Pheaura looked down to the two little imps that seemed to have surrounded her. They were curious little beings. She had never seen them before, but from stories she heard she was sure they were imps...or maybe faries....little tricksters of sorts. Now she was confused.
"No I am not related to Starflower, nor do I know who she is," Pheaura replied to the one little creature as she tried to shake the other one off her leg. "My name is Pheaura. I am a mercenary. I've traveled long and far and faought many battles in my time. I require a place to rest, that is all."

"I didn't kill anyone! I found her! some panther with tentacles killed her!"
the snap was barely avoided, and claws raked at any exposed body with demonic energy to help the wounds...against just using brute force to fling his twin away from him and into more stone...this time literally ripping a peice of wall free and tossing it after him, rushing right behind it.
"Summoned. It'll be sent right back home after this."
A slight grin at her.
"I got grape juice for you. and some apple cider as well."
Then his attention turned to the arena.
"Get on with it, surface bred! Lets see some improvement!"

Eliot held her face as impassive as possible.
"You walk differently Warren, for hours I wouldn't be able to catch a wiff of youon the ship and when i do the scnet has changed."
She looked down at her tail.
"The captain knows it to..."

"That would be a no..." Well darn, there went her occassional glass of wine...for a year. But considering why she wasn't going to be drinking anymore, it was worth it. But she was going to have to remember she wasn't allowed too...especially in light of an upcoming ball where fancy drinking would no doubt be the staple. But a little giggle again, as he more or less egged Arthur on, his charging of the drgonic creature not being enough for Malik's tastes. Though it was funny how Malik used 'surface bred' as a mocking term, and she didn't feel offended by it even if she was too. Life was funny. "So, he does a good job, and I invite him to a ball...it comes off as a reward and positive reinforcement." Grabbing a strawberry and a glass of cider, dropping one in the other before producing a cinnmon stick and plopping that in her drink as well. "It's like a tournament everyday."

Warren coughed into his hand again. "Yes, well I guess he would know."
Abruptly, he changed the subjecyt. "Eliot, do you trust me?"

"No relation confused I guess the colour of your skin made that obvious." He sighed, as if he were disapointed.
Jell vanished from her leg to reapear on her head. "Mercenary? I can't even pronpunce that! What is it?"
"Can we eat it?"
Moonstone snorted. "I think I would have smelled something that outragious." He ducked before the piece of rubble could hit him. Digging his hind feet into the ground, he launched at Onyx's chest, brining him to the ground. "You and your out of controle emotions! You killed her!"

Eliot looked up. "Do you really need to ask me that Warren?" She stopped the maticulous grooming of her tail. Her eyes changed to gold, and back to grey.
"All this time I keep wondering just when your going to start trusting others. I am your friend, aren't I? I think we have experience things together that warrent a little bit of trust from one another. But I believi it is I who is not recieving any from you."

Onyx snarled and tussled with his twin, before getting on top and grabbing his twin by the throat adn squeezing as hard as he could. Murderous intent in his eyes, snarling, drooling lightly even.
"I'll show you out of control. I'll show you..You want to call me a murder? fine! I'll earn the title with you!"
Claws dug into the ground, and into his neck, trying as hard as he coudl to keep leverage on his twin.
"See, works great, doesn't it."
The drakota flew by, trying beat him with his wings, or useing the force of wind to blow him back for his tail lash...as well as flame and claws.

The drakota easily moved out the simple bolts of lighting the young surface elf sent it's way and started to fly around the arena looking at an opportunity to strike at him when he let his guard down. Arthur to say was pretty pissed that he had to fight against something like a damn drakota but since Malik would not let it go if he didn't defeated the damn thing Arthur would just have to find a way to kill it, so as he kept on running he had to keep his distance away from the drakota as much as possible, if he got too close the damn creature would probably eat him as fast as it could, so the farther he stayed away the better chance he had at seeing what it was going to do to him. More or less the damn thing had two modes of attack, spitting some flame at him and just flying down to try and claw at him but it could probably use it's wings to knock him off balance so he had to watch out for that too. With a loud roar the drakota shot out a stream of fire right down on top of Arthur but the surface elf rolled out of the way and started to run again as the flame started to follow him where ever he went, he cursed again and quickly brought up a wall of earth to block the flame for a short while as he charged his katana with ice, with a small grin he brought his katana over his head and then brought it down with enough force to cause about a thousand bits of ice to shoot right at the drakota.
The drakota wasn't stupid of course, it stopped it's flame to quickly melt the ice shard that were coming at it with a fire ball and roared in anger before going into a dive and headed straight at Arthur with it's jaw wide open. Noting how fast the creature was when coming in for a close assault Arthur rolled off to the side as the drakota zipped right passed him, but the damn wing had a tiny claw on it which cut Arthur's left arm when he rolled into a crouched position. Hissing at the sting of pain he paused to hold the wound as his eye followed the damn creature as it when up then came back down for another chance to grab him in it's jaws. "son of a-" Arthur wasn't able to finish his statement as he rolled again to the left to avoid the damn creature. When he got up the drakota was circling the air a bit a ways from him as it thought about his next move, just as Arthur did as he slowly stood up and watched the drakota. Okay I can use only three elements here in order to bring the damn thing down. Water, or ice really for that matter, Wind which I may need to use for later, and Lighting. Fire is a no go since it uses fire as it's main choice of element and Earth is out of the question since it's too hard to throw and it can easily dodge whatever I throw at it, it can be only used as cover...so what to do...

