Technically it's my secondary screen. But it lets me keep conversations, tools, and whatnot off to the side while I'm working on something. And I realized that now that I've been using two for a while, it's damn near impossible to work with just one again.

welcome back to the world of muggles.
i could probably get a second screen for things like that, putting my printer/scanner on the floor, but eh. i could likewise hook it up to my tv if it [the tv] had hdmi ports, which it doesn't.

On the one hand I could get a really long HDMI and hook it up to my TV, but it's kind of inconvenient to turn 90 degrees to work on things. So that's probably out of the picture.
I have another TV, but it's also heavy, I have no stand, and I can't wall mount it. And there's no space. Probably best to wait it out and buy a new monitor.

Ecks X i don't know. i'm with vin on this... you say a lot of stuff from [apparently] random sources that don't exactly make sense if you're not in The Know. besides, i'm showing up here a lot less and miss a lot of the conversations now.
sengoku and basara are two arcade games, fighting and shmup respectively. they both are set in feudal japan, basara more than sengoku, i think.
well if it's not sengoku and basara teaming up to beat each other down, as the X CROSS in the name might suggest, then i'm not going to mention it again. I don't know what Basara is, but I know what you mean by Sengoku now. I've played that game. But no, tha'ts not it. I don't know what X Cross means, it's probably a guilty gear-ish thing. It's not "Sengoku and Basara" though. It's just "Sengoku Basara". It's the name of the game series, which was renamed Devil Kings in America. It's a Capcom franchise. ...which sortof makes me wonder why Arcsoft made the game for them.

I passed a guy that looked just like Darth today.
Tall, muscled, long hair that was down to the bottom of his shoulder blades.... AND he had a Metallic shirt on.
How coincidental is that? xd

you know if you press and hold the right shift button for more than 10 seconds it will reset some control thingy?

I think I did that shift key thing for a bit, because a couple of times I ended up switching the language that I was typing in.
Which sucks, since it uses grammar type commas and such for the accents for the words.
Thanks anyway, I'm gonna keep trying.
