"No I don't think he will..." She probably wouldn't let him. Loved her parents and all but who honestly wanted to be fawned over constantly, not to mention that she'd probably get enough of that on Malik's part in due time. But a little shrug on her part. "Who knows, things will come as they come...and it's not like it's going to be horribly exciting." At least not for six months or so.

She almost felt sorry for Arthur. Between lessons with Sevilin and lessons with Malik the elf was certainly going to learn crucial skills to survive. It was good for him though, even knowing it would probably be highly frustrating in the beginning and wouldn't come easy for a while. She highly doubted Arthur had the magical ability of either she or Sevilin so it would take more work for him to master the simple concepts that she had discovered on her own. Like meditation and basic elemental spells. She still remembered playing, or as close to playing as a drow child could get when the sparks had drifted from her fingers. Amazed and a bit worried she'd taken a little while and figured out how she'd done it, teaching herself to harness her own magical ability at the tender age of 21, or thereabouts, she wasn't quite sure. But her attention turned back to the other things currently going on adn she nodded, "Fantastic Malik. Then I'll consider myself well and duly compensated and you will be pleased with the service rendered. Everyone is happy." Now about those runes...should she try? She did a bit more with the agent Sevilin had provided but kept coming back to the same temptation. It would be nice to know if she could actually do it...and she decided to see if her body was any closer to conditioned for it. Concentrating for a moment she pulled her own threads taut and then imagined the thread combinging into the pad of her finger almost like a pen. It took a while but she managed to get a runic circle under her feet though it wavered and was hardly a good one, then quickly began the process of scribing the first rune that popped into her mind. A wind rune.

Seemed him and Malik were in concert to Malik Arthur's life a bit miserable. Funny little thing to think about, the two of them actually taking joy in the same subject. Weird things had to happen he supposed and to that he only shook his head, though it didn't take much of an energy shift in the room to get his attention and it snapped to Zahara.
And anything barely got a second to activate before Sevilin has dismissed it all and had a tight hold to Zahara's wrist so she couldn't do anymore at the moment. He let red hold violet a moment, a clear expression of 'don't even' there, though he didn't say a word to her.

Oh yeah he almost forgot that he had to train with Malik, and if he didn't have to he would actually enjoy training with Sevilin which wouldn't be bad really. "Thanks for warning me Malik..." he muttered a little bit as he flexed his arm since it started to feel a still bit stiff from his training. It seemed that the training that he was going to receive from both drows are really going to put him through the ringers and boy Arthur had a feeling that his body is going to complain to him for quite awhile before he actually get's use to everything. Arthur's eyes slowly traveled down to his right hand as he made his fingers bent and move quickly, the feeling of the magic in his body was still there and now it just felt tingly to him which he grinned a little at. Slowly he raised his eye to look back at the others, do they need him anymore? Training with Sevilin is over now so there was no special reason for him to stay though he felt some sort of energy shift in the room but since he was just starting out he didn't want to pin point it. "Alright then since all things settled and done I’ll take my leave from you all." Silently he walked away from the group and headed towards the doors, he needed to rest up for tomorrow since he needed to have enough energy to survive the training he has gotten himself into.

Her gaze snapped to him the moment his fingers closed around her wrist a little tighter than she preferred. Tugging lightly she frowned at him and finally jerked her wrist free, rubbing it lightly in reaction though he hadn't been rough or hurt her. He was quickly going to ignite her formidable temper though and she huffed out a sigh. "And why can't I Sevilin? Do share. I'm merely 'testing' myself to see if I'm any closer to my goal." Testing to see if she could withstand anymore or if she could do more than she'd been able to last time. She had thought about it rather extensively and finally drew the conclusion that the only way she was going to be able to rune was to train herself to focus her energies and condition her body. Part of that was exposing her system to the runing process in whole and in part. The first time she'd done a rather high level rune and encountered the numbness almost immediately. It had been on her mind that perhaps she could do a lesser rune without experiencing any negative effects.

He let her yank away, but still kept her gaze. Sevilin was quite serious. "Simple...you're with child. Which means no runing for you." But he held up at finger at her to keep the protest at bay and merely let himself expand on his reasonings. "Runes done in that fashion take energy from your body and drain it...and also from the child inside of you as well, whom is also considered at this point in time 'part of your body'. That's why."

