Anna felt an uncomfortable defiance when she was referred to as Hotaru's lady. It made her sound as if she belonged to him, and Anna did not belong to anyone. Even when she was in the Heartless, if she was told that she was their property, she might have left all the sooner. "I am Anna," she said with a hint of rebel in her voice. "Just Anna."

Italia flashed her a smile half bemused, half apologetic.
Jack rubbed the tip of one of his impossibly long philangies agaisnt his boney temple. "Seal the world? Again? I wasn't aware they could become unsealed." He mused. "But that would explain the Heartless causeing trouble again." He growled.
Italia shrugged. "As long as Oogie Boogie doesn't come back for round three we're good."
"Indeed. Well come on fella's." He paused looking at the group. 'Fella's didn't seem like the best choice of words seeing as there was only two, well one an a half among them that was a male. "We'll start with Dr. Finklestien he may have something for us to go off of."

"Dr. Finklestein," Anna mused inaudibly to herself. 'Now why does that sound so familiar?' "Is he a scientist? Or something close?" she asked following Jack.
"Dear, we'll soon need a more specific direction than 'that way'" Sir informed, which, of course, didn't help Sarah at all.
"If she would just use her powers! Just the tiniest little thing!" Sarah said frustrated. "Give water to an ant! Something!" Sir smiled widely.
"If she was actually close enough to hear you, Sarah, we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place." Sarah glared at him unbemused. "Oh, come on love. The power Anna gives off has a very unique feel. If you've been keeping taps on her then you should be able to identify this distinction." She shook her head.
"It's not enough. It's like whatever is giving it that uniqueness is still buried inside of her."
"Well what about Hotaru?" he offered. "We are suppose to find him and Anna will most likely be with her lovebird anyways." She shook her once again.
"I'm still not use to his power, I can't tell it apart yet, despite how different it is."
"Well there must be something! I know full well that none of us have seen the extant of your power, so tap into the brute thing and find her!" Sir looked strangely serious and, although to any who didn't know him, it may have sounded mad, it was actually suppose to be a pep talk in order to restore her confidence. That was just how good Sir was with other people's feelings. Sarah took in a deep breath and nodded as she closed her eyes. 'Anna... Anna... There are several unique things about you, but you know that, don't you? You're keeping them hidden. Is that it? Is this just a game of hide and seek? I just need to find a way to draw them out, to make them obvious to me... that's all...' She sat completely still for a minute or two, eyes closed and taking in deep and slow breaths. Suddenly she flickered open her eyes and looked straight out of the gummy. "Halloween town," she said levelly. Sir looked quite pleased.
"See love? I told you could do it."

Hotaru shrugged. "Yeah....who knew......" He shook his head and smirked. "Sure.....and Anna....with a name like Dr. Finkelstein, I would hope he's something close to a scientist......." He got a far off look for a second. "Hmm.....must be imagining things...." He looked at Jack. "Well, lead the way.....oh, and I would love to get a quick tour of the town sometime." He flashed a grin. '.....that was...uncomfortable....I coulda sworn it was her.....but it just disappeared......must be getting paranoid in my old age....'That thought brought the smirk right back to his lips.

"Indeed he is! The greatest in all Halloween Town!" Jack cheered walking across the town square. "Recently he's been very busy theroizing ways to possibly release Axel from inside Italia."
the girl perked up sprinting to reach the kings side. "Has he found anything?"
Jack stopped looking down at her. "Afraid not. It seems that without knowing what Axel wat like before he became part of you there's no way of knowing which parts to seperate and which not." Italia sighed falling back. "however he has been trying to come up with a way to locate the heart of the world, since it seems to change every so often."
"I guess that makes sense." Zero muttered. "If it's doesn't stay still it can't be found as easily." She scowled. "Why is he looking for a way to fin dthe Heart of the world?"
"Why so we can protect it of course!"

Hotaru gave a sigh, and looked around. 'There it is again......damn....I really must be tripping out....' "That's great for you two." He gave a halfhearted smile at Italia before going back to his own personal musings.

Hotaru looked at her confused for a second. "I just thought that him having his own body was a goal for you two." He gave a shrug. "Unless you want to keep him inside you?" He just shook his head. "Sorry. I'm not really sure what's going on right now..." He smirked. "Not entirely paying attention....." He looked up at the sky. "Keep feeling something a little too familiar. Just flashes though, and it's really throwing me off my game."
((No worries. I've got interviews and all sorts of stuff going on that I don't remember at this point in time, this weekend, so my posting will be erratic.))

Anna looked concerned at Hotaru and then turned her attention back to Jack. "I wouldn't be throwing around the information that you're trying to find the Heart of the world. I'm almost completely sure you can trust anyone here, but you shouldn't. After all you only really know Italia and Axel here, the rest of us could be evil. We're not, at least I hope. I'm just trying to say that I know far too many people who would kill for that information." She then looked back at Hotaru and whispered quietly to him, "How is it familiar?"

He merely shook his head. "Don't worry about it Anna." He then looked at Jack. "And as long as I'm here, I'll make sure to burn almost anyone who tries to steal the heart of your world." He was smirking momentarily before giving a brief sigh, and pulling Anna away from the group. "You know how you can feel the difference in energies. Like you can simply sense someone you're familiar with based on the energy their body carries.....well, it's like someone came into contact with my......with Sephira." He shook his head. "But I ain't 100% on that, simply cause I've only pulled enough dark energy to change my appearance, so my sensing capabilities aren't as on par as they were back in Radiant Gardens." He gave a shrug. "Don't tell anyone though. I don't want to freak the group out....I'll know for sure if they get closer. Family is something you don't forget.....no matter how much you want to...." He gave a sigh. 'I just seriously hope it isn't her.....out of the three....that's the one I truly don't want to cross blades with.....'

