Again he had slipped into quiet, not answering her questions or even giving warning or revision to her suggestions. Yes, it did seem that now they were home, the honeymoon was indeed over. Though she couldn't blame him, right? His plate had been clear for months on end and now with coming home, a large fresh helping of things had been dumped on said plate. A little shake of her head and she pushed up on her toes, pressing a kiss to his cheek and giving a pat to his chest before slipping away from him. "I'm going back to bed..." Which is indeed where she would spend the rest of the day.
And the next morning...well it was like she had never left. But as usual she was upbefore Malik and as usual, her stomach felt the need to revolt on her. Normal series of morning actions. Of course right now she was sitting the bathroom counter, apparently waiting for something or other. A good ten minutes of that before she reached into her mouth and pulled out a little dead looking twig...which she sighed at and tossed, leaving the bathroom and going to her closet to get some clothes before heading down to the spas to spend some time before breakfast and to think of ways to amuse herself. Hm...now without her little arrow project she really hadn't too much to do...eh she'd find something.
Sevilin was indeed still in the library, he usually crashed there at night, a book on his chest. But he was wide awake and in rather casual fashion today, merely more or less just wearing his pants, hair even unbraided, the longer portion hanging as it may. In his hands he was holding the tatters of his rather favored outfit of before, needle and thread in hand, trying to repair long ago damaged clothes. He had figured he'd just get things remade, but his paranoia wouldn't let him so he had resorted to this...besides he had read every book in that library by this point...he needed something to do. Didn't even look up at the knock. "It's a public place...no need to knock.

She prayed for strength then slowly walked into the library. "Sev-" Cutting off before even getting his full name out she blinked as though she wasn't quite sure what she was seeing. Sevilin appeared to be in serious relax mode and she couldn't help but feast her eyes on him. The man was sitting there half naked and even his hair was loose. Eyes wide she closed them and took a moment to compose herself then clenched her fists at her sides. He most likely wouldn't be in relaxed mode for long considering who his visitor was. She had to get a grip. She was pregnant anyway, she'd already had her sex. Looking directly at him she almost felt like she was appearing before the Matron Mother to account for her latest misdeed. But she wasn't in that society anymore so a beating was most likely not in her near future. "Before I thank you for helping me out last night...do whatever it is you intend to do."

He looked up at her a breif scant moment, eyes looking her up and down though passing over her own before he looked back to what he was doing, that being repairing what had been torn to shreds. Oh he could pretty much want to hurt those drow...it was not an easy thing to keep his own supplies up and what not.
She was tense, in his breif glance he could caught that...though he found it funny that she thought perhaps that he would strike her or something of that sorts, maybe even yell at her. Well she would be surprised. "No need to thank me, I'm sure you feel that I was merely obligated, and I don't intend to do anything to you." A little frown as he pricked his finger but merely ignored it and coninuted stiching.

It had to be a trick. No way had he warned her against not doing anything and then just shrugged it off. He'd been furious with Arthur and she knew better than to think that he'd place all the blame on the other elf's slim shoulders. Her own part was rather large in and of the fact that she had asked for the friendly duel...that hadn't been that friendly really. A frown marred her forehead and she shook her head. "You intend to do nothing...? Whatsoever? Forgive me for not quite believing that...." Zahara laced her fingers together behind her back and still waited. Why were his clothes torn now? She remembered fixing his leather jacket and tunic for him after Malik had gotten a hold of him...but that was it. Then she stopped and shook her head, "What are you doing?"

"Yelling does not work with you, chastising does not work with you, physical means does not work with you nor do I want to use those methods on you." Simple as that, quiet time analyzation had told him all of that and he wasn't going to subject either of them to the headache of getting nowhere. "Why should I give us both a headache."
Though he sideglanced her again...no he wouldn't directly look at her, not just yet. For the answer she was looking for in the sense of her punishment was in his eyes...and he wasn't ready to deliver it just yet. So then he merely looked back to his work, dark green and silver held between his fingers as he worked on the fabric. Damn crazy drow.
"I'm sure you remember our little tiff with that crazy drow...well you weren't awake for the outcome, but I got quite shredded. My clothes ripped and torn, leathers almost sliced through, my armor practically shattered...I'm fixing the damage. I liked this outfit after all."

