Kaguyo shrugged. "Who can say?"
But it was around then that Kazuhiko appeared, sighing deeply. "Kit-Kat's dead." he announced sadly. "What happened here?? Where's Otousand and Okaasan?? Do you know? Are they here?? I can't find them." he frowned.
THIS was a bad sign.
For Kazu-kun of all people to not be able to sense his parents... something was very, very, very wrong indeed.
Morrigan scowled. "I won't leave him." she answered proudly. "There's more to it than that. You would never understand. You're incapable of feeling it... And we're not giving up anything. Nothing. You can go to hell for all I care. Do your worst, I'm not afraid of you."
She clearly, also, didn't remember the last time he tortured her.
Po-ar did, however.

Ainsu handed the boy the note. "This was given to Watari by the Pink Elephants." he explained. "Apparently, your parents are away for a private dinner."

The Tarnb-jin Ouji tried to shake his head, but Konton's laughter beat him to the truth.
"You're only fearless because the Ouji took your memories of torture... torture at my very hands... from your mind." the demon smirked. "He knows the darkness which awaits... can't you see the fear in his eyes?

Morrigan glanced to Po-ar, absolutely silent.
But she shook her head. "No, I don't." she answered. "My husband is braver than you give him credit for."
Whether they were married or not, she considered him so, and he needed to hear it.
Kazuhiko frowned. "Where?" he asked, looking up at Ainsu. "He asked me to tell Mum to meet him at Capsule Corps in an hour... and.... they're not there."

Po-ar closed his eyes, relieved that Morrigan wasn't giving in.
He wasn't about to let Konton win.
But the demon sighed, pulling on Morrigan's hair even harder. "You don't seem to understand, Mor-chan... this isn't a request. Give me your ki, your power... or I slit his throat and be done with it right now."

This information startled Ainsu, "Have you looked throughout the city? Maybe they went for a walk..."

"They're not on Earth, and they're not here." Kazuhiko sighed in exasperation. "I've checked everywhere. I checked Ojiisan's and Otousan's and my dimension too! Nothing! No one!"
Morrigan grew quiet, although she was trying not to wince.
"You're going to kill us anyhow." she looked up at Konton quietly. "Why should I believe you'll let us live otherwise?"

"Not even a tiny sign?" Ainsu asked, pacing slowly as he thought. "Kuso... he should have known better than to run off!"

Kazuhiko winced. "Um... Mum... Mum and Da were getting distant." he explained quietly, watching his feet. "I told him to go propose... but... I don't think Aoki took them. They were on Earth one minute and gone the next." he sighed. "I'm worried..."
He started to climb up next to Aled, starting to heal him. "Ojiisaaan.... trouble... wake up...!"
Morrigan was silent for a long time.
Give up her powers???
She sighed deeply. "Alright." she whispered. "I'll do it."

It didn't take long for Aled to regain his senses. "Kazu-kun... what are you doing here?"
"If you told them to go off alone, where else would they possibly go?" Ainsu replied, trying to come up with some logical reason behind it.

"No shoving holy flowers into my chest this time?" Konton teased, watching Po-ar's reaction.
It was clear that the Ouji wasn't very thrilled with this newest prospect.

Morrigan glared at him. "Next time we'll plant the seeds so the roots can pierce your heart." she snapped, struggling.
She wasn't exactly thrilled either.
"Da and Mum are gone." he told Aled blatantly. "I see you brought the two ladies I said to hire. Good. You'll like them, they're nice, Yuki especially." he smiled. "Watari'll like her a lot, she works hard. She'll save a lot of us. The other lady had a neat eye that sees things..." he elaborated. "Makes you want to stare at it a lot. She can help us. But lots of bad stuff happened Ojiisan. Lots. What do we do?"

Gaze narrowed, Konton tossed Morrigan forward.
His minions scrambled to chain her up just as Po-ar had been.
"We'll see how feisty you are after you feel what your lover knows." he nodded to the demons, who quickly gagged Morrigan and stuck a rather nasty looking knife into the back of her thigh.

Aled shook his head, "From what I hear, there's no trace of Po-ar, correct?"
This was tricky indeed...

Kazuhiko nodded. "No trace of either of them, I can't sense their souls anywhere Ojiisan..."
Morrigan hissed and seethed, closing her eyes tightly. The gag prevented her from screaming, and thus saved her pride; either way, this wasn't pleasant.
She already said she'd give up her powers---what the hell?!

"Aled-sama..." Ainsu began, but the Ou held up one hand.
"He..." Aled shook his head. "He's here... sort of... I... I don't know how to describe it but I sense Po-ar here, on Tarnbsei..."

Konton smirked, watching.
His gaze moved to Po-ar. "Now... do you still refuse?"
The Tarnb-jin Ouji nodded.
With a sigh, the demon snapped his fingers and another dagger buried itself in Morrigan's leg.

Morrigan winced, writhing but trying her hardest to be tough.
She was warrior stock after all. She knew how to take pain.
Her eyes burned furiously on Konton, her hatred of the demon deep and venomous.
Kazuhiko's eyes widened. "Where..." he whispered, grabbing Aled's arms. "Where???"

"I don't know." Aled whispered. "It's as if they're here... but not..."
He was clearly sensing Konton's realm, which was tied to the planet.
Of course, this realm was thousands of years into the past...
Which provided a bit of a problem.

"Now... how to lure that boy of yours..." Konton thought, pacing before his two captives.
He smirked, turning to Po-ar. With ease and grace, the demon raised a claw, placing it at the outer corner of the Ouji's left eye.
"I always liked eating the eyes best... A shame to waste them." Konton's expression grew grave. "Hold him still!"
As demons swarmed him, Po-ar tried to fight back, tried to kick at them, elbow them, do something.
But after a short time his head was pressed against the stone, unmoving.
The demon laughed, digging his claw deep into Po-ar's face.
As the Tarnb-jin cried out, blood running down his face, Konton moved back, one cat-like maroon iris eye in his claw.
"I do hope your son gets the message..." he laughed, the eye disappearing.
It would only reappear, falling from the sky, from thin air actually, right in front of Kazuhiko...
Moving forward, Konton traced Morrigan's cheek with his bloody claw. "Now, my dear... you were being stubborn, were you not?" he teased.

Kazuhiko's eyes widened, becoming silent and grave.
He knew who it was. He was quickly calculating what he'd have to do to get there, for he had seen the portals opening.
Although technically, he didn't know where, but with the eye he could find him...
Kaguyo quickly grabbed his arm. "You cannot go alone." she whispered softly. "You need help. Where are they?"
"Here but not." Kazuhiko answered gravely. "Far, far, far away from here, but here. In a way it's a land of the dead." he whispered. "No one from this land survives to tell, save one. He's out of place. I can sense him.... I think he's sorta like me Ojiisan." he glanced to Aled.
Like him, meant like Aled also.
Aoikage.
"What do we do?" he shook his head. "This is bad..."
Morrigan almost felt sick, watching Po-ar's suffering in horror.
To feel his blood upon her...
Even if she didn't call the Goddess, she wanted to use magick, to do something. They couldn't go like this. They couldn't.
She stared at Konton for a few moments before shuddering, refusing to speak.