Anna looked at him seriously. 'Sephira, huh? It couldn't... I wonder... Yes, that makes more sense.' She gave her best smile to him and took his hand. "I forgot something," she started to explain. "I need to go get it. Stay with the group, please. Keep them safe, okay? I'll be... I'll be back." She smiled up at him for a moment and gave him a peck on the lips before she turned and left.
"How much longer?" Sarah asked tapping her fingers on the controls, annoyed.
"Patience, love," Sir said almost all-knowing. "We can only go so fast. Maybe if we complete the mission well, then we can get a faster ship, but until then we will have to make do. We should be there by tonight. Fast enough, dear?"
"No," she said impatiently. She placed her hands on the controls and tapped into the energy of the ship. Within moments they were landing at Halloween Town.
"Marvelous!" Sir said with a grin and sparkle in his eye. "Maybe we won't need that new ship after all! But it's a pity, too. I had quite a fun game we could play." Sarah scowled at him as they opened the door and exited the ship.
"Took you two long enough," Anna commented as she leaned against a hallow oak, her arms crossed across her chest and her eyes closed and cast to the ground. She looked up at them, annoyed.
"It would have taken us longer, but Sarah here is apparently handy with gummy's," Sir explained. Anna looked at Sarah with pure hatred in her eyes.
"So you're the one to blame again." Spite fell off of Anna's words in bucket loads. "Let me guess. Your little guardian here spilled the beans and now you've come to take us all back?"
"Oh, love! You are such a good guesser!"
"And what's to stop me from destroying both of you right now?" Anna asked, her sword appearing from nowhere.
"Reinforcements," Sir explained casually. "You, yourself said that my death would stir up much dirt. And besides, there's this neat little button in the ship and when I press it alerts others to come and help me. Oh they would love it here. So many things to destroy, so many people to terrorize." He gave a sickly charming smile. Anna looked levelly at the two, as if considering something. Sarah looked from her to Sir.
"Why can I hear her sword whisper," she asked quietly to Sir. Anna looked shocked and the sword disappeared.
"If I come with you," she asked through gritted teeth. "Will you promise to leave Hotaru and the others alone?"
"Of course," Sir promised with a devilish grin. He stepped aside and gave a graceful movement to the door. Anna straightened her back and walked into the ship with her head held high. Once she was in and out of ear shot, he turned to Sarah and whispered, "Leave a note for Hotaru. Once he finds out his beloved has been taken, he'll come running, and his group might possibly follow. But hide it. I don't want him coming right away." Sarah nodded and set out to follow the order. Sir entered the ship and looked Anna over. "My, my! Look at you! Hair curled, wearing a dress, and make-up! Well I didn't think it possibly but you looked even more beautiful. And you're 21. You know that that means." Anna looked at him disgusted as he said a bit it too pleased. Sarah entered the ship and sat down in the co-pilot chair. Once the two others sat down they took off. "Shall we take the long way?" Sir asked. "I know a game that is even better with two women." Sarah looked at him disgusted and put her hands on the controls again. Within moments they were landing at HQ. "Party pooper," he commented bitterly. "You never want to play." He opened the door and told the man who ran up to tell the heads that he had a gift. He ran off to obey. 'Remember your promise, Hotaru,' Anna thought. 'Two days. Two days before you try to safe me. That's all I need.'

((Here's an update on the 1000 post surprise I told you about. It looks like it might have to wait until tomorrow. They're in the oven right now but they take several hours too cool in the refrigerator. I might be able to finish them tonight, but don't get your hopes up. And because I always feel so awkward doing side chats without any role playing...))
Anna stepped out of the ship and looked around. You'd think that after all these years it would at least change a little. It hadn't. "Come, loves," Sir beckoned. "I am so anxious to show the heads their little gift. I sure hope that messenger isn't tallying. The sooner I can show them you, Anna, the better." Anna looked down at him with cold, furious eyes. Sarah took her arm to get her to move and she yanked it out.
"Don't you touch me," Anna hissed. Sir gave a hearty laugh.
"Now, now you two, be nice," he chimed. As Anna followed him, memories flashed into her head. The first time she trained, the first life she took, when she let go of all her emotions to become a cold, unfeeling killing machine. At least was her excuse for becoming emotionless, the truth was that she just couldn't stand just feelings anymore. But not all the memories were bad. There was the first time she met Bobby, and there was finally hope for Anna again. A hatred burned in her eyes as she looked straight a head boldly, going to met her former so called teachers and caretakers.

[Wait Anna's 21 and Hotaru's 17!?!? Jail BAIT!!]
'Italia?'
The girl blinked scowling, something about the tone of his voice made it sound bad. "What's wrong?" She whispered under her breath.
'I...' He scowled closing his eyes. 'I'm not entirely sure. But somethings wrong.'
Italia stopped abruptly, causing Zero to bump into her. "Hey!" Zero blinked, the older ebonyed haired girl. "Uhhh... Italia?"
The girl ignored her. "What do you mean wrong?" She murmured, trying to keep her voice inaudible to to the others.
'Anna,' Italia scowled. 'You have an uncanny ability with people. Can you still sense her?'
She closed her eyes again. "No, I thought she just went out of range."
'I would have thought so too. If not for the small dark spike I felt.'
Italia cast a brief glance at Hotaru and Zero. "Neither of them seem to have felt it."
'They have hearts.' Italia flinched.

((Haha. smile Shh... No need to involve the cops, now sweatdrop ... That's just four years. My grandparents have many, many more years between them. biggrin