Well he did have a point there, she had to admit that fact. Yelling would only make her yell back louder, chastising she'd probably just laugh off, though that's what she had expected and she didn't believe he'd use physical means of anything. That wasn't Sevilin's way and he'd gone through it one too many times himself to inflict it on another. "Oh...well in that case..." She felt guilt course through her though knowing that she'd placed his baby in danger, not to mention herself, and hadn't adhered exactly to her terms of the deal. And with him choosing not to 'punish' her, she felt even worse. "Nevertheless, I apologize for my stupid and irresponsible behavior and I just want you to know that it wasn't Arthur's fault. The blame is solely mine and I alone will bear it." She watched his arm move in the up and down motion of sewing and bit her lip for a moment. Should she offer to help? Or just leave him alone?

"Very well..." If she wanted to apologize then she could apologize now couldn't she? Though he gave no other sign to her of rejecting that apology that she set forth to him, merely kept focused on what he was doing. She was being so noble wasn't she? Thinking she could shoulder it all on her own and take all the blame from the other. He didn't see it that way.
Then he looked up to her, letting his eyes meet and hold hers. And in those jewel colored eyes she would find they were as unguarded as ever...and showing just as much. A show of disappointment in her, unfaultering in the emotion, for doing something so horribly brash and childish on her half. He knew how to get to her...and it wasn't with words. "Anything else?"

She had been about to turn and leave since obviously there was nothing else to really do when he looked up at her and the sight of those blood red eyes so full of that negative emotion stopped her dead in her tracks. She thought she gasped but wasn't quite sure. How could such a blatant emotion that she'd seen many times before stop her so coldly? She simply stared at him for a long moment and then backed up a bit almost feeling her eyes filling. Blinking quickly just in case, she swallowed though the tremor was in her voice and she hated it. "N-no..." A slow shake of her head before she licked her lips and said softly, "That's it." In that moment she would have done anything to rid his eyes of that look, anything. Dejected and uncertain she turned and walked out of the library. The crux of the matter was relatively simple. She'd never had someone disappointed in her before. At least not like this. Her sister and mother had often got angry with her, claimed disappointment but they'd never looked at her like that. It cut her straight through and she did indeed wipe away a tear after she'd left the library. She sat by herself for a long time at teh dining room table, just thinking. Why had she done something so stupid? What felt like hours but was probably only minutes passed and she finally felt ready to face Arthur. He had some property of hers to return after all. Knocking on his door, she called out, "Arthur...we need to talk..."

Arthur had gotten up awhile ago and spent most of the time in his room, he had no special reason to leave except get food when he needed to and he did not want to see Sevilin at all incase things might happen between the two of them. Zahara was another story, thinking back to yesterday he did a stupid move in making that tornado and it hurt her plain and simple; he had no control over his magic and he did pay the price when Sevilin came to take care of her. Arthur sighed lightly as he moved around the room, he needed to think of what to do next right now, well first off is to just not talk to Sevilin for a bit he did not need that kind of drama; two maybe he should go talk to Zahara, there may be things that she would want to talk to him as well. As if on cue there was a knock at his door and Zahara's voice could be heard on the other side, looks like he'll be able to do the second part sooner than he thought. Slowly he made his way to the door and opened it quietly. He was dressed in a pair of black pants and a normal white t-shirt since he never liked walking around nude in his room. "Yes please come in Zahara." He stepped back lightly and extended his arm inwards to his room.

