Once you "log in" you have to go to the announcement and click on the link to the New Profile System. It'll take you to where you can play around with the features.

Yeah, that was my problem too. Since nothing else was working, I figured "what the hell?" and clicked it.

Hehe, took me a while to figure it out. I'm not liking the new profile system... mainly because it really does spoil my plans for my shop to include a profiles section.
