If you tidy this place too much, people might think we're civilized here.* Ali smiled a little as he sat by his usual table, feet up ontop of it and his arms behind his head. Just the way he liked to sitt like that.*

"I made a promise .. and though I think not of this promise on most days, I have found I enjoy doing this." she said softly, smiling a bit to him before continuing on with what she was doing. After she finished, which did not take long at all, she looked to him again and bobbed her head. "Are you well?"

Could be better in these gloomy times.* Ali grinned a little and moved his feet down, digging around in his left pocket afterwards and then tossing a small box up onto the table.* Got you something here the other day, forgot about it back under the shade of the tree.

Tilting her head, she moved closer, seating herself at the table too, looking to him with a bit of confusion. "I mean not to sound ungrateful, though I wonder why?" she said softly, taking the box in to her hands for a moment, looking between the item and Ali.
"Thank you, Ali." she said softly. Tracing the outline of the package, she gently opened it to see what was inside.

It's a artifact I found back when I did a lot of artifact hunting, The ring is named "Grey Aegis" and should be very useful to a magician such as yourself. As far as I've tested it boosts the magic you cast and can protect you against magic cast at you, might have a few more uses but that's at least what I've seen. * Ali smiled at her and put his feet back up on the table, laughing a little.* and no I'm not proposing, It was meant as your graduation gift but since there's a chance we might not...be around eachother in the future I thought you could have it now.

Taking the ring from the box, she looked at it in awe, having heard of such rings but never being able to see one before and certainly no thought of ever owning one. Appreciation and emotion overwhelming her as she placed the ring on her left ring finger, she simply had to show her appreciation. With something of a leap forward, she threw her arms around his neck, basically sitting in his lap. "Thank you .. this is the most thoughtful gift I have ever received. Thank you .." she said softly, still clinging on to him with gratitude.

* Ali held his hands out and looked around,Unsure about what to do now that Ziven clung onto him. He never got used to hugs and especially not such sudden and intense ones. Eventually though he patted her shoulder and said with a slight smile.* It's just a enchanted ring.

She looked up to him with a smile, laughter shown in her eyes and lips as she did. "I know not how better to express my gratitude .. remember, I have come from a life where the only kindness I knew was to be left on my own, without abuse from others. This is very kind, I must show my gratitude." she said softly, the smile never leaving her lips as she watched him, hoping he understood her intentions. Finally with a giggle, she kissed his cheek - just a little peck, before resting against him again, still hugging around his neck. "Thank you. And .. please .. do not say such things .. even in jest." she said softly, referring to what he mentioned before about not seeing each other in the future, or proposing. She knew he did not love her like a mate would and she did not feel that way either.

*The peck on his cheek made Ali actually blush and rather speechless, he had seen other kissing and being kissed that way but he hadn't. Well at least not as often. Ali had been more occupied with training and violence then to get involved much in the mushy stuff. Eventually Ali just smiled a little and looked at her.* Fine and you're welcome.

Finally feeling satisfied in expressing herself with him, she released him slowly, patting his shoulder lightly before standing, careful to be gentile while doing so. Again she bobbed her head to him. "Thank you. I know that you, like I, am unaccustomed to such friendly touch. I assure you that my feelings are still that of friendship, great friendship, if you will." she said softly, again bobbing her head. After a moment, she looked more serious. "You realize I will be very sad if you are to perish, yes?"

* Ali blinked his eyes a few times at her last remark, yes he figured she just thought of him as a friend. Otherwise she would've probably gone after his lips. But for her to be sad that he perished, that was in his opinion just odd. Ali had trained himself to be ready to die at any time, though the greatest goal was not too but he always knew he could. That mentality made it so he didn't understand if others got sad if he died.* Uh...Not really.

Like I've said before, If I die I die, If I don't then I'll be around longer to tease you.* Ali smiled up at her, rolling his neck once before standing up. Leaning in towards her until his face was just a couple of inches away from hers.* However, I'm not the one to give up easily and especially not while I still look so darn good as I do.

Standing with a more alert posture, she crossed her arms lightly across her waist and looked at him. "I like the teasing from you, when it is not mean spirited." she said with a bit of a pout. Followed by; "Which pales in comparison when beside me." she said in a flat tone. A zinger. From Ziven. Who would have imagined such a thing? How would Ali react .. and could she resist giggling before he reacted?
