Aedan was...not fashionably late, having missed almost the entirety of prom--but he'd somehow fallen asleep, absolutely exhausted, and had finally roused himself, only to realize the prom was undoubtedly well underway--even, possibly, wrapping up. It was a good thing he hadn't asked anyone to the dance, as it happened. Stepping through the door, he ran straight into Christi, eyes widening slightly as he immediately took in her...rather upset expression. For once, he eschewed a a teasing greeting, touching her forearm lightly with his fingertips and pitching his voice low. "Everything...okay?" he asked after a moment, wondering why she was leaving alone--hadn't she had a date???

Riley fell all too happily into the cage that Malodore's wings made for them. The sound muffled only slightly, but it still felt like a world to themselves; a moment of time at a busy prom where it was just the two of them again. She was already feeling relaxed and content, but that sudden comfort seemed to make her melt with satisfaction.
And compliments didn't hurt, either.
Radiant. I should hope so, I worked very hard to keep it that way. Her wings, still flickering with the illusion of fire behind her, were the only part of her that hovered outside of Malodore's winged clutch. Her forehead felt the press of its mask against it, and she leaned in, her eyes closing at the familiar touch. She could feel what it felt, and it made her heart beat faster. Finally, the effects of the drink started to wear off, but she had no chance to notice; Malodore was just as effective at soothing the savage beast.
Ti adoro. Her thoughts whispered into Malodore's mind.
The she-wolf stopped, and turned at the touch on her arm, looking at Aedan incredulously. Was she dreaming, or was that really him, looking at her funny. At least he had forgone the typical smartassed remark, which probably was the best decision he would ever make, if he planned on living for longer than a few seconds.
"Define 'okay'" she snapped, shaking her head in frustration. "Nice to see you show up afterall. I didn't figure you would." She tried to edge the conversation onto anything BUT herself and current situation. She didn't exactly want to admit she had been ditched.

Lottie whined after Hel smacked her head, rubbing her fluffy permed hair with a pout. She'd get that darned third year yet! Damn these ghouls and their attitudes and BIG BOOB----
Ohai Bella.
Lottie made a wide smile at belladonna, since she wasn't nearly as evil and obnoxious as Hel had been. No, Hel had made an enemy of Lottie Von Schnickerdoodle! "Thank you! I love your dress even more! It's all kinds of poofy and fancy!" The little witch complimented, twisting her heel into the floor.
"I am having a fantastic time!" Especially when she nearly ruined Hel's meeting with the Horsemen----WAIT her whole PROM had been hel centric! DRATS AND DARNS IT ALL!
"Oh! Ahaha! No problems here! have a fun dance you two! I'll be sure t stop by~ I'll bring CAKE!"

Aedan made a face, half-tempted to stick out his tongue at her. "I...may have overslept just a bit." He said after a moment, trying to look like this wasn't the most embarrassingly stupid reason possible for missing most of the prom. Deciding that maybe it was best to ignore whatever had her so fired up, for now, he attempted a smile...that may have edged slightly into the territory of showing too many teeth.
"Have you found the food?" he asked after a moment, raising his eyebrows at her. "...and nice dress." This was said casually, with a slight motion of his chin in her general direction.

"I was not referring to your costume," it murmured, fondly; indeed, it had entirely forgotten the illusion-glow. As if reminded, its wings flinched back just for a moment before it overrode instinct with logic and knowledge - no, not fire, only magic.

Mort was apparently too good at creeping tonight. He smiled to himself at how all he had to do was turn away and the witch was making new friends. "'Sir Secretary'?" he echoed with amusement as the doll saluted and promised him she had been very nice and not at all naughty (unlike her sister, who was still trying to pester Amrita, which of course she would never do). She toddled off back into the crowd as Belladonna pulled him into the waltz like they had practiced.
"Mrrr? N' why would they talk?" Mort asked in turn, the corners of his mouth turned up as he remembered the steps. "Crowned you twice now. If had issue, would speak up I'd think." He paused to let himself fall into the rhythm of the dance before asking in a softer tone, "How's it feel t'be queen?"

When Anna turned to look at him, TG had his arms crossed and his tail down, glaring at the boil on stage. "He's not a real man. He's just some boil with stumpy horns." He grumbled, not liking all the attention all the ghouls were giving the blue demon. So what? He'd be just as popular if he was tall. He wasn't so hot.
"I like music. Just not this." This music was garbage.
Seeing Anna look at the other boil, he reached up and grabbed her arm. "Let's go to the booths." He told her, and started to try and lead her away from the stage.

