Getting kind of cocky there are you not, Dry? I have stomped my good share of Tau.
Me and Redd played an 8 game campaign last year against them.
Tau Casualties:
Fire Warriors: 250
Crisis Suits: 80
Broadsides: 16
Crisis Suit Commanders: 8
Ethereal: 6
Vehicles: 24 (12 Hammer Heads, 12 Devilfish)
Holy Space Marines & Grey Knights
15 Space Marines
5 Grey Knights
That was the result of the campaign. We took the most casualties in the game where we gave the Tau player 400 extra points to spend above the point limit. If there is anything me and Redd are good at it's stomping Tau.
Okay, now please stop screwing around I'm sure you like shiny things demon, but please don't make me do something I don't want to do.

i also like to blow things up and use flamers...k so i only have 1 heavy flamer in my army who cares!?? *stalks off to get more flamers*

Well I think what he means is the randomness. Yes this is the general thread but we still like to try and keep a topic relevant to the guild. But as long as the shiny, sharp, pointy thing happens to be a Marine buoy knife or a spoon I'm on board with it.
Flamers are ok, but against any thing with armor it's more like doing them a favor scorching the heck out of them, heating certain metals make them stonger. mrgreen That also works in reverse on the same note... sweatdrop

Thats true, they work really good in DOW that way, eldar don't like them much either.

Yes unfortunatly. Uhh Dart, you guys must have been playing some noobs or something, that few Casualties? Cuz most Tau players can get at least 20 SM's off the board in the first turn with that many Hammer heads. You guys must have been really lucky that day and Redd gave the Tau players his bad luck or something...
And as to me getting cocky? Naw not really, i just know i can put a hurting on some players.

I am an easy Tau player to kill, I'm still learning them. I whent up to the game shop today....*drools* they have so much new stuff for the Tau !!! I almost died !!! Shadow sun just looks cool. And every thing else rocks. Vespids are just the broken-est cool thing going right now. Im gonna gets me some of those buggers to. To me vespids are Tay assault marines hehehehe... twisted

You think you are in love with special weapons I played a guard army with 13+ rocket launchers and 13+ las cannons with two of those dang tanks that both mounted side sponsors of plasma guns.
