"I think it woudl be a fine idea. gives us a little muscle so to speak, and arthur gets to see a little mro eof the world and maybe appreciate how good he has it."
Idly petting over his armored zephmare.
"But do you think they'd be willing to go?"
Onyx..well...was scaring people. his eyes burned like hot coals, and people in his way got flung out of his way. his nose, his ears, everything was focused on the smell of that...thing. He was going to find it, and he was going to make it wish it had never even seen Kat.

Eliot soured imediatly at the title of "slave" and her wolf ears peaked out. They twicthed.
She snarled "Thank you for the oportunity... master." She then turned her glare on the unsuspecting Warren.

Greed, the Displacer Beast, knew that he was being tracked. The creature made alot of noise prior to his escape, and coninually raved like a loon. So, the cat did the only sensable thing, and ran into rock face, down narrow paths, and into a volcanic chamber, where sulphyr would hinder smell, and burn away scent, and the bright volcanic glow would hinder sight, which left sound, muffled by the volcano, and tracks... which were rather deep and hard to hide given the soft ash and rock face. The cat leaped and bounded down the path, until he reached an open corridore where the lava was visible in the centre. He would set a trap here, or wait out the foe. Hell, he had some of the girl in his jaws to munch on while he waited.
Warhammer snorted.
"You can go too." The captain replied.

Warren smiled. Yes. He did know. Then he blinked at Eliot. "What?"
She nearly did a backflip. Not only was her suspension period over, but she got to back to see Meilikki! She smiled happily. "A message? Yes, of course."
Moonstone was finishing cleaning off his hands when he started looking for Kat in the rest of the building. HSe wasn't in the office, or the wiating room, or tending to any patients. He pocked his head out the door, looking up and down the street and trying to smell Kat through all of the poeple running about.

Tarathiel walked up to Aella, a placed a hand behind her neck, and gently pressed his lips agains hers, in a deep and suculent tone, the captain whispered "Yar."
He stepped back, "Warhammer..." He turned his head, "Don't get yourself killed." As much of a good bye as anyone got from him. "Well, what are you waiting for... Orko, open the door for them."
The sound of a thousand souls crying out for joy echoed on the ship, before what appeared to be a large disk-like mirror that reflected a humble home in Honoursfield.
"Hurry up and go before I think of something else for you to do." He walked away, and towards where Celeste, Elric and Cedric were standing.

Eliot almost curled her lip at him.
Why is it when SHE wants to talk to Warren he's no where around but as soon as somone important needs him its like he appears from no where.
Didn't he realize that she was worried? A ship is only so big, so she got scared when she couldn't find him for hours and hours.
She gave her head a mental shaked and looked away from him. She was thinking stupid thoughts... but she was still upset at him. She turned and began walking through the gate.

She blushed. "Yes, sir." She cleared her throat and stepped through the mirror.
Likewise, Warren cleared his throat. "Lets not keep the wizard to busy," he placed a hand on Eliot's shoulder, guiding her through the mirror. He pushed her through first and looked back a moment at Taratheil. He might have said something then, but decided not to and carried on through.

Once in Honours field Eliot shrugged of Warren's hand none to nicely and ran to catch up with Aella so that she could walk beside her.
"I wonder if the oracle would like a new pair of mocosins? Maybe we could make fire proof gloves this time..."

Onyx didn't care where it went, he went after it. sulfur, radiant heat...didn't matter. he could track. and he moved in gliding leaps and bound, claws digging into rock and bounding toward that thing. he didn't care if it was waiting, he didn't care if it knew he was coming. didn't care.

