Chica just laid there, starting to get irritated with all the attention she was getting. But she knew she needed help and she really wanted the pain to stop. She turned her head to look at Cosmo and Tails, her first friends and the ones in the group she was closest to.

Richard wanted to have Ali get him some water but he knew better than that and looked at Cosmo hoping she could help "Cosmo, think you could run to the resort and try to get some water in a bucket or something as well as a washcloth?" he asked

Lazarus looked at the plant creature as she introduced herself, and Lazarus looked her over with a hint of curiosity. "The dragon has a name, and it's Lazarus. It's a pleasure to meet you as well." he replied, humor coloring his voice to indicate he meant no harm, and took no offense.
"We should probably take care of your wounded friend over there. That get's infected, she's going to have a terrible time of it." he said, concern creeping into his voice.

"thank you" Richard said as Cosmo headed to the resort. Ali looked at her dad almost about to ask him why till she remembered her back and thought maybe he didn't want her to strain her back making it worse and sighed.

As Ali and her father waited, Ali went over to Knuckles a little nervous "so...uh.....what will i have to do once i become the next gaurdian of the emerald?" she asked

"The oath?" Ali asked, she was listening to what Knuckles had to offer though she still wasn't sure if this was such a good idea, she was still a teenager, she wanted to do teenage things. But thinking about it now, she wasn't sure if she'd ever did teenage things at all

Rouge stood battle ready as the cops charge them, Shade was still out cold.
