*flail looked to ziven and noticed her quiet look at the topic of family but held off from saying anything.*i bid you goodnight ziven, have a pleasent night* he smiled and nodded to her as she left before getting up and stretching himself. after refolding his wings around his shoulder. he ground the butt if his cigarette into an ashtray*i think i will be retiring myself as well. i have been on the road so long it will be nice to sleep in a real bed for a change.*he gave a curt bow to ali* goodnight ali.*he turned and made his way towards the door, brushing past the new comer as he push the door open and exited into the night.*

*flail pushed open the bar doors with his shoulder as he did his best to keep the stack of books he had in his arm in place as he made his way in* anyone here? *he looked around as he made his way to a table near the dark fire place and set his books down on the table. he looked up and peered into the rafters.* i guess not... oh well gives me time to read* he grasped three logs in his right hand and tossed them into the fireplace before launching a ball of fire in after them with a flick of his left that caught the dry wood instantly.*much better.

Angel had been dozing in her throne by the fire place. The snap and popping of the fresh fire brought her to consciousness. "Hmm?"

*flail gave a start at the sound of someone waking up. he turned toward the noise and saw angel in throne.*oh, angel! its been to long, how have you been?*he smiled warmly at the illustrious leader of the guild* i hope i didn't startle you

She set up and pulled her silken hair away from her face. "Flail, I am...surprised to see you." She stretched a bit then smiled. "I thought you had been slain."

*flail raised an eyebrow at that claim and chuckled*slain? i don't recall really. maybe i was and just forgot about it and poped out of my grave.* he smiled and fed the fire a few more pieces of wood.* i hope to find you well angel, at least, better than the guild.*he looked around the empty room with a small frown.* the place seems smaller with so few people in it.

She sighed then shrugged. "So much changes in the blink of an eye, but...I am sure your aware of that." Finding herself thirsty she ordered a drink from the waitress.

*he smiled as he sat down to one of the books he had borrowed from the library*intresting how a blink of an eye can feel more like 15 years my dear angel. then again for dragon kin like myself and a vampire like you, well, 15 years is a blink, isn't it?

*he smiled and looked up from the book*studying dragons abroad and training mostly. i traveled to be alone after... my family feel apart.*his face went blank for a moment and he looked back down at the book.* i was hoping that burying myself in work and training would help me forget but i have come to realize that to forget would be to forget the lessons as well.