Warhammer was next to step into the mirror, but felt something lurch into his back as he did so. He stumbled, and fell onto his stomach on the otherside. Cedric was laying awkwardly across his back. The minotaur laughed shallowly, for the first time in quite a while.
"Ouch" Cedric said as he tumbled off the minotaur. "Sorry about that, friend." The elf dusted himself off, and almost offered to help the minotaur up. "err, The Captain said the portal would close soon, and if I was to live up to my oath, I should hurry through." He coughed.
Warhammer gracefully stood. And simply shoke his bulvine head.
"So, that was interesting." The elf said as he checked his gear. Katana, check, short sword, check, flail, missing, quarterstaff, missing, spear, check, dagger, check, spoon, check. Everything seemed ok. He noticed his claymor was on the ground, "Wouldn't it be silly to leave that here." He picked it up. The elf and the minotaur lagged a little behind the younger trio.
Greed felt the rancor come, and laughed inwardly to himself. As the great vah stormed into the opening, the trap was semi sprung.
The pyrohydra, a seven headed monster that slumbered in the molten rock and ash, awoke with a terrible thunder, spraying liquid rock in an odd pattern as it burst from the pit. Some noisy creature had the audassity to charge into his layer, and now it was going to pay. Its body was roughly the size of a small farm house, its necks about as long as Jiscal's walls were high, and about as thick as an ancient tree. Two legs proped out of the lava, and a tail flickured on the other side.
The shadow cat faded from all sight, and displaced himself to the other side of the pyrohydra quietly, not trying to desturb him. The new Gluttony had a nasty temper.

Onyx didn't even notice. didn't care. he only dodtged molten rock, didn't even try to engage this other thing. only keeping half his attention on where it was. That was not his quarry. but he knew his quarry was in here. SO it had laid a trap. So what. It was still going to die even so. Onyx's mind was consumed by vengence...his personal safety never even entered into the equation. that thing was going to die. that's all he cared about, all he thought about. killing it. Geting to it was of course a needed part of the process...but other living things weren't even payed a thought other than moving them out of the way or keeping himself out of thier way to get to the quarry.

As much as Onyx's intent was to ignore additional dangers, the pyrohydra was not so forgiving nor carred to be understanding. Seven of its head lurched for the vah, each one releasing a volley of fiery breath in its path. The creature did not just target where the Vah was, but also around the vah. It was used to things jumping away from its breath; thus, it adopted an area attack over a target. The heads followed the flames, which they seemed to be able to see through, and bit at the black Vah.
The shadow that was Greed waited for the Pyrohydra to conciel him, before slaming some rocks above a narrow exit, causing a cavin that he gladely sleeked through, rocks bouncing around him. The pather was no fool, so he continued on his way into the tunnels.

Moonstone sniffed again, and headed up the street. Where was Kat? It wasn't like her to elave in the middle of the busy hour like that. He followed her sent all the way up the street.
Warren walked a pace beind. "What? What'd I do?" He looked back to see the elf and the minotar following after, but he didn't really know them too well, so he stayed inbetween. He sighed, no breaks for Warren.
Aella starred ahhead for a few moments before noticing that Eliot was tehre. "Mocosins? Sure, probably doesn't have much of anything anymore. She'd probably like that. How would you make it fire proof." SHe looked back and smiled at Warhammer and Cedric. Poor mintaur looked so unhappy with his goddess gone.

He merely shook his head as she went to take a skip through denial land just as she always so enjoyed doing. She really was just a trip and a half sometimes, not that he ever outwardly complained. And he didn't intend to fight with her about it either. Leaving her there a moment he went and got himself dressed up right and then returned to her. Grabbing her still damp clothes from the floor, he slung them over his shoulder and then scooped her up. "Looks like you won't be walking back..." Meaning he'd just have to carry her back. Oh well...at least he'd be getting his exercise in. "Come on Nym."
"That's what I was thinking. If anything Sevilin is a support should we need him there, and though Zahara right now is...limited...in what she's allowed to do, she would no doubt be useful...even if it's just keeping me company and share the paranoia of being in a crowd." A little tilt of her head a moment. "Arthur...well, like it or no, he's useable...and more human inclined. We're going to be around humans...so he could really come into some use." Where the hell was all this strategy coming from? She didn't plan...but then a shrug. "I know you could make Sevilin go at the very least, probably Arthur too. Zahara...well if she doens't want to go, she doesn't have to I guess..."
