. Looking closely at the jewel, one can get a glimpse into the pits of hell itself. The handguard is spiked towards the blade, having spans of five inches out to each side. Another jewel sits just at the base of the blade, acting as another conduit to the underworld. The blade is tinted red, though not from the heat, but as its natural hue. The blade is six inches wide and an inch thick, with the edges tapered to a fine point to give it weight behind its sharpness. The total weight of this weapon is ten pounds.

Blades can be one piece that extends through the grip section and out the end, and they are the most balanced type of blade. They can also end at the hilt, and have a stem that secures it to the handle.
That detail is missing.
Raven: I think it would taste fine with a little salt and pepper. xd

Raven: I think it would taste fine with a little salt and pepper. xd You mean the tang, which is used to hold the blade to the handle. The strongest tang is full, which goes right through to the pommel, with the pommel actually being part of the tang most often. Then there's the tang where the pommel screws in, then the sort of tang which goes only into the hilt and not to the pommel.

I picture the concept, but I don't know the terminology. Thanks. heart

Sunstrike ARRRRRRRRGH FLASH! Thou shalt always mine enemy, and constant battle shall be waged until I have understood you, foul program from hell. Turns out that if you want a job as a games illustrator, learn flash. ******** college! I find that most companies will use experience with certain technology as a weeding out process for their applicants. Every clerk type position has a separate form to fill out to indicate the skill level with a list of different programs that the company uses. Gone are the days that you pick a person for a job because they are eager, and willing to learn what they need to do on the job. You can take a course that will give you a piece of paper that says that you are educated in it's use and applications, and try again. Here they aren't all that long, like maybe a month or something like that. Depends on the level that you take the course for the program at. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Keep trying Sunny side up. I'm sure there is something out there for you.
