Blushing again, she bobbed her head. "Goodness .. I have lost count of how often I have fallen asleep with books I have been reading. Growing up, books were my only friends." she said softly, looking to him for a moment, bobbing her head a bit. "Approximately one half of the books in the library, I had read before arriving here. It took only three visits .. approximately two weeks in total to read the remaining books in the library, three days to read the materials which were hidden." she said with a shy grin, unsure if he would believe her, not that it would truly matter to her if he did not believe.

He didn't look distrusting, but he took it with a grain of salt, nodding.

"I wish I could read so fast, I'd have a feeling to disbeleive you but seeing your unique skills and appearance I have a knack to be a bit more trusting." he grinned "After all, I've read about people doing more strange things than read books rather fast; however most of those were planars...demons, yuggoloths and the like. You seem to get off well where they don't, pretty, intelligent, and a very lovely shade of blue. Silly too, got to enjoy that."

He grinned, warrilly, not sure how she'd take it, however feeble it seemed, he apparently was trying to warm up to her for a bit. His voice was a bit off at times, sounding less than charismatic (where he obviously has the talent to be a good speaker), perhaps a touch nervous? His face stays a soft red of embarassment.

Blushing more deeply, she ran her fingertips through her hair finding a tendril to play with, twirling around her fingers idly for a moment, trying not to feel so shy. "I feel at a disadvantage, I make no effort to label others when we first meet. I am a bit slow in ways like that, despite how well I can learn when reading from a book or observing most anything magic." she said softly, still looking rather shy.

He chuckles a moment, eyeing her twirl her hair, playing with it a bit as he winks to her, grabbing a chair and pulling it around. He gains a bit of confidence, speaking more clearly and firmly.

"Forgive me for being bold then, however when it comes to binding, you have to be quick to grasp certain aspects of people, and I guess I've got that...hmm...just...certain things make me a bit worse off with actual people. Vestiges act so much differently from you...or your friend, or any still living being, or even dead one. Judge an aspect wrong and make a bind with it and for the next day you might be running around controlled by some maniac with a taste for blood." he shakes his head a bit, then smiles to her. He draws out a bottle from a pocket that goes from his hip to his knee, pulling the cork and taking a drink of the mostly clear liquid inside before offering the bottle to her a brief moment out of courtesy. "Maybe I'm a bit bold but perhaps I could get you to help me with some studies sometime? You know the books so it'd expedite my work...and it'd certainly be lovely to have some company."

Taking a chair for herself, she sat gracefully, watching him with curious eyes still, smiling as he spoke. Some of what he said made sense, others did not. "What is binding? And Vestiges? They all relate to each other? And you mentioned yuggoloths .. what are they?" she asked cheerfully. Considering the bottle for a moment, she shook her head and held out her own hands, left hand cupped beneath her right, in which a cup of steaming tea appeared a moment later. "I am very fond of hot tea in the evening." she said with a bright smile, closing her eyes and inhaling the vapor before taking a sip, hoping he would go on with satisfying her curiosity on the mentioned items.

He smiled to her, seeming glad to talk about these things with her.

"I'll start with the easy answer. Yugoloth's are evil beings, like a demon or devil, but they aren't as easy to categorize. They come from another dimension, and usually hire themselves out to be mercenaries for evil causes on other planes of exsistance." he took a drink and smiled, the bottle smelled reminiscent of pears "As for your tea...I prefer pear juice...pears have been an odd weakness of mine for a long time. Delicious things." he stoppered the bottle, placing it away then thought a moment, "Binders...hmm, I'm a binder. We're...misjudged alot so we keep it quiet when we're around commoners. When a summoner summons a creature...he doesn't pull the real one to him usually, but a spiritual copy. Binders take that a step further and pull that spirit into themselves, using it to enhance their abilities. A vestige is what we summon...usually a vestige is someone who's done something recognizable in their life and they just become one, but nobody is sure what makes them." he runs his hand through his hair, thinking some more, "hmm...they just seem to be chosen at random."

He stops at this a moment and watches her, smiling, seeming to enjoy her enthusiasm to hear him speak. Seeming also to enjoy the exchange of information as well.

"You know I think you've got a scholar in you somewhere, you just might not realize it." he grinned "Anyways...anyone can be a binder, I could help you draw a circle here and now and you could probably pull it off. Problem being however without training and conditioning, the vestige would probably control you. Vestiges don't experience time, or reality like we do...so when we call them forth, the deal is always the same...they give us power, and in the mean time, they come along for the ride for a day to experience reality once again. They...don't always stay content though, and if they can control you...they will.

Smiling brightly when he mentioned pears, she had to ask; "Cool or the temperature of the room? Would you like a glass or a fresh pear now?" she asked with a giggle.