Glaring at him she waited to hear his reasoning, the fingers of her right hand tapping an impatient stacatto against the wooden table. They stilled when he began to enumerate on his reasoning and she actually blanched, though with the dark skin tone she possessed it wouldn't be entirely obvious. She hadn't quite thought about that. She'd always considered the child a seperate entity really though nature thought of it quite the opposite. Well then, Sevilin was right, there would be no runing for her. But once she realized that she just slammed the book closed and sat back against the chair, slumped really. No runing, no real physical fighting, she had to be careful with magic usage as well. In quick order she had the circle created from the agent cleaned up and she glanced at Piper. "You mentioned the foals might be ready to ride a few weeks ago in Andal. Do you think that's true and would there be some way we could begin that process now?" She had to do something with her time. That restless feeling that hadn't quite been quenched by the impromptu disaster with Arthur had returned and left her feeling like a cat who had been stroked incorrectly, her fur standing on end and quite testy.

"Neither of you will be trying to break horses to riders. Especailly Zephmares. If they have even a tenth the temperment of thier dam, your bound to get thrown at least half a dozen times before you can even sit on thier backs properly."
Malik looked at them both.
"If you are bored, and need somethign to do, Zahara. I can think of a few things you might even find enjoyable to spend your time on."

And Malik pretty much took the words out of his mouth. Look, something else they would be agreeing on apparently...was this getting a bit too trusty cozy? He wasn't sure yet. Though he was amused at the looks from said women who had just been forbidden from such things, but of course he looked to Zahara, a nod of his head toward Malik. "What he said." Though Malik did get a raised eyebrow as he proposed that he had suggestions. Gods...
Piper opened her mouth to answer Zahara but that turned into a want of protest at Malik's statement and then she just closed it again, frowned and promptly took to pouting. She was getting restricted from things already? "You forgot that they're hand reared, didn't you?" That was her one line of protest from her. Well good gods what was she going to do with all of her times...it was hard enough for her to sit around unless she wasn't feeling well or fletching...and she couldn't fletch all the time, would have her hands constantly sliced up.

Frustration gleamed in Zahara's eyes and she once again began tapping her fingers, her nails beginning that click clack sound as she tapped relentlessly. "But..." She had completely disregarded what Malik had said as her stipulations came from Sevilin, not Malik. But then the irritating elf had to agree with him. And now she couldn't ride either. She'd been looking forward to that too. This baby was becoming more of a burden than anything else and she was beginning to think that it would be far better to expel the thing from her body. "Alright Malik, I'll indulge you. What activities can I possibly indulge in?"

"Interior decorating. I'm thinkihng of having this place redone. the slave trade is still okay, but I think I'll be expanding my activities into the jewelry, weaponry and armoring markets. this means that any potential buisness contacts I have will be expecting a more comfortable environ than those more accustomed to the slave trade. nto to mention, with both of you expecting, need to get this place a bit prepared for the children to be coming, correct?"
Then a glance at Piper.
"Hand reared or not, I'm not about to risk even remotely somethign going wrong after all the work we put into getting this child to be."

And there it was, Malik's fancy to change things as he felt the need to when in parallel to other situations. Her being pregnant and thus that meaning the beginning of thier family and his new little business avenues brought about a change in the house. Well she though that quite fantastic...well if Zahara took that up then she had something to do. Though a look back to Malik. "This isn't the part where you throw me in a bed and make me lay around all day is it?" Yeah she was going to have to find something to amuse herself somehow.

And what made Malik D'vinn think that Zahara had any design abilities whatsoever? Aside from teh fact that she was elvish and it came rather naturally, of course. The point was at this moment in time redesigning his home held no thrall for her. She didn't know what she wanted right now but she merely shot Malik a 'you've got to be kidding me' look and shook her head. "Piper you can do that if you wish...I think I'll pass. Maybe later I'll set my sights towards that." Yeah right, if she got so bored she was ready to clean. Then she'd be turning into Sevilin and she'd rather design than do that. "I'm going to see the horses." She finally announced as she stood up and fixed one of her boots. "You're welcome to come if you wish," she said to Piper before heading for the kitchen to get sugar and then outside.

The door to Arthur's room opened with a small bang following it as the surface elf made his way inside; his breathing was a bit short as he slowly closed the door and began walking towards his bed. His hands felt numb while his muscles ached for relaxation and comfort, which was granted when he finally sat on his bed. "God damn am I gonna die..." he whispered to himself followed by a nervous chuckle. Slowly he took off every piece of clothing he had and took a nice long hot bath to get out all the dirt and sweat he had on him since his training with Malik, when it was all over the young elf dried himself off and slowly put on a fresh pair of pants before slipping into his bed, his eyes quickly closing as the nice soft bed called for him.

A shrug.
"Alright, then Piper can redecorate. and we'll find something for you. I'm sure Sevilin can keep you occupied."
though a grin as she went out to the horses.
"Things are going to be interesting, I think. I wonder if perhaps we should hasten these pregnancies up some."