Pheaura giggled and reached for the creature on her head. "No silly. It means I am a warrior for hire. People who need help defending themselves pay me to defend them. I fought in many battles. And saved many people, it also means I've a lot as well."
Pheaura was saddened at this. She loved when she saved a life, but hated despensing of one life to save another. Surely she would not be saved now.

"Maybe. You just want your laughs." A little shrug as she merely snacked and watched Arthur roll around and try to go up against the drakota and well...at least he was living. Living meant that you were at least good at running away now didn't it? Better to scratched up than charbroiled and eaten by a dragon thing. It was amusing to say the least.

He made a gugleing noise as his throat was constricted, the claws piercing his skin and leaving bloody rivelets down his fur. With a heave he hurled his brother off of him, leaping back in and wrapping his teeth around the back of his brothers neck. He was roaring through his teeth, whatever he had sayed became nothing but feral mutters.
Warren rubbed the back of his neck. "Eliot. I trust you, I've just become very busy from reasons beyond my control. What I am doing requires a lot of trust from people who don't want to trust me." He stood, putting his hands behind his back and pacing. "I have a lot of responsibility now, too."
"Awe....okay." Jell let the woman hold him, looking up at her. "So what's your name? I'm Jell. That's Jaun. He's the smart one."
"That I am, that I am and for one dollar you can be a smart one too. I own a dictionary, and for one dollar, I'll let you read it."

"I am Pheaura. I am very pleased to meet you. Unfortunately the dictionary is not something I would prefer to read. I find it boring, but," Pheaura paused as she fished around in her pocket. As soon as she found what she was looking for she passed it to Jaunt. "You can have a dollar anyway, for a sign for friendship and good faith."

Eliot looked away. "Well I wouldn't know about that now would I? I come from a sheltered life and don't understand such things as "responsibility" and "hygene". She was getting flippant and she was only serving to anger herself further.
"You trust me Warren yet you don't let me know whats going on? How is that trust? You sneak around and you hide things, and you lie! How in the world is that supposed to make me trust you!? And I thought You cared about this freindship."
She stood straight, her brow wrinkled. "you know what?, I've had enough of this." She started walking towards the door.

"Okay come on you big dumb a** lizard, I'm ready for you..." he whispered a little bit as he stood there with his katana ready to go as the damn drakota kept on circling the air above him, a few roars and hisses could be heard from the creature but Arthur didn't want to take the offensive incase this thing will swoop down quickly and snatch him while he's trying to complete an attack. Then in a blink of an eye a fire ball came flying through the air at Arthur and the young surface elf rolled to the left to doge, then another came at him and he rolled forward to get out of the way, then one more came flying at him and he rolled to the right move out of that one so he wouldn't get burned to death by the hot flames. Though as he rolled into his crouched position the young elf heard a loud roar and turned his attention to see the damn drakota coming at him with it's jaw wide open as it's long tongue hanged out just a little so it could wrapped around Arthur and pull him in once it got close enough to bite.
Since it was too close to just roll to the side Arthur did something pretty daring, he rolled forward towards the drakota and as his body moved forward his leg just barely missed the 'snap' of the jaws as they came to a close when the lizard thought he could grab him. When the young surface elf laid on his back in the dirt he watched as the drakota flew on by above him and he smiled just a little bit, he was able to land about underneath the wing of the lizard so grabbing his katana quickly, he brought it up in a hard thrust to cut the soft part of the wing, even though it was a small cut the drakota roared as the blade passed through the soft leathery part of the wing before it took to the sky again.
Arthur smiled and got up on his feet as he looked for the damn big lizard, he spotted it as it hissed and roared at it's injured wing the good part for the drakota is that it wasn't bad so it could still fly easily. The young elf sighed in relief but knew the fight was long from over, he needed to either get the damn thing on it's back or at least break a wing which would need of him to use either his wind or lighting magic, now all he needed was the right moment to use it.
