*flail woke with a start, blinking a few times in the dim light. he stretched his arms and wings, cracking the knuckles of his dragonkin right arm as he did so.*musta feel asleep* he mumbled and sighed and looked down at the books he had collected. they were all written about the workings of time.* i wonder how things will turn out this time....* he looked out the window and saw clouds gathering on the horizon* more storms? or just showers?

*flail ordered some dinner as he had skipped to meals already. as he waited he pulled out his pack of cigarettes and lit one. taking a drag he listened as rain began to first patter then pound down onto the roof of the bar.* such depressing weather...

(( sorry if my replies are slow and few. I have a limited time to be online each days and more often then not, I'm on, when no one else is.))
Ryu's gaze shifted to Angel as she neared him. By his custom he stood and bowed slightly to Angel when she introduced herself. "Greetings, I'm Ryu Kage. Lord of Sakura valley and the surrounding Kami mountain range." Once introduced he'd gesture to a seat at his table and ask "care to join me?" He'd wait for her to be seated before seating himself.

*flail sighed as he looked out one of the rain streaked windows. the forest beyond was only now coming to life as buds and leaflets dotted the trees* well at least the rain will help things grow...* he looked back down to his books and began reading again.*

((its raining out dude, read previous posts before hand))*flail looked up from his books and meal to the man that just entered the bar. he nodded towards him* afternoon* with that he went back to his reading.*

The loud blaring of the ever so popular music could be heard as a sleek red and black car zipped along the roads towards the bar. The tinted windows prevented anyone from seeing just who the driver of the car was. A screech of the tires annouced the car had parked by the bar finally giving someone a good look as ot what it was. For those who say their hearts would surely stop and jaws would drop at the car that cost over a mill to buy..for a red and black Bugatti Veyron was parked just outside..still having brand new plated that read "Bad Girl"
The door opened as a long leg clad in thigh high black leather boots emerged followed by another until the driver stood by her prized car and shut it, locked and alarmed and put a heavy shield only she could get into around the beast of a automobile. The female made her way into the bar making not a sound despite the heavy boots she wore, or the chains from a belt that dangled around the black leather skirt that hit upper to mid thigh. She also wore a tight fitting black leather and blood red shirt that showed some cleavage and her mid drift. . In the light her lips pulled back into a smile to reveal pointed canines as her hand reached up and pulled off the shades that hid her wolf gold eyes. Running fingers through her purple hair she made her way towards the back of the bar. At only 16 years old Natalie was drool worthy and tended to get her way. She waved ot the bar keep. "Can I have some root beer please and nachos?"

Reko looked at the reader, then the girl before giving a smirk. "Yello to you too" he muttered to the reader. He took the nearest table for himself ,both sheathes disappearing as he sat down.

*flail looked up at the newcomer, a young lady that he took to be ali's daughter. the resmblence was uncanny. as was the lack of reguard for the peace and quiet that he had come to associate with the bar* my my, such a busy day today. haven't seen this many people here for a while

Natalie quirked a brow and nodded at both of the boys, her eyes shimmering from gold and turned to bright electric blue with red and gold rings. "Hello there." As soon as her food was ready she bounded over to the bar top and snatched it up and looked around. She hadn't been in this part of town for a long while now, surprised anyone knew her. "How are you boys today?"
Her nose twitched as she nibbled some of her nachos and raised a brow. She tilted her head. "What book you reading?" She shifted her glance to Reko.

"Just peachy keen" Reko replied with a mildly sarcastic tone. He was good, but life seemed more fun when you sounded sarcastic.

*flail looked up to the young girl* "the sands of time, the workings of eternity" i've been studying time flux dragons, but due to their time shifting nature, they're quite hard to track. just looking up some useful ways of observing them without a paradox.* he flipped the page with the tip of his tail as he took out a fresh cigarette and placing it between his lips. giving the tip a gentle press with his dragonkin arm he had the tip glowing in a moment. taking a drag he blew out a fragrent cloud of smoke that drifted to the rafters.* i take it your Ali's daughter? the resemblance you share with your father is quite remarkable

Her eyes yet again changed color this time to emerald green. She chuckled at Reko and sighed heavily. "Alright, just taking a break from studying and genetic testing. Working on a new bio weapon formula." She drew a long pauses. "So nothing new.. happy to be out of the house..need to find a date for Prom and go shopping." She shook her head and finished off her plate of nachos before looking at Flail. "That sounds interesting!" Her nose twitched again at the scent of the smoke and she peered over at the book. "Maybe I can build a tracking and scanning device for you that will work. You can probably lure one to this time line or.." Her eyes went wide at an idea, but she kept it to herself. "Yes, I am his daughter..though he says I take after my mother more." She grinned a little knowing her father regretted ever saying those words to her. Loking around Natalie got up and snuck behind the bar and once more sat down with a full mug of ice cold beer and pulled out a brand new laptop from her bag since her dad destroyed the other.

*he smiled and looked to her* its Natalie, correct? well i never knew your mother well but you have an air around you that is just like your father. as for a tracking device i doubt that would work, they tend to render technology ineffective.*he looked back down to his book.* oh and time travel is a bad idea if thats what your little sparkle in your eye was about. tends to go wrong in so many ways
