Shoujian looked over and smiled. "I think I know who to help....just be ready for it." He dashed towards a wolf, drawing his sword. The wolf prepared itself, but was taken aback when Shoujian jumped onto the beasts shoulders. He jumped off the wolf's shoulders, knocking the poor thing for a face plant, and looked down at what he thought might have been the middle of the battle. He forced his hands in the direction of the ground, causing a large gust of wind to hit the ground and mushroom outwards. It blew everyone not strong enough to withstand it to the ground, and removed the fog surrounding the area. Shoujian landed on the ground, his left knee on the ground.

Araris was down to two opponents, both of which were quite obviously much more skilled than the rest of the attackers. Armed with only his sword and shield, this wouldn't be easy. One of the wolves rushed him, feinting a quick swing at his legs, then bringing the blade upward in a vicious cut. Araris saw the feint for what it was, and had the block in place before the wolf had begun the real attack, but was very much surprised to find the other wolf jumping onto the back of the other, with a heavy downward cut aimed right for Araris' head. Rari had just enough time to leap back, avoiding the attack altogether. Now the wolves both rushed him together, one swinging high, the other cutting low. In the Narrow alleyway, there was very little room to go, so Rari went the only logical way. He went up. Rari soared up above the wolves, the Alley suddenly filled with raging winds. He soared up, and over them, landing behind them. He spun, swinging his left arm wide, and released the straps on his arm, sending the shield flying, spinning through the air. The shield had been specially made for Araris, and was balanced just for such a occasion. The edges of the shield had also been sharpened, so, when that shield met one unfortunate wolf square in the back, it was the wolf's flesh, and then backbone, and then it's internal organs that were on the loosing end of that collision. This wolf slumped to the ground, dead. The other wolf howled and spun about, charging Araris with a series of quick, precise attacks. Araris blocked or dodged each of these, if however closely, and was able to make a few counter-attacks of his own, each of which were blocked. As the wolf's attack started to fade, Araris changed the pace of the fight, and started making as many attacks as he was receiving. He made two short stab's to the wolf's chest, then a low cut, all of which were blocked, blocked several attacks of his own, and then brought his blade high, wielding it with both hands, and brought the blade down on the wolf's head with all his might. Of course, the wolf had expected this, and had the proper block in place. what the wolf didn't expect was that of it's blade breaking in two. Nor did it expect Araris' sword plunging into it's skull. Of course, it didn't have much time to ponder that turn of events in hindsight, as it died almost immediately.

Shoujian looked up from his position on the ground. He saw a couple of wolves starting to get up, obviously better prepared than the rest of them. He threw his sword horizontally, catching the wolf in the side with the blade forward. It embedded itself into the beast's side, and Shoujian ran forward, following the sword. As it landed in the side of the wolf, Shoujian grabbed his other sword and spun around. His sword cut effortlessly through the wolf's throat. As he turned, he realized there was one wolf that had followed him. It grabbed him by the neck, rose him off the ground, and slammed him hard onto the ground.

It took Araris planting his feet on the wolf's head, and pulling with all his might to get his sword out of the wolf's skull, and it took a similar amount of effort to retrieve his shield. Araris wiped most of the gore from his Weapons on the coat of the wolves he'd slain. After strapping his shield back on, he ventured wearily back into the street, only to find that the fighting had moved on to other parts of the city. Rari spotted the wolf he'd taken out with his Spear, and retrieved that from it's throat, too. Just as he did so, a Mounted patrol came charging around a corner, spears at the ready. Only when they saw that Araris was an ally did they halt. As he looked at them more closely, Rari could tell that these men had already seen action. Two of them were wounded, all of them showed signs of battle. They even had a spare horse; Who's rider obviously hadn't survived. After explaining who he was, and mounting the spare horse, Araris and the other men(About 8 or so.) charged off, to new areas of battle.

Shoujian quickly regained his composure and moved his head to the side, narrowly avoiding a set of claws. He sighed, and kicked the left ankle of the wolf. THe surprise on it's face showed that his tactic had worked, as the poor beast lost it's footing. Shoujian rolled out from under the wolf, jumped up, and grabbed the reins of a passing horse. The poor soul that lost his life, provided Shoujian with his salvation. He turned around, pulled back on the reins, and let the sharp hooves come down on the werewolf. (They are werewolves right?)

((No, I don't think so.. =/ Good question..))
Araris and the men rounded another corner, following a line of bodies, both friend and foe alike. Around the corner, was more of the battle. By now it was obvious to everyone involved that the wolves couldn't win, and yet they still fought on. Araris set his grip on his spear, and nodded to his fellows "Charge!" With a shout, they charged into the fray, adding to the frantic chaos. Now, while the wolves had the upper hand to the average foot soldier, due to their sheer size and strength, they weren't accustomed to horses. Actually, they weren't accustomed to any animal larger than them. Araris and his men formed a tight wedge, charging straight through the middle of the street. The few men left on the ground were smart, and moved to the side of the street. The wolves, however, weren't so smart, and decided to meet the charge head-on. Araris speared the first unfortunate wolf in his path, the spear ripping through it's throat, then he made two deft strokes, cutting deep into the side of another wolf on his left, then slicing into the back of the neck of the one on his right. They charged down the street, leaving only dead bodies in their wake. After they got to the end of the street, and turned around, ready for a second charge, the infantry had already finished off the survivors.

Shoujian turned in the direction of the cry for help. He turned his horse in her direction, and charged forward. As he closed the distance, the wolves turned to look at him. They scattered as he barreled into a few of them. He leaned down, and grabbed Kitt. He yanked her up, pulling her over the horse. When he finished pulling her on, he realized that He should have grabbed her another way...As it were, he had slung her over the horse, in front of him. He reared back the horse, and they moved to the centre of the village.

Araris and the men with him continued through the town, getting joined here and there by stray cavalry men. They were killing wolves left and right, and only lost three or four men. Araris fought like a Demon. One minute, he'd be seen in the chaos, stabbing a Wolf through the heart with his spear, the next, he'd be on the other side of the street, cutting the legs out from a pair of wolves, then trampling them to death with his horse. He seemed untouchable. Araris had returned to the Clan, and he couldn't have arrived at a better time.

"Well I didn't think we should be fighting all alone.....so I think we should find the main army, and go from there." Shoujian looked in the direction of Araris. He pulled up in front of Araris, and held his sword above his head, in a sign of peace.

Shoujian moved the horse forward a little bit to avoid the corpse hitting the horse. He looked down at the young girl that was riding with him. "Take the horse, and see if you can talk to him.....I'm going to hold the front...." He jumped off, "Just bring help as soon as you can, all right?" He smiled, and ran off, back into the fight, near the city walls.

Araris nodded a greeting to Shoujian, having littletimeat the moment for formalities. Rari was, by this point, obviously exhausted, as were the men around him. But they were the Wind Clan's finest, and they showed no sign of slowing down. The Riders charged back into the fray, leaving Chaos, and death in their wake. This time, however, Rari was not with them. Rari was charging up the City's wall, fighting the whole way. This was the East Wall, the area that was hit the hardest, and was currently under control of the Enemy. That was, for the moment. Araris and his men would soon change that.