She strolled into the room and took a seat on the bed, watching him closely for a few moments. Where to begin? There was so much she felt like she needed to discuss with him but the biggest was to alleviate any worry he might be feeling over the fight. "Arthur, as in terms of our deal, I will not call you Galesen. You won the fight through your own power and I gracefully concede. Please don't feel bad about what happened. I never should have challenged you or asked you to do it knowing your new status in training in magic with my condition. The truth is I couldn't stop that tornado you drew up without channeling some serious power that coudl have really hurt the baby." She shook her head briefly, that look in Sevilin's eyes causing her to shudder for a moment. "Sevilin is more angry with me than you though. I know he did some things that probably don't make much sense to you and I know your'e probably very angry with him. But I'm here to ask you to let it go. Attacking Sevilin or getting angry with him will do you no good." How to explain this to him? "He's a drow, Arthur and you're not used to dealing with them. You aren't used to our kind at all and because of it you seem to get so defensive whenever you get around us. Why is that?" Her voice was calm, her words had been thought out and concise. She needed answers and she wanted to give him teh same courtesy without it seeming like she was doing so. It was not an easy task.

Arthur quietly closed the door behind him and locked it so no one would come in and bug them, slowly he turned around to see Zahara sitting on his bed and not wanting to impose anything he just slumped against his door and slid down until he hit the floor. Arthur waved his hand a little bit towards Zahara and shook his head. "Listen even though in your condition you could have not stopped the tornado I still feel like it's my fault, I use the tornado instead of using lets say a water spell and then the damn thing got out of control, so on my behalf you can call me Galesen if you want." He did not care about the terms of the deal they made before the fight, he was just happy that Zahara was okay and he didn't hurt her or the baby that much; but boy did he feel like an idiot. But then Zahara went off about the whole part of him shouting at Sevilin, the man just threw him around like a damn doll and not care what happened afterwards; why did Sevilin want Arthur to hate him so much? Slowly he moved his eyes down to the ground and just sat there without saying a damn word for a bit then sighed. "I'm not trying defensive around you Zahara, you're great to be around and things are good when I talk to you." he paused for a moment to look at her then slowly looked away to the wall. "He just always seems to bug me about everything I say or do, never leaving it alone always wanting to know why I do this or that and after he took you away he told me to say sorry to him and if I didn't then do my ideals change? He seems to want me to hate him even when I tried to be nice to him before all of this." Arthur paused for a moment, he did not want Zahara to feel like he was going to start yelling at her, that be the last thing he wanted to do. "He keeps on looking down at me like Im nothing and no matter how hard I try it's not like I'll ever get out of that damn shadow he has cast over me."

Zahara raised an eyebrow though she'd address the name thing later. "Yes it was probably foolish to try and control the wind and that's one reason why I was in the air. But it was my fault for asking you to do what you are in no frame of mind to do. I needed a friendly duel and thinking I could help you practice I chose you. But what I forgot and because I did, it almost cost me the child's life, is that a helper or trainer must be ready for all possibilities. I wasn't and I am in no condition to be engaging in such activities with you like that. That being said, I want no more said on the subject. Everyone has apologized and that's enough." Thus getting to the crux of the matter. "That's just it Arthur, that is what I"m talking about. You don't understand Sevilin or the way his mind works. Sevilin does not like, in fact to be totally frank, he abhors anything that came from the surface and I'm sure he has a good reason for that. I believe it has something to do with betrayal of some sort..." she mused recalling earlier conversations where he'd alluded to just such a thing. But shaking her head she continued, "Anyway, the point is, Sev has not cast a shadow over you Arthur, you're doing that yourself by trying to compare yourself to him. He looks down on you because you don't act as one with your...ears should." This was getting on to more and more delicate things really. "You are an elf, Galesen Coldiron. You were raised by humans but you were connected with your natural parents. You know their names, faces, and personalities just as well as you know your own. Why do you continously throw that away for these humans? You've said before that your adopted parents are dead. Honor their memory if you wish but if you want to be treated like an elf, act like one." She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear then leaned back on his bed. "Drow don't treat humans with respect, we never have and we never will. Our first reaction is to slay a human and giggle as they die. In our minds we are above the humans. We are stronger, faster, more virile and have far more endurance. Why should we show deference to those beneath us?" And then to hit her point home she brought in the last phrase. "You hold so tightly to human ideals and you act like one. Why shouldn't you get the same treatment any human who passed through our gates would?"

