What's the deal with Red Cliff? My room mate bought the 2-part thing on Bluray.
But didn't Jet Li say no more Kung Fu epics after Fearless? It doesn't look like it gets much more epic than Red Cliff.
EDIT: Wait, I think Im thinking of a different film. What was the other film Li recently made?
Double Edit: I guess it was Warlords. I got them confused because he left them sitting on top of each other. IGNORE ME.

Holy crap, Sun is right. The theatrical version is 148 minutes; part 1 of the 2 part movie series is about the same length. Unfortunately, only the theatrical version is offered on the netflix instant watch.
Unfortunately, The Good, The Bad, and The Weird is not on instant watch either.
Maybe worth looking up some other way to see online? I'unno.

That'd be my suggestion Fish. A lot of things in Red Cliff make a lot more sense when you see the whole version.
And the other is fairly new, I'd just mentally file it for when it makes it's way onto the place where you watch.
