In a few hours, the doorbell will ring adn the trick or treaters will be there.
I grab some sweeties from teh bowl and hand them over, making sure not to say they've been hanging around for three or so years. xp

We have nothing but asshat kids around here that are stupidly old to trick or treat, so my dad screws the letterbox shut (so they dun put s**t through it), opens the downstairs bathroom door and keeps it open (which blocks any light from the kitchen from being seen from outside) and turns the doorbell off (..hope you dun need me to explain that).
Seriously, he isn't evil or anything.. he just really hates the wankers around here. Then again he'd probably not do anything if all the kids were future saints either, but that is only because we British generally do not give that much of a s**t about Halloween. At least not compared to you filthy Americans! =p
You'll have to excuse me now, but my tea is ready and I have a fresh scone that won't butter itself! *chortle*

Towns Trick-or-Treating is really, really slow. And the gifts are seperate from shops ToTing.