Hel wished she knew Mac was geeking…because then she would laugh. But she didn’t need a reason to laugh at Mac so…what did that say. Really.
“Oh…okay! We can slow down.” She replied, and that she did. She was just keeping in beat with the song…but hey, if Junko wanted to slow down, that was fine. “Mmm, ya! I am, actually.” She replied honestly. “I did not so much last year, but this year has been really…nice.” Hel nodded her head vigorously, making the bells of her hat jingle loudly. “Ya! I was wearing Mac’s first prom outfit…because I was taking Mut as her date for the first half…”
She then turned back to Junko. “I call this a truce dance!” She announced, grinning. “I am over it now that I fought you, and got it out of my system…though I do have to say, I do not believe you when you say you do not fight!” Hel laughed. “Also, friend, how did I end up at the Nurse’s Office with Mac…?”

Anna nodded, very slowly - she still didn't see Freya anywhere, though she might just be missing the ghoul. Maybe she could sneak away? "Okay," she said, feeling a sense of relief. So it was okay not to be shrieking in delight over Johnny Danger.
(Though his music wasn't that bad. Just not screaming-good.)
"Where to? I, um, not really sure about games..."

"Well, I cannot call you My King right in front of everyone!" The witch defended in a low voice, as though those imaginary people in their pretend kingdom were actually listening. The doll that preached her innocence made the witch smile, glad she had gotten even a small moment with the little thing before it was gone, off to see what other people she could pester and entertain. Though it felt odd, the witch literally fell back into the waltz, pulling Mort into the lead role as best she could. They had even practiced this and still she felt like she might trip over her own feet. Or maybe that was just because she was dancing with her boilfriend and he was making her all sorts of bashful. Honestly, it was a toss up...
"Because they always talk." She told him in a chirp that quickly turned into the witch leaning closer to him, her voice dropping lower despite the volume of the music. Hopefully he could hear her, for it would be a shame to repeat herself. Especially given that he obviously remembered and she was not yet allowed to question him on it. "Honestly? It feels much better this time... I prefer this one, for I do not have to worry about loosing you." At least, not tonight. "And how does it feel to have crowned me, hmmm?" That was asked in a cheeky manner with an additional bounce as they moved.

Erebus had to agree with Tomoko that the dress was indeed pretty. The issue about a boil wearing a dress though, well, Thack was his brother and Erebus was used to strange fashion tastes.
After all, Thack had been the one to dress him up today.
"Oh, that's fine with me, really." As if he could ever say no to Tomoko. "It's not like I really know how to dance anyway..." Besides, they both seemed genuinely fond of each other, in a friendly way.
Erebus is a Cerberus bro and is wearing a fortune teller outfit.
Alexander had been doing his fair share of sneaking around as well. Mostly Student Council business things. If he hadn't been public relations, he probably would have left shortly after the prom court had been announced, ready to relax and be lazy in the comfort of his own dorm room. As it was, he didn't plan on leaving until everyone was gone, and then likely would be spending the night taking down posters and helping to clean up.
He had sat back and watched the festivities for a time, keeping one vibrant green eye on things and still hoping the event itself continued to run as smoothly as it had so far. Sure there had been a couple of small hiccups, like the gnomes misbehaving and the impromptu kareoke time, but all in all.....really not too bad for the student councils first event.
Now making his way around the dance floor, dancing alone, turning to bow at those he passed and giving them a tip of his hat, he couldn't help but smile at the sight of his two close friends as they danced together, and came up behind Belladonna to whisper, "Technically, I was the one who got to crown you tonight~"
Of course, he was just trying to tease the ghoul. His drink that had stolen his voice having worn off, it felt good to be able to talk again, even if just in whispered tones.
And then he was off again, to leave the other two alone in case he was interrupting a moment.

"We can ...go to the photo booth. Then we can see what else is around." Anything until that boil on stage got off and he could go back to hopefully slow dancing with Anna at some point and putting his moves on her. Competition was everywhere here and he didn't want his ghoulfriend's eyes to wander.

Aymet had (vaguely) given Thackery a (mostly invented) power, and with great power came far too much responsibility. He held a stack of somewhat official-looking contracts in his hand, but had failed to secure a portion of the blank contracts he'd used all of his Student Council Copy Credits. It turned out that stuffing a bunch of papers into your jacket really wasn't the best way to ensure that they didn't end up all over the ground.
He hid behind some of the decorations - none of which provided proper cover for anything wider than a few inches - and leering suspiciously at some of the more coupley looking pairs. He had a job to do.
Quote:
AN EVENT:
The next three people to pick up the contracts and return them to Thackery's general vicinity can roll 1d4 to determine how many pages they pick up - each page can = 1 ticket, which can be claimed here!
ps you can also quote me if you want to get demonmarried, just sayin
