Her other hand snaked around his neck and she pressed even closer to him, rubbing her face against his chest lightly. "Well I did...do..." Loneliness fled replaced by the warmth of his arms which spread quickly through her body and she welcomed the safe haven he was giving her. "You made me see how foolish my actions were and in the process I felt no better than a naughty child. It's not a fun feeling and I really don't like it at all." Pulling back lightly she glanced up at him and said softly, "In fact I felt so bad I wanted nothing more than to crawl into your lap and tell you how sorry I was...and how I'd never do it again if you just woudn't be upset with me anymore."

She watched him pet at the horses with perhaps some amusement...he wasn't one to lavish too much affection on anything side from her or Ramoth really...though his own little armor style Zephmare was quick to assert himeslf as the first reciever of Malik's attention, knowing full well that he was supposed to be keen on Malik and making sure he got the attention he was supposed to and not letting his sibling or the others soak any of it up. Of course Piper only gave the other three thier pets to make up for that. Which got a little chuckle from her before a soft sigh and a look back to Malik. "You think I shoulder take Zahara and Sevilin, maybe Arthur to this little ball thing?"

Well...this was interesting. Really really interesting. He felt wary of her, yet at the same time didn't and was just a willing participant to just be there for her. Perhaps he was doing it because if he ever had himself a break down again...well those were hard to get through alone. And like it or not, she soothed him in an odd way that he couldn't really understand.

Though he gave her somewhat of a lopsided grin. "Well...if it makes you feel any better, I forgive you. You're young, you don't want to be told no, I understand that. I'm far older and am all to used to hearing it...but I can't expect it from anyone else."

"I don't think my age matters. Even when I'm 900 years old I won't like being told no. I might react a little more grown up, but I still won't like it." She wrinkled her nose in response to his reference of her age. She wasn't that young...well okay she was. At least compared to most she was, though she and Piper were about the same age. Shaking her head before a grin wreathed her features she replied quite sassily. "I'll tell you no anytime you want Sevilin. No. No. No. If you ever feel like you don't hear it enough, you just let me know."

"Well...when you're nine hundred years old, you come find me and we'll find out then, now won't we?" He watched with some amusement as she wrinkled her nose and then launched into one of her little defiant acts, though this seemed to be one of mockery and play. Could they be that? Apparently they could.

He shook his head lightly, eyes looking down at her, then drifitng a little further down to take in the rest of her before coming back up to her own eyes. Well...seemed she was in a much better mood already. But he took an arm from around her a moment ot scribe a series of runes in the air to acivate a second circle of them around that natural pool to get it cleaned and what not. Hey, how do you think he got it uninfested of underdark things in the first place?

"You can bet I will, and then I'll be proven right which I'm sure as you know is one of my all-time favorite things on the plane." She watched his hand rise out of the corner of her eye and pulled away from him, feeling much better now that she'd been hugged and comforted. "So this is where you're going to live? Permanantly or are you intending to build a...house?" Much as she wouldn't admit it, the wheels were turning in reference to the baby. There was nothing wrong with living in a cave, she just wasn't sure she wanted her child growing up in one. But it's not yours. Her mind liked to remind of her this at the most inopportune times and she merely pushed the thought away then waited for his answer.

His attention returned to her as she moved away from him, for apparently she was done with him and didn't need his comfort anymore, back to her old self he could say. Though he raised an eyebrow at her at her question and lightly crossed his arms. "Yes, this is where I'm going to live....and who says a cave can't be a house...when I'm through with it then you won't know the difference...I'm just working out the skeleton structure right now." A raised eyebrow and a smirk. "Didn't hear you complaining about the eventual bathroom..."

She held up her hands and shook her head. "Far be it from me to say anything of the sort. You can carve your name into rocks, making a cave into a house is no problem for you I would assume." She glanced around at the room they were in and nodded. "I like it. Nice and spacious." Of course her hand came up to covertly stifle a yawn. Reverie was calling yet again, dammit. She was getting sick and tired of having to rest all the time. "I'm sure it will be perfect..."

"Flattery will get you nowhere." He watched her a moment, trying to cover up indications that her mind wanted her back in reverie. She wasn't as slick as she thought she was really. "Yes, it will...for my tastes anyway and that's all that matters. Will just be me and mine here anyway, who cares if anyone else likes it..." But he raised an eyebrow to her before sighing lightly. "Would you like me to take you back to the fortress so you can get some rest?"

