Nova stood there and shook his head. When Mitsuki began to fall, the vampire jumped out and grabbed him and brought him back to safety. "I told you to come down with me. You wouldn't have fallen," he said and hugged his human tightly. He did not know what he would have done if he was not fast enough to catch the other, but he did not show any of that. As he looked around at the tree and then to the grave, he sighed. Well, Mitsuki was safe, he had shown the human his favorite place, and the human knew just about everything from his past. His first love, how she was killed. But, he was unsure of how it all made the other feel. Did he feel jealous of the girl? After all, she was Nova's first love. She was the girl who made him feel like a person. Sighing softly, the vampire knelt beside Toiba's grave and ran his fingers over the flowers growing around it. "I promise I'll take good care of him, Toiba. I won't let him get hurt," he said and smiled.

Mitsuki walked over to Nova, and was silent. He knew he should of asked the other for help, but he never asked for help ever since his parents were always gone. He walked over to Nova and kneeled down behind him. He hugged him around the back. He knew the other still missed his first love. He took a deep breath, "I'm sorry." He rested his head on the other's shoulder. "She must been a great person.....so kind...they way you describe her.....unlike myself...cold, mean, and spiteful." He sighed as he stood up, "If anything else....you showed that I can still feel again."

Nova turned around and looked at the other. He quickly shook his head. "No! You're not cold, mean, or spiteful. You're nice," he said and stood up beside Mitsuki. "Why would you describe yourself like that?" he asked quietly and looked back at the grave. It was true. Toiba was a very nice person. She gave off the impression that she was shy and docile, but if someone hurt anything living, she would jump in and become the little fireball he knew and loved. He giggled softly and took Mitsuki's hand in his own. "Know what Toiba wants?" he asked and glanced at Mitsuki with a grin. "She wants me to take good care of you. She doesn't want you ripped away from me like she was taken from me. Well, that's how she said it," he mumbled and looked at the ground, closing his eyes and listening to the wind rustle through the trees. Everything was so quiet. Why did everything else have to be so loud? He was so happy he got to bring Mitsuki to his favorite place. The most wonderful place in the world beside the most wonderful person in the world.

Mitsuki looked at the other and shook his head, "I wasn't always like that. I was cold. I don't like people....I didn't need family nor friends....." He glanced over at Nova and made a small smile. "But...you changed that....now I have you and Maya and Mr. and Mrs. Zuski. That's all I need. Just you guys." He shook his head and looked down at the grave and smiled. "I see....well I'll also take care of you, jut like she did with you." He held the other tightly.

Nova listened to Mitsuki and sighed. "Well, I still don't like people. I just... I really can't hate anyone. It's not in my personality or whatever," the vampire mumbled. He felt good knowing that he was able to help and change another person. There was always the thought in the back of his mind that he was unable to do that, unable to help anyone ever. His heart warmed up as he stared at the ground. He was so happy, but he did not want to burst out with tears of joy like he felt were on the edges of his eyes. As he was hugged by Mitsuki, he shut his eyes and wrapped his arms around the other. "Okay," he muttered and looked around. Was there anything else to do? He tugged at some of Mitsuki's hair softly and looked into his eyes. "Do you want to do anything else today?" he asked.

Mitsuki smiled and held him close, "All I want is to be with you....." He looked at the sky and thought back on the first day they met. He sighed and pulled away from Nova. "If you don't mind...I'd like to go by the book store and see what they have...." He then held the other by his shoulders, "Unless you want to do something else..."

"Nah, you can go do your book thing. I wanna just walk around the city, see what has changed," Nova said and stretched his arms out. "You know, it has been a very long time since I actually walked the streets." He chuckled and began to run slowly to the city. The vampire wanted so badly to see what all had really changed and what had not changed. He expected not much had stayed the same, from what he had seen from his short walks around with his friends. Hah, friends. It had also been a very long time since he called anyone a 'friend'. He giggled softly and twirled around a few time from pure joy. Finally he was happy. "Should school be out, or are they still going through their boring days? I could always have Maya show me around," he said while turning to look at Mitsuki.

Mitsuki shrugged, "I guess that school as released a while ago...." he walked after Nova and smiled. "Come on. I'll show you around the city while we head to that big bookstore. He kept going until they head over to the city streets.

