Lol, nice. I don't really like shooters, but the people who made bulletstorm say it's not like the others. I'm curious; did they pull that off?

OH, GOD, YES!

It's not enough to simply kill people in this game- you only get like... 10 points per kill. You have to strategically use your environment and every weaponm at your disposal to set them upfor massiv combos of death and mutilation.

Example: Kill= +10 pts. Headshot= +25 Pts.

Throat shot? It's a skill called "Gag reflex" where they vomit up blood from their open neck hole and die- 50 pts.

Use the 'leash' whip-like weapon to pull them into a spiled mesh of rebar? +100 pts, Voodoo Doll skill kill. Pull them/kicke them into a cactus? Pricked skill kill, +100 pts.

I think the most I've ever gotten in 1 run is about 6 kills at the same time, totalling 2500 pts.

It's... I mean, this game has a GUN. THAT SHOOTS DRILLS. AND WHEN THE DRILLS HIT, THEY SKEWER THE ENEMY, SENDING THEM FLYING. IF THEY HIT ANOTHER ENEMY, THEY TOO GET SKEWERED INTO A HUMAN SHISHKABOB!

And the multiplayer? It's not like Call of duty. It's usually a mode called Anarchy, where up to 4 people online work in a team to destroy wave after wave of enemies on a map, racking up team skill kills for points, so they get enough points to move onto the next wave.

It already has my vote for Game of the Year.

Sounds delightfully gory. Unfortunately something I can never get while I'm still living with my parents. My mom would take one look at the game and be horrified. Which is why I've never played the God of War series. I'm pushing it with Fallout: New Vegas with my bloody mess perk xd

Good afternoon. I regret to inform you all that certain events have come into effect that will make it difficult for me be online. Should things work out, however, I will be building my character some time this week and roleplaying soon after.

Also, a sad note for anyone of you who saw my thread Blood Loss, it is closed and has been for some time.

I'm sure that the profile will be up by then. But a question, so make sure I was reading the threads correctly: my character must start at level one if he is a mage? If so, that will... suck. A lot.

Mora, you know that we've been missing a post from giant abraxia for a while, could I cut in and post?

I've not much to say that can't be added in later--my prose mojo has been lackluster lately, I'm afraid. So please! Post and maybe urge the game on; I promise to post with Vel when some of my energy returns and hopefully with it, my creativity. (:

I notice the guild has kinda died down in activity.

Well, I will remedy that.

I am working on ideas for quests.

I will run them by the crew when complete.

By the time Jaydine gets back from Hawaii, we SHOULD have at least 2 possible quests available.

If and/or when I am able to post regularly, I will make sure there are plenty of things for characters to do.

Can you say potential villian, anyone?

We aren't posting in any sort of order really. So people can post when they feel like it - within reason of course. Things would go too slowly if we waited for people who are gone to post.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be on much until Monday; I'm going to my grandma's house to help her out and she doesn't have Internet.

I ish back from hawaii!

My sucky job has me working all day for the next three days starting today and then I have the step kids this weekend but hopefully next week I can get back to being active.

Lector:

Not sure if anyone answered your question lector, but the way things are set up is characters/loot/ect is set up in tiers. Three to be exact. Characters start out in tier one which is lower levels of the game. Not exactly sure what levels. Perhaps 1-5? 1-10? Needs to be ironed out by staff.

But yes your mage would need to start out at tier one which would be early levels of the game. Does kinda suck but part of the point of this guild is to level up based on activity. This does not mean that your character has to be novice at everything. If you look up the 'how to create a character' thread it explains everything.

To those in the Golden Moss Bandits Quest:
Duo shot me a pm that said to remove him in response to a pm I shot out before I went on vacation. Based on that activity check pm it would seem that only confused insanity and I are interested in continuing the quest. Personally I'm fed up with the lacklusterness and speed at which the rp has gone in general. I plot jumped the quest to finally begin before I left and with the exception of insanity who posted after I, no one else has.

So should we call the quest quits? Or continue on? Accept a few new people?
