WATER GUN RACE
At this point... he had to wonder. Was Miasma even trying? Aiming the gun wasn't that hard? She was a reaper, and well... yes she specialized in familiars. But weren't they supposed to be better with weapons?
Right? And even he could aim this one!

DUCK POND
It had taken quite a while, and the night was over halfway over, but Shine had finally arrived at prom. She still appeared heavily uncertain, wringing her hands with every step she took; having promised two dances, she doubted that she was feeling confident enough to do...well, any of that. Even saying 'hi' felt a little difficult right now.
She fidgeted in her dress and picked at her stockings, taking step after unsteady step towards the games. These could make her feel better, right? Something easy? And prizes?

WATER GUN RACE
Well she was pretty good with a mallet? Sadly, that said nothing for her aim as at that point it seemed like Molan could have dropped the gun and the balloon might have popped.
Instead he just kept aiming at the thing and watched it explode. Because water explosions were fun. "Well... that's... done?" Could he really say she tried?

Miasma did a small clap to congratulate Molan for winning, and then... realized she should probably tell him what had been bothering her the entire time. It wasn't fair for him to be the at the brunt on her emotional lash-outs.
"Um... here." She offered her phone to Molan, where it displayed the most recent received texts, and turned her head away, still ashamed for letting something like that get to her.
"It's silly, I know, but I..." No, no excuses. She was... she didn't even know.

Accept it? Maple's confusion seemed to shift back to her date at his offer of the duck, she hadn't realized they were able to keep these sweet little guys (maybe that was why this one was upset? So many missed chances?). "A.. alright," she nodded as she emptied the remaining bits of liquid that were still in her failure of a treat for the boil. The little duck slid down into its depts, confusion growing in its many little eyes.
"I.. I'll t-try," unless someone came and demanded it back, it would just be her luck. And it was probably her's that she remained oblivious to how AJ was reacting to this moment. So confused was she.
"S-shall w-we g-get t-to m-more g-games?"

RING TOSS
So far so good. None of the ducks had done anything weird, and Shine had actually won something! She ducked past some of the other promgoers and curiously sought out another game. This one looked fairly harmless...

Ahem. Games aside, apparently now he was going to find out what he'd be yelling at his brother over. They'd backed up a few paces from the booth so as to be out of the way of others before he took the phone that was handed to him. Silly? But if she was so upset over it, it couldn't be that silly.
And for the record, Miasma's phone was very ghoul-y. His was just set to most of the generic out of box settings. That aside, back to reading a text.
...
And then there was staring. Sure enough, right below the bit about the fountain there was another text. One he'd have never written. Because seriously. Grammar. At least get THAT much right Etzer. "I... well-" Yes, well. Now he had a new question.
Was she angry it wasn't him that sent the text, or angry over the fact such a text had been sent in general? Or perhaps both? And if both... which was she more angry over. "That... was definitely, Etzer." He at least confirmed, slowly holding the phone out for her to take back as he tried to figure out what else to say. Nope. Nothing was coming, so rather than speak up he merely glanced off sheepishly, probably as flustered as she'd been initially. Even if he didn't send it, that was why she'd been so worked up?

HELL'S BELLSGnomes usually were bad news for Shine, but this one seemed mostly uninterested in her. Actually, he seemed mostly uninterested in anything, to be fair. He said something to her about trying her luck, which she really, really didn't want to do. She wasn't lucky. Not even kind of. But a quick glance around at the other games proved that they were a bit busier than this one, and it would help her waste some time without running into anyone, she supposed... She picked up the mallet and tested its weight with intrigue, shifting it from palm to palm. Something like this was unfamiliar, but not bad, really. Frowning, she raised the mallet to strike the lever, which resulted in a loud DING and a lot of commotion. She dropped the mallet with a jolt and covered her ears, eyes wide - until the gnome, after trying unsuccessfully to get her to select something on her own, shoved a large blue dragon in her direction. Slowly, she moved her hands from the sides of her face and reached to take the stuffed dragon, clutching it against her chest. The gnome got a little twitch of a smile as she turned to shuffle away, rubbing her cheek against the dragon's cloth head.

She flustered, lowering her head as he confirmed what she already suspected. "Yah, I know... I mean, your grammar isn't that atrocious. I don't... know what I was thinking, getting so worked up about something so silly..." The ghoul laughed sheepishly, as she reached her hand out, asking for the phone back.

Olivia hadn't picked up on it right away, but she did seem to sense some non-hostility from Mjoll after explain what type of creature Andrew was. No frowns, no comments, The horsemen seemed totally okay with it.
Enough to be the pleasure of their company and extend an invitation to join her in travels to the tent. Olivia gave an enthusiastic nod, she hadn't been to the tent in some time and getting the chance to dance seemed like it would be a lot of fun. Of course she wasn't going to pass it up.
Sparkle eyes to Andrew, they were begging him to agree.

RING TOSS
Danny stepped up to the ring toss, fully intending to play the game.
Except then two ghosts who thought they were funny started throwing the rings at her horns as a hilarious joke. She got distracted and began a wild goose chase to beat them up. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) no one was pummeled that day.

BALLOON POP
The same thing happened at the balloon station. While she pulled the rings off her horns, the same two ghosts ambushed her and began throwing the darts.
Needless to say, none of Danny's hit the board, and instead went on to hit the posteriors of two ghosts.

And thus the phone was deposited into her hand without too much more of a word. "Er... right." No. Don't ask why she was angry. Don't ask to clarify. Even if you're curious do- "He... probably thought it would be funny, because I don't get closer to people much." Ok, well. Good. One land mine sort of averted. Even if he still wanted to know.[A.V.] It's ok. He'll ask and there will be explosions. He will. Soon.
