Morrigan shrugged. "I haven't the slightest." she admitted. "Whatever you want I suppose, I'm just happy to be engaged." she beamed. "You know more places in the universe than I anyhow."
"Six." Shiori answered, scrambling up the stairs. "They're going to kill him!!"
An assassin quickly kicked his jaw, sending the Ou flying against the wall.
"Aoki sends his regards." he smirked, starting to summon up a ki ball.
They were going to execute him on the spot.

Aled barely manage to keep his head from impacting with the wall. He pushed himself up weakly, vomiting blood.
"You can tell Aoki..." the Ou spoke, his cat-like gaze on the assassins. "That I'll see him in hell before long."

"Yeah, I figured that." Watari replied, running up the fourth floor stairs.
One more flight and they would be on the fifth floor.
All that would remain would be to get to the room itself.

Po-ar laughed, "Somewhere secluded and romantic, perhaps? Away from everything?"

Morrigan nodded. "Hai, hai... that sounds nice." she agreed. "Somewhere warm."
The aide nodded, smirking. "I will."
But before he could blast him, Shiori had tackled him once again.
The woman had literally flown up the stairs, making like a bullet.
Just a second before he would have killed him, the woman just barely managed to save him.
The rather large hole in the wall attested to that.
But she got thrown away, an indentation spiderwebbing the wall. These were strong ones for certain...
Aoki knew what he was doing.
Aled had literally come barely an inch away from death again.

"A beach perhaps?" Po-ar asked.

"Protect the Ou." Watari ordered the guards, who quickly circled around Aled, driving the assassins back towards the balcony.
"Capture them alive..." Aled whispered, glancing to Watari, the scientist already at his side.
The blond looked up, "You hear his command. Take prisoners."
Smirking, the leader of the small guard band laughed, "With pleasure, Watari-san." he said, before leading his men against the assassins.

At the sudden arrival of the guards, many of the assassins managed to escape.
One, however, had fallen prey to another desperate attack from Shiori.
Taking the neck of the broken wine bottle, she managed to stab one of the assassins in the thigh.
"Shiori-chan, tomeru..!" Yuki rushed to her side, shaking her head quickly. "You're hurt!"
"I'm fine!" she barked harshly, although she couldn't sit up.
She groaned in pain, seething and hissing quietly.
Yuki diligently went to helping both Shiori and the Ou, the guards only able to catch one more assassin in addition to the two.
The unconscious one was easy pickings. The other two were still awake and struggling.
"What the hell happened??" Yuki shook her head. "Shi-chan, you even bring trouble with you to the Palace!" she sighed in disbelief. "Goodness gracious..."
Morrigan nodded. "That sounds nice." she agreed. "I'd like that..."

Watari was busy ordering medical personnel into the room. They carried two stretchers with them, on one, they put a rather unconscious Aled, on the other, the pained Shiori.
"Yuki-san, I take it you have medical experience?" Watari asked as they rushed the patients down to the lab. "Aled-sama will need extensive care, but I need to make sure Shiroi-san isn't in life threatening danger as well. Can I trust you, Yuki-san? Can I trust you to watch after Aled-sama while I check Shiori-san?"

"A honeymoon by the beach then." Po-ar nodded, but he blushed suddenly. "Um... Mor-chan... you many want to get off me... our dinner's getting cold..." he whispered.
She was, in effect, straddling his chest.

Morrigan flushed brightly, but she quickly helped him up and sat down, blushing deeply.
She went back to eating quietly, glancing up at him with shy, sweet smiles.
Yuki nodded. "Mmhmm. Ou-sama'll be fine." she assured him quietly, quickly checking over Aled.
"This is going to hurt." she warned, before checking his ankle. "You're lucky...Another inch and they would've broken your ankle... Very close though. This'll be easier to fix... Your ankle probably would've required surgery." she spoke gently to Aled, before setting it back in place.
She wasn't sure if that would wake him up or not, but she continued to tend to his injuries, quietly talking to him.
Shiori on the otherhand, while conscious, was bloody and bruised.
She clearly wasn't the fighter Kaguyo had been, but then again, Kaguyo had never nearly died for Aled.
Likewise, blood was dripping from her lips, her torso badly bruised.
She wouldn't be dancing for a while, hell no.

"What?" Po-ar eventually asked, his chopsticks in hand.

When Yuki set the ankle, Aled did wake.
"Kuso..." he cursed, staring at Yuki as if she were crazy. "What the hell was that for?" the Tarnb-jin Ou demanded before coughing, blood coming to his lips again.
He bit back another curse...

