Heim and Annie are my favorites. They're both strong mage characters in their own ways. Heimerdinger is more strategic, while Annie can be more straightforward (and her teddy bear Tibbers is a great help =3)

I know many people don't, but I play Sivir in a defensive way o-o. Her ricocheting boomerang is amazing for taking out mobs.

And Irealia is just a good pvp assassin o-o

The reason I tried Chogoth in the first place was because of a 5v5 match I played, where the enemies had a godzilla sized Chogoth stomping around... He was a really... really tough cookie o-o




So... is this one piece guild good or bad o:

in other words bad mad i'm about to quit it. I'm most likely not going enjoy this new "Golden Age - of Wolf Monopoly"

Wait, so are we talking about NFS1, or a One Piece guild? o.o;

On a side note: I rather like the idea of the Recruitment thread. I've actually been trying to get a couple friends of mine to join. xD;

Yeah, There was, Wolf, his wife Selyne and then Zenzen Momotto.

They're still good friends apparently and such.

The higher up members eventually became in active like Ruke and thus Wolf took everything and did as he pleased due to having a "New Mod" promotion and s**t I believe...

ended up ripping the heart from the guild and tossed it aside like trash....

I just want to clear some confusion really quick.

For one, do not insult the mod team of the one piece guild. Thats going too far. The conversation is about specific members, and overall opinion of the guild yes. But I would rather not get started bashing other mods as a simple act of courtesy if you dont mind.

Secondly, I think that the war of NFS1 is one that is filled with shady tactics and otherwise under the table dealings that one would not know about unless you were actually involved. So with that being said, I will now give my perspective as to what happened. I would like to say before hand however that I realize that everyone has their own interpretation of things, so by that I am not calling anyone a liar here. I a simply stating it as I saw it and as I experienced it. I also would like to mention the fact that the only reason I am allowing names to be called, and this subject to hit so close to home is the fact that I know that there has been s**t talking about NFS2, the mod team, and about myself specifically. In other words, if they are calling names, im calling names.



Here is how it went down. A lot of people may have thought that Ruke was a bad guy, even I myself was guilty of this assumption. However, everyone that was part of the Water Alliance knew better. Wolf went on a power trip. He began metagaming and using his mod powers to more or less shut down and take over every single village in the guild. As the back and forth struggle continued, for reasons that I can not speak on, Ruke retired from the guild. Leaving wolf more or less uncontested rule of NFS modship. Ruke also passed down the Water Alliance down to Sorain & Sai. From this we essentially inherited Rukes beef.

We respected Rukes wishes, and continued our campaign against wolf. While under my control, there was only one instance where the water alliance violently took over another country and this was done entirely in character, and in fact was an accident. (IE. I didnt just decide that I wanted the country. I had personal beef with the kage of swamp, we fought, he forfitted and auto killed himself. The village defaulted to my alliance)


Around this time, many of our main members dropped off, basically leaving me and Sai vs the world so to speak. Fortunately however, Ruke left us a final parting gift. Along with all of his Oe's. He left us a hidden scroll that had about 11 or so custom jutsu slots that we were allowed to use his custom jutsu level on. With this we were able to make a set of jutsu using a technique that we had inherited from Ruke himself that would have given us a fighting chance against wolf.

Around this time we headed to leaf, where a deal was struck with Ava. In exchange for some good battle lines, and a great deal of ryo + assistance in creating said items. She would fight for our alliance. This was VITAL to our campaign against wolf. With Ava fighting for us with her new items, plus me and sai. We actually had a worth while chance, AND a battle strategy in place that we KNEW would work because Ruke showed us this technique himself, and we actually SAW where he did it in battle.


While this is going on, Wolf is in the OOC talking about how he looks forward to someone actually putting up a fight against him, and that he openly welcomed the attempt. However what does he do? He disguises his character and places a bounty on HIMSELF (against the rules). Heads to fire country for apparently no reason and attacks us. Then to add insult to injury, he erases Ava's knowledge of us and makes her think that we are the enemy. All the while ava has shown him no signs of actually being aligned with us. The only way he would have known to do that, is if he metagamed us.

Ok cool, not a problem. We decided to fight him off the best we could. I transferred my demon to sai as per our agreement at the time and began channeling chakra into Sai. Sai performed a move, which I am not clear on the details of (will have to ask him). Yet once it was done, Wolf ruled that the move was illegal. Even though we provided a direct link to where Ruke (who is a mod of equal level to wolf) did the EXACT SAME MOVE and it was allowed. He insisted that the move was wrong, but instead of giving sai a chance to change it. He completely negated it all together. Ie, he lost his turn because it was an illegal move. He counter attacked, and killed us all.


We took that middle finger in stride and continued to rp. But the final straw, is when he auto approved a list of oe's FOR HIMSELF. That were Op as all s**t. In fact, (and you can ******** quote me on this) When we got to nfs 2 and we were reviewing the old oe's. DBL himself said that damn near all of those oe's that wolf had were Over powered and should have never been added in the first place.


Side Note: The move that was rejected, was done with a clone doll. For those of you who dont know. In NFS1, clone dolls were basically items that gave you the permission to use a 100% copy of another persons character. We had a FULL copy of Hatari Hyuuga. Complete with stats and jutsu. We pulled the same move that he had used in a fight before. Yet it was still ruled as illegal, and we were not even given a chance to fix it. It was negated entirely.


And this my friends, is the true, (or at least my interpretation of true) story of the war of NFS.

I went back and read over it. I remember the move now. It used an oe called "Innate" which made it so your jutsu was considered a natural ability of your body and was not actually a jutsu at all. This would be like a Bird and its ability to fly, or a lizards ability to change color. Its not a skill, nor is it a trick. It is something that their body naturally is able to do. Systematically it made it so, you could place this effect on a skill, or use it in conjunction with another skill and you could select on the spot what category your skill was. So basically, you could have one skill and use it as Nin, Gen, Or Tai at your discretion as long as it makes rprical sense.

When we pulled this move, it was in defense to a massive attack of wolfs. I used my hatari hyuuga clone to defend for us all. I used his Tai stat, and a Nin skill. Which I am allowed to do, because I was basically using this OE to turn the Nin skill into a Tai skill.

Wolf still said no. Dispite all the evidence we showed that said that we should be able to do it this way. Without another mod of equal rank, we could not over turn it and he got to make the final call.

Then instead of letting me repost or change my defense like you normally would. He negated it, my PC dropped, and I was not allowed to roll again. There for I lost.


Long story short.

I had
920(Tai) + 249(Nin Skill Lvl)

His argument was, that because the skill is Nin, I have to use my Nin stat. Which would make it

710(Nin) + 249(Nin skill lvl)

This would be true, however because of the OE, the skill used was changed to Tai. But wolf wouldnt let me.

Even though I am ready for the convo about it to come to an end. The problem here was, the only active mod at the time, was him.