"It's the truth, not flattery but I"ll keep that in mind." Zahara nodded. That was true, it would just be him and the baby living here. No one else and the baby wasn't goign to offer any objections to a cave for a home. Her mind was shoving and she was fighting it but her gaze met his briefly when he honed in on it. "No." she said stubbornly. "I'm fine." And she was going to be dammit, she could beat her mind. Hmm...maybe not. Blinking a few times, she swayed, a little unsteadily and finally sat down leaning her head back against the rock wall. "I don't need rest...just fine..."

Moonstone hadn't had time to turn away from what he was doing when the shake struck. He had no choice, really. His arns were bloody to the elbow, a white cloth had been tied around his snout, and his sleeves were rolled back as far up as the could go. What was he doing now? Cleaning off a newborn with a towel. The mother was exaughsted, but he'd have to look after her in a minute. Clean the child, hand it to mother, start cleaning mother. Luckey for him they had set up this small room (the 'maternity ward') just last week. The teenage girl had just thanked him for the delivery, and appologized for the father not being home to help.

Aella looked to the wisp who had been comanding so many things of her, and she would have rushed to help if she could have. But her staff, after having stopped working, suddenly worked too well. Sometimes it would kick up windstorms so violent that the blue the Integrity off course, sometimes it seemed as if a stream of wind came from the staff itself, and Aella couldn't get near it to try to turn it off.

Eliot hung her head over the railing of the Integrity. She had just finished throwing her lunch into the deep abyss below her. The ship was rocking again... at first it hadn't bothered her but more and more she had been feeling closterphobic and slightly uneasy. and lately she couldn't keep a meal in her stomach for to long. anytime the ship turned so did her stomach.

When were they going to land?

"I see you haven't earned yer sealegs quite yet, eh Lass?" THe Captain asked her with a rather friendly voice, given that she was not drow and he most certainly hated that fact. "Can you muster enough courage to fetch me that mageling you're holding on too, and me Whirlwind?" He asked nicely. Maybe too nicely, but that would be because he never seemed to have that tone anymore.

Warhammer lumbered over to where the girl-wolf and Tarathiel were leaning against the rail, "What brings you here, Captain?"

"Oh, I have this most wonderful feeling, like several years of stress has been lifted from me."

"How many Mariliths did it take, sir." Warhammer's voice was almost callous, as callous as he ever has been.

"I don't know, I lost track." The captain lied. Turning back to the sick, "Drink this." He handed her a small green vial, "It cures sickness." He wasn't lying.

not really in the mood for nice...nice whatever he was. she looked at the vial shrwedly but drank it anyways.

"I'll do anything for you if it gets me off this ship..." Blinking at her already settled stomach she set off to find Warren and Whirlwind. She tucked her face wrap up as she went, her lis flet cracked from the sea air and the cool silk of the fabric was refreshing.

Warren, as it seemed was not far away at all. She tapped his shoulder.

"Warren the captian would like a word with you, and have you seen Whirlwind he wants her to."

Warren, loloking much stronger and healthier than he ever had before, pointed to the poop deck, where Aella was struggling with her staff. She was holding it, and it seemed to be blowing in her face. Warren blushed. ((I wonder why...)) "Um, I'll get her."

The blowing suddenly stopped, and Aella looked windblow, of course. Warren tapped her shoulder, she obliged with a 'hmmm?"

"captain wants to see you."

She gave the whips a look. "Okay, I'm coming." Hop, skip, and a jump and they were waiting to here what the captian hat to say.

"Hello, My slaves." What a wonderful way to great someone, "I have a wonderful task for you, and if you complete it, i'll probably never bother you agian." He paused, waiting for the cheers, but didn't really wait to hear any. "I need you to keep a close eye on Meili-- the Oracle. I have seen signs that someone wishes harm upon her, and I know that I can trust you, or some of you, or maybe just Aella, to protect her. Since you don't have your sea legs," Tarathiel pointed at Eliot, "I thought this might place you somewhere useful, and you..." Pointing at Warren, "You... well, you know... Anyway, I want you to go to Lost-- Honoursfield, and protect Meilikki... I mean the Oracle."

"Oh, and Aella. I have a message I want you to give Meilikki." He smiled.