"Look at me Shiori-san." Watari spoke, checking her eyes to see if she had a concussion. He turned to a nearby assistant, for they were finally in the lab. "I need an x-ray of her spine. She shouldn't be coughing up blood. Not with these visible injuries."

Yuki smiled calmly. "Glad to see you awake Ou-sama." she answered quietly. "You were attacked. Shiori-chan helped save you...we're lucky we got to you when we did. They broke your shin, right above your ankle..." she informed him. "Watari-kun is checking on Shi-chan now, I guess she should be relatively ok..."
Shiori hardly moved while the assistant did as he was told, but it was later revealed that she had broken a rib that had punctured a lung.
It explained why it was so difficult for her to breathe.
She didn't talk, hardly responding after a while, swamped with the pain. She was lucky that her injuries, while severe, hadn't been worse.
Morrigan smiled, looking back to the food. "Aishiteru..." she whispered, glancing up at him again. "I'm so happy... I don't remember when I was this happy last... Kazu's birth." she decided, nodding. "Meeting you... It's one of those events. I'll never forget this Po-ar..."

Aled winced, his breathing obviously paining him. "What happened to her?" he whispered, wanting to know as many details as he could.

"No broken vertebra..." Watari sighed, carefully turning Shiori onto her back. "Shiori-san, I'll need to sedate you. I need to set your rib and fix the tear in your lung."
He wanted her permission first and foremost.

Po-ar smiled softly, "Some of the events surrounding Kazu-kun's birth I wouldn't mind forgetting... but you and him... you've made me finally care about someone other than myself."

"Just do it!" Shiori hissed, almost sick. "Itai..."
Her face was contorted; it was clearly very painful, the woman coughing up more and more blood.
The quicker she was fixed, the more likely it was she wouldn't die.
Yuki shook her head. "Watari's checking her now." she answered gently. "Although... if she was alright, it shouldn't be taking this long. She was coughing up blood... Probably a ruptured organ, punctured lung..." she shook her head. "For all we know she lost a tooth and is bleeding---we'll have to wait for x-rays. Would you like me to check?"
Morrigan nodded. "I suppose..." she murmured. "I don't remember much... just that we died... and something happened..."
He had taken the memories after all.
She looked distantly out the window, trying to remember it. "I don't know. But we came back... and that was what was important..."

Nodding, Watari placed a mask over her face.
Within moments, Shiori was unconscious and the scientist set to work.
An hour later, he had one of his medics take over.
It was time he looked after Aled.
Shiori's life was spared, for the medic was simply doing the closing and sewing.
But for the Ou...
"Check." Aled whispered, biting back a hiss.
When Watari arrived however, the Ou was clearly vexed.
"What the hell took so long?"
Watari sighed, "Shiori-san punctured a lung. If I didn't do something she would have drowned in her own blood."
Aled nodded ever so slightly, "You did the right thing..." he whispered, before blood fell from his lips again.
"Shimatta... have you been coughing it up this entire time?" he asked, quickly checking over Aled's wounds.
The Ou smirked, "Vomiting it up, actually... It's not in my lungs..." he winced.

Po-ar nodded, "Morrigan... I..." he shook his head slightly. "I have taken memories from you many times in the past... always with your consent, but... I want to know if you trust me."

Morrigan looked up, surprised. "Why wouldn't I?" she asked softly, eyes meeting his. "When haven't I?"
Yuki had been attending to the Ou, changing his bowls when he did vomit and carefully monitoring what came up.
"Liver's alright, no black bile, he'd be dead by now." she mused softly. "Looks like stomach damage though. He might have kidney damage also..."

But Po-ar shook his head, "You have. I have no reason to doubt your trust, Mor-chan... I... I just wanted to know." he frowned slightly. "It's silly really... I feared you to be angry with me..."

"I don't doubt it..." Watari replied, pressing against Aled's side.
This ellicited a sharp curse.
The scientist brought out the ki cuff key, unlocking the thing and tossing it aside. "With Aled-sama out of commission, we'll have to rely on guards to look over the palace." Watari spoke as he, likewise, put Aled under.
He began to probe the organs, the incision small but effective as he searched for the full problem.
"As it is now, anyone that attacks will have an easy time taking over. Which is why I have to make sure he gets better." Watari glanced to Yuki. "Do you know where the burned down theater once stood? The one with the brothel?"

Yuki nodded. "Hai, hai... Shi-chan auditioned there once. What of it?"
Morrigan smiled. "Just don't do it without my permission again." she answered his question. "I can forgive you of basically anything Po-ar."
