and that's pretty much the only reason i'm asking her. 'cause... y'know... maybe someone has a portfolio of manips or something on their own site, or works in multiple online galleries.
but if she says no, i'll just find another pic. no big, i used simple manipulation on it so it wouldn't be hard to repeat. i just hope the background elements aren't needing to be changed for it... i think i did more manip on the arch, erasing and things, to let the figure rest and be seen well.

Lol.
I thought stock photographers take stock photos for people to use. Saying 'you cant use it for this and that' is kinda pointless.

Ecks X VERY subtle animation static i keep... forgetting the guild one. quandao... dao... sword... chinese sword? A dao is a kind of chinese blade...typically a single edged broadsword. But I think the term refers to any sort of "blade" in the dao shape, whether or not it is a sword or a polearm. (Kraun can probably correct me where I'm wrong here) A quan dao, or "guan dao", or whichever you call it, is that large bladed polestaff that Guan Yu was famous for using. You know...big guy? Epic beard?

Yeah, Seong Mina has it, except hers is named "Hyup-Do" since she's Korean. But yeah. If you've ever played Dynasty Warriors in any of it's forms, you've definitely seen Guan Yu before.

a demo in the store. i've played dw4, i think, but not for long. none of the chars in the demo had polearms, i don't think. the demo ended after a giant mechanical crab or scorpion beat me up, so iunno.
my greatest exposure from that subject came by way of the arcade game "nine dragons" by TGS. pretty cool music, as i remember it.
