SO, it's Saturday.

No word from Void or Jinx, which is a damn shame. And I received a PM from Shaylies account, but from her friend, Ashley. Apparantly she had a bit of an accident on the 29th, thrown from a horse while taking riding lessons. Broken bones and what sounds like a bad concussion; I believe it.

So I'm gonna PM the 3 and let them know they're off the hook for the pictures.


If Shaylie wants to post her gift once she recovers, that's cool, but not needed.

And MissM, you said you had Void, yes? Since he didn't post his pic, you're also off the hook to make/post his. ^^


Now then, Lucemon PM'd me in private and volunteered her skills in helping me make the unmade gifts for the regulars. So she and I decided that in case of these 3 being unable to get thier pics up, she would take on MissM's request, and I would take Kinkotsuman's.

We'll try to get them done ASAP, kay guys? heart

The staff were assholes, everything was unorganized, you needed a badge to do everything at the con, even just walking downstairs.

.. And WTF. Regina got 52 on the mary-sue test. D= It's probably the whole "liking a canon character/having sex" thing. >__<

Well, it's hard to answer the questions when our characters are superhumans. x.x;; But lawl. XD That's a high score.

Did you guys read the rules before the test? It says to keep in mind the series the character takes place in.

Keeping the Kinniku-verse in mind probably helped alot in my testing. (let's face it, alot of stuff is possible in Kinnikuman).

I've always thought it more to do with how the character is played, not what they're like. Luke Skywalker is technically a stu (mysterious angsty past, has a twin, has OMFGBBQ!11 amazing POWAAZ!, is stereotypically young and rebellious) but we don't see him like that because of his numerous flaws and the way he is presented. I've seen a luscious raven-haired dragon-princess be played so realistically that it never even occured to me that she could be sueish.

To quote The Original Mary Sue Litmus Test, "Morpheus from the Sandman Comics scored nearly 70 points, and yet we don't believe he's a Mary-Sue. He's well developed, suffers the consequences of several major personality flaws, and has very few powers or talents besides those necessary to perform the duties of his station."

The tests can only point out possible indicators; they're not the ultimate stamp that "YOU ARE A MARY-SUE!". For one thing, it doesn't ask questions about your characters flaws, which as I said before, are actually what sets your character apart from a mary-sue. The only exception to the rule is self-inserts: self-inserts drive me up the wall D=<

Ahaha. XDD Oh Dream. He is but he isn't a sue. Damn his angsty butt.

And yeah. o__o They should've had more of a flaws section.