Nova made a face and crossed his arms. He wanted to look around himself. There was one place he wanted to make sure was still up. It was a bread shop run by a Bryony vampire. He made delicious herb breads that were very popular with the humans a long time ago. Though, he would have needed to change his fake name multiple times. There was a name a vampire used with humans and another they used for vampires. His vampire name was something along the lines of Toya, while his human name was Kory. He was Nova's friend, one of his few, that he had back then. The Kalika vampire visited everyday to smell the bread. Unlike the pizza Mitsuki ate that was full of garlic, the breads Toya made smelled so good. Some breads were made especially for vampires, though the human never had any knowledge of that facy. It was safe for them as well, but they just did not like the taste. Nova looked at Mitsuki and grumped. "Got to promise not to call me Nova in front of the humans, okay? It's a pretty strange name for these times, you know that, right? Call me..." The vampire stopped and thought for a second before coming to a name that his father wanted to originally called him, but his mother refused because it made him sound like an animal. "... Call me Hunter," he said finally.

Mitsuki made a face, "okay..." he followed after Nova, "but No--I mean Hunter...god, I have to get used to that...why do I have to call you Hunter? I told the humans at my school your real name...why not these humans?" he asked curiously to the other. He looked around and noticed that they were at the oldest part of town. He wonders why Nova wanted to come here.

Nova shook his head. "Oldest part of town, right? Well, people from years ago know me as Nova. People from this generation are okay... I just don't want any old humans recognizing me and asking if I am Nova," he explained. "They'd find out I'm a vampire... And, that usually freaks the elder people out." He chuckled softly. "They normally have a heart attack from that kind of surprise. Don't want to cause any deaths, right?" he asked playfully. Like any vampire, he liked seeing humans in pain. But, it was not in any way mean or hate-filled, his idea of fun was just a bit messed up, right? He giggled and took Mitsuki hand. "They also don't like seeing two guys holding hands. They're all full of old customs and find it disgusting," he said with a grin. "Hope I'm not freaking you out or anything." The bread shop came into view, and his grey eyes brightened up. "Yes!!" he exclaimed and ran over. "Hmm... Anyone here?" he asked outside the door.

Mitsuki nods at the other's reasoning and followed right after him. He looked around and noticed an old book store near the building Nova went into. I'm sure, he'll be fine for a moment.... He walked over to the old store and wanted to check out books. He was a sucker for the classics and old fasion books. He looked about and noticed the shopkeeper giving him a warm smile. He smiled and waved back, he did a double take when he realized he did that. He sighed, That kid changed me so much...

@Kurt: I couldn't draw either!! I was sitting on my bed and staring at the paper. I got mad at myself for being unable to draw ANYTHING))
Nova glanced over and saw Mitsuki walking away. He was fine as long as the human did not go far. All he needed was to have the human get snatched up and taken away by some vampire. Then there was the possibililty that one of the vampires who would steal Mitsuki would most likely be someone from his school. That seemed logical to him. Shrugging, the vampire turned his attention back to the bread shop and heard someone unlock the door. When it was opened, Nova almost yelled out in excitement. It was his friend Toya was the one in the doorway, looking down at the Kalika vampire. Nova pounced at him and hugged him tightly. "I haven't seen you in a long time, To---... Uh, Kory!" he said. The Bryony chuckled and looked around.
"Can't believe you still remember that name. I still use it, too," Toya said and raised an eyebrow. "Last time I saw you, you didn't have a human. You should be about one fifty now, right?" he asked. Nova nodded and looked at Mitsuki through the windows on the bookstore. "Him? I thought you were going to pick Toiba, but then that happened. I'm sorry for that. Is he nice?"
Nova nodded and hugged himself. "Mitsuki is the best! Though, he said that he used to be really mean," he said and looked at the ground. "I believe him a bit, but I think I've changed him..." Toya nodded. Nova had that affect on people. He usually always made people better in some way, or he allowed them to see how they really were. Kalika vampires were strange that way. Toya looked into his shop and motioned for Nova to walk in. "Oh, do you still make herbal breads?" Toya nodded.

Mitsuki looked around the shop and came to a stop to a certain shelf. He reached up and took the old book. Each one of the books had no designed covers, just colored borders and covers. He turned it and it was the same, no summary in then back, no nothing. He grinned, He liked these types of books. He grabbed some random ones, one green, one blue, one red and one black. He carried them to the owner, the owner grinned. "Ah...I see you found something you like...." Mitsuki nods and paided for the books. "I'll come by again," Mitsuki announced, the owner grinned and waved. "Please do." Mitsuki nods and heads out the shop and onto the streets.
