He appeared on one the the rafter. Where, he didn't know. He was at a disadvantage since he couldn't see in the darkness. All he had was his senses. Taking a few moments to gather his barring he snuck through the rafters towards where he though she'd be

In all her agility, she flipped over him, her hair fell around him as a silken rain shower. She giggled from her hijinks's, amused to play with him this way.

He felt something coming towards him but it quickly was there and over, he was accosted by the strains of hair that took him by surprise. He went to grab it but missed by half a second. Turning around he renewed his pursuit.

Perched just out of his reach she watched him in the darkness. She had eyes for the night and enjoyed this more then she thought she would. Every move he made, every breath he took, every flex of his muscles fueled her vampire form....she had the urge to hunt. She wasn't a hunter...she wasn't hungry...confusion set in but she felt the animal inside growing closer and clouding out all pure thoughts.

He felt like he was chasing shadows. He knew she was just out of reach and it drove him to frustration, eventually causing him to take small leaps for her. He just had to feel SOMETHING.

"STOP" She didn't know if it was him...or her head she was yelling at. She could have sworn she heard voices, voices long past. Crouching down, he would find her with her head hidden beneath her arms rocking softly.

He froze half way through a leap, he lost his balance and almost fell through the rafters. When he realized he wasn't her target he scrambled to his feet and hastily found her. He threw his arms around her, worried now" Sweetheart, sweetheart what's wrong?

She rose her head slowly. Blood tears started dripping down her face. She spoke nothing but remained shaking her head.

He was concerned for her. He didn't know what was going on. He held her close and kissed her head, rocking her* Shh, shh, it's ok, it's going to be alright...
