Yeah that was just my Three HQs. I had a Sergeant with a Power fist and plasma pistol, a Chapter Champion with a Power Sword and Bolt pistol, and Apothecary with a bolt pistol and powerweapon, and a standard bearer with a power weapon. Each of them got 3-4 attacks, all power weapons! Fear it with a great fear.

ne interesting thing, I picked up Guardsmen as my second army yesterday. I got 10 Guardsmen and a Chimera transports for like 25 bucks so, I'm happy for a start.
I'm thinking about making a regiment that was just discovered by the Imperium. This Group of people actually found the Imperium I guess. Lost out in the western fringe for almost 5 thousands years and kept to their own devices they have created huge advances in technology. And their discovery of the warp has lead them straight to the Imperium because one of their ships psycers followed the light of the astronamica Their Soldiers have advanced personal Body armor that even the alien Tau and Eldar admire.
To Represent this they will get the Carapace Doctrine increasing their armor save to 4 plus, and the Mechanical augmentation or whatever it is to give them all a 6plus Invulnerable save. Each Suit of body armor is equipped with a built in shield generator that can stop the largest and heaviest of weapons.
So all my guys will have a 4+/6+, and then they might take grenadiers, and Sharpshooters. I don't know what I want for my other doctrine point.

Hmm interesting Dart, i would love to play your army... After i get my Chaos space marine army or my necrons. Cuz i just hate playing enemys that can DS. I played some one that Drop poded his intire army, and it sucked. Necrons are cool, not so many rules that you have to go through with them... the lots of rules are just for the HQ...

Okay I think my Doctrine points will be as follows.
Techno Armor: Counts as: +3 Doctrines 1. Carapace 2. Cameleoline 3. Cyber-Enchacments
So my guards will have 4 plus armors saves, 6 plus invulnarble saves, and +1 to all cover saves!
Those guys are going to end up lasting long I hope.
Harsh Training Regiment: +1 Doctrine 1. SharpShooters
My Guard with 3 BS will get to reroll failed to hit rolls on a 1.
Elite Stealth Troops: +1 Doctrine Point 1. Light Infanty
Now all my troops will be able to Roll Additonial Dice through rough terrian.
Take Snipers instead of heavy weapons.
And Infiltrate.
So I can put these guys behind cover, so they all get massive cover saves.