Listening as he explained more, the expression on her face showed that she was positively captivated, hardly blinking and clearly not even dreaming of interrupting him. Only when the conversation turned to her again did this seem to break, bowing her slightly again, smiling and nodding a bit.
"I am always up to a new challenge, though perhaps tonight would not be the best time to take such an adventure on." she said softly, nodding a bit as she took a sip of her tea, hoping he would understand.

He nodded, apparently understanding fully.

"Nay m'lady, in fact I'm getting ready to turn in myself for a while. I haven't slept for some time and should I returnt to the library I'd find the books there to be relatively uncomfortable for a bed. Perhaps tomorrow? As for fresh fruit..." he winks slyly to her "perhaps tomorrow as well."

With that he stood, bowing a bit to her and leaning in to take her hand and kiss the back of it.

"Mayhaps you'll excuse me now m'lady, I have some rest to catch up on and tomorrow is another day. If you're still interested I can tell you more about the arts of binding and perhaps the realms which they originated in."

She smiled, not picking up on what was meant with the wink, naive as always, bobbing her head, trying to make through the conversation as best she could. Bobbing her head a bit, she answered honestly and literally. "Yes of course, if there is anything you require, I will do what I can to provide, if you find this to be acceptable. Which, if you do not already know, you may sleep in any of the rooms above this bar in which you may sleep - there are rooms there for sleeping!" she said cheerfully standing as he did. When he reached to touch her hand, she again blushed deeply, returning his gesture with a polite curtsy. "Rest well, friend. Indeed, I look forward to when next we meet." she said in a soft, happy tone before returning to her seat by Zero, wishing to pick up where they left off hoping he had enough time to have finished his hamburger while she spoke with Azuris.

Zero had eaten his hamburger and begun writing in the book by the time Ziven returned speaking to him. He had not payed attention to most of their conversation, though it was not because he was against listening in. Something interesting had come across in his reading and, with a little bit of editing, he made a spell that would help him with another step. "Miss Ziven, you said that Axel was a doll made from other dolls. Is that not a... cruel way to describe him? Seemingly making him out to be a mear experiment?" He did not look at her as he spoke, instead continuing to scribble something into the book.

The door swung open with force. Angel had kicked it open. Angel wasn't in a very good mood and it was about to be remedied. She drug a wooden chair from an empty table grinning slightly as it's legs scraped the floor. A slight laugh escaped her lips when the legs all but snapped from the force of the scruffy character she slammed down into it. His face was bruised and his lips crusted with blood. Angel's knuckles held the evidence of his plight. She was rather ragged looking herself. She had been gone for quite awhile but she was back now. She circled the man she had deposited in the chair silently. His eyes darted around trying to keep her in full view, flinching every time she got a little too close for comfort. His voice was raw from pleading with her, his eyes bloodshot and swollen. Angel didn't care. She was fueled by it if anything.

"P..P..P lease M...m..m..iss...."

A meaty thwack shut him up, Angel stood balanced on one foot. She had kicked him in the mouth. Her captive's hands flew to his mouth whimpering. Angel smiled as she released her stance, her face was warm from his crimson spray. Her eyes now fixed on his open palm. In a pool of blood he held fragments of his teeth. She laughed producing her switchblade.

"We haven't gotten started yet...."

Blushing a bit she bobbed he head. "My apologies, I believe I misspoke. From my understanding, what Vice said to me once, he created Axel from part of the last Gigantos and part of Reeve and part of others, I believe, also." she said softly, bobbing her head, watching him with curious eyes, hoping this would help him she did not mean this dismissively. "Axel is my friend, I do not see him as a doll."

She looked up, hearing noise. Moving over to Angel and the unknown person, she took pity on the man she was seeming to beat senseless. Had the other man not seemed so helpless, this would not be the case. "Miss Angel, please, why are you doing this?!" she asked in a concerned voice, her eyes pleading for answers.

The Almighty Ali

* Ali slowly opened the doors and stepped inside, stopping nearly right away at the sight and smell of blood, a beaten up man in a chair, Angel who looked sadistic, which was not something Ali had seen her be, and Ziven and the guy from the Library. He watched them all for a few moments before he had to move aside and into a darkspot, the smell of blood was really driving on his craving and one could see it as his eyes seemingly glowed a bright blue in the dark. Normal Vampires changed eye color to red when they were going into feasting mood, with Ali his eyes turned a slightly brighter blue and in darkness they glowed like a vampires would. Eventually Ali managed to control himself to speak in a more or less normal tone.* No..fighting in..the bar.

Carus dropped from the rafters and landed softly next to Ali. "It looks more like a beating than a fight..."

"But Axel is still Axel." The boy said simply, writing something quickly in the book before setting it down. "And if there are many things that make Axel, then they are Axel as well." He looked at Ziven with a smile, giving her a slight nod of his head. "You understand things differently than I do, and I think I might have over reacted."

When Ziven turned he did as well, watching with slight amusement at what was happening to the man.
