She sighed heavily. It was so quiet around here these days it was hard to stay lively and awake. Yawning once more she walked behind the counter to scrounge a meal out of leftovers. With a weak hope for company she began to munch on some cold pieces of ham and cheese on bread. Hoisting herself onto the counter she swung her legs humming a bit as she munched.

"destruction and fighting is but one of the choices given to us all, some of us favor its simplistic and straightforward ways of settling matters and getting what you want. sometimes, like with those thugs, violence is the only thing that they will acknowledge, humans like them deserve to be dragon fodder," Teranu responded to Aliator and Yawgmoth.
"I suppose you could say I'm making sure I'm prepared in case I ever have to face a dragon or demon, but I'm morely trying to find out what this little fellow here is,"His said, his tone was calm and refined. The tiny snake-like creature wriggled around on the table, yet keeping itself close to Teranu, so that it could dive into his pocket whenever it needed to.
Teranu turned his head to face Yawgmoth,"Lord Yawgmoth, was it? Powerful as you are, you certainly had to overcome many trials in your time in some shape or form of the word, all beings are faced with Tests, and failure usually results in harm or death, He paused breifly,
"For us Humans, our tests may seem lesser, but are no different in reality to those of other creatures. As for Humans being racist, its all to do with fear, lack of understanding, many humans currently don't understand other beings, even themselves, or how things are in the world around them, They are closed minded, if you will, but not all of us are like that. I don't begrudge your opinion of my kind, as you know you are most certainly not the only one who thinks this way"

Teranu Sighed,"I didn't believe I'd make any difference anyway, Humans never usally do," Flail's suggestion about the creature sparked a studious inspiration, some of the other books He was carrying with him were about energy manifestations and advanced technology, he brought them out, making breif ramblings under his breath: "Self aware star... let's see... Spiritual energies combined with the matter and more powerful energy from blazing stars... the manifestation slowly develops... Spirit Angels...forms of oriental dragons...powerful celestial magic..." the language of the books were foreign, but thankfully he had learned them from his time at the academy, his mutterings being translations of some of the more interesting words in book.

"Mmm yes. Many tests have been laid before us. We have conquered them all. Perhaps the reason for our arrogance. Our life span is either incredibly long or there is no end besides someone ending us. As we seem to be immune to the effects of time. Perhaps it is a racial trait, we do not know much of our race. There aren't many left." he said speaking in a calm tone back to Teranu. Unlike Flail who spoke with the typical sarcasm and bitterness that most would be heroes did this human spoke with a logical demeanor and seemed respectful of Yawgmoth's title and power which in turn made the dark titan pay more attention to what he had to say and to show the same respect back in speaking, even if he were human. Even Yawgmoth knew there were exceptions and although he despised humans as a whole group, there were a few individuals who were eons ahead of their thick headed brethren. "You, even now, defy your race by speaking in such a placid and logical manner. As far as we have known your kind they have been irrational beings of intense emotion. Emotions make them strong yes, but they almost always make them idiots as well. We acknowledge that there are a few who stand out. But on the whole, we still believe they are unworthy." he finally responded clearly stating his opinions though not meaning to insult, merely meaning to discuss the philosophy of it all. It had been ages since he'd had an intelligent conversation with anyone.

All seemed fine to him at least, until Flail opened his trap again. Smirking replied "At least we have higher brain functions boy. We think sometimes you have trouble dressing yourself in the morning." he mocked looking up for a moment and back to him. Yes, Ziven was watching...but he'd had enough. "How unfortunate for you too, we told you yesterday we were done playing nice. And now you've gone and flapped your jaws too much so, we're going to do just what we promised. Pretend that our lovely blue haired angel hadn't even shown up then. We promise when we're done with you, the last thing to go through your mind will be your teeth." he threatened standing up cracking the knuckles on each of his hands.

"Humanity's greatest trial has yet to come, And while I agree that emotions make us stronger in some sense, Idiocy only comes from those who cannot harness the power that comes from their emotions, control them, If you will," Teranu replied to Lord Yawgmoth,"Logic over emotion comes with being a mage, Emotions can cloud the mind, and need to be controlled in order to attune with mana and use magic, This is partly why mages can come from all races, and are, In my opinion, a race in their own right. Mages are are magically attuned beings with different outer shells, at least thats the belief I hold."
Teranu continued to read on, and discovered a bit about the growth and development of the Spirit Angels:
"this exctract here says: 'Spirit angels have a near infinite lifespan, but their... aging or development... process depends on the... energy or magic... of the world they descend upon, worlds like this one have enough ... mana or lifeforce... to make a Spirit angel fully develop within a single year.' thats as best as I can translate it."

*Ali adjusted his coat a little and stepped a little bit towards Yawg, watching him. A fight in the bar would make the chances for his Whiskey to be spoiled, besides it had been some time now since the last time they bashed their faces to meatloaf.* I wonder..has being cuddled by Ziven wussied you up over the years Yawg?* Ali smiled at him in a mockingly smirk, clenching his fists tightly up to the point where the knuckles cracked.*