Arthur sighed lightly as he lightly listened to Zahara's words, she was putting the blame of the fight on herself but Arthur felt so bad for placing her life and her child's in danger. But as always he had to let the topic go since Zahara didn't want him to talk about it; it's not like he could say another word about it everything was brought out and now it had to be laid to rest. But what she said next made him shuffle in his spot a little. "Okay that may be true but the same thing goes for me too, I may not understand Sevilin but that doesn't mean he understand all of me; I may have said some things about my life but there is still a lot more he does not know about. My parents may have been from the surface but I have been raised here, I'm not like every single surface elf." He looked at Zahara with a blank expression on is face, so he had created that shadow and have tried to compared himself to Sevilin. But after hearing that come from someone else he should just stop trying to compare himself to the drow and just do what he needs to do, focus on training his magic abilities and learn how to control them better, no need to worry on how Sevilin may be with his skills. Then she went on how he should act more like an elf and cast away what he was taught before hand by his human parents. She may say that he knew his real parents names and faces but he only had that one moment when he heard his name and that was that, he never saw thing else when he was in reverie again. Everytime he was in reverie that's all he saw was his human family and all the memories that he had with them, he never saw anything else. "The reason why I hold on so tightly to these ideals of those who are 'beneath' us is because that is all I know of, I go into reverie and I never see my real parents, always my human parents and all the good and bad times we had. They could have just left me there to die on that boat but they didn't." Arthur's one eye looked over at his katana which leaned against the wall. Why do they want me to give up everything and start over again? He just waited for a moment before looking back at Zahara with that blank look again he seemed to be lost deep in thought and after a bit he let out a huff of air as a look in his eye showed that he came to the truth of what he should do. "Though I wish I never had to place aside what they taught me..." he lightly sighed and stood up brushing some dirt off his pants. "I guess I have to if it's the only way I can move on, it may take awhile but it'll happen." Slowly he moved and grabbed his katana looking at it for a bit. Thanks for everything, for all that I learned. I will not let this one last piece of my family go away that I promise. Quietly he moved over to a chair which had his pants hanging off of it and grabbed them. A few seconds later he pulled out two daggers and walked back to Zahara. Holding them out handle first he looked at her with a small smile. "You forgot these."

Malik's silence was not brushing her off or anything of the like. he was simply silent. through the day Malik's time was spent getting his home back in proper order, and making sure things were done that needed done. such as food being sent out to the Purians, and that Meilikki, when she was ready, woudl have decent travel accomodations. but the next day, after Piper's morning of throwing up, Malik's eyes opened nad he leaned forward, sitting up in bed slightly...though he was already out and about before he got to say anything. Honestly he was growing frustrated. Necromanctic flare to his fingers, watching the wisps of green energy before tracing his finger along his chest in a series of symbols. adding to the previous ones, scribing a spell to himself and letting it fade and do what it was supposed to be doing.
Then he got up, not bothering with clothes save for loose fitting pants. Future trips to Andal needed to be ready for, so that ment getting more viscous mana vials. message to jiscal that they woudl be attending his little party. and getting some china patterns for Piper to go through to look at since she obviously wanted new china. And for now, breakfast.

She sighed, clearly he wasn't following what she was telling him. "Arthur, I never said to completely get rid of your human parents. I understand that to you they mean everything and after spending some time with Piper's parents, I can see why. Yes, you should still love them or whatever it is that you do but you can't act like a human amongst a bunch of drow and get upset when we treat you like one. You may not be a surface elf but you look like one and that's enough for Sevilin. His past goes deep and there's a lot of things that have nothing to do with you or I that he gets wary about. After five hundred years of constant ridicule, beatings, and betrayal you would be wary about it happening again as well. He is the way he is but he's not a bad elf. He's one of the best..." She took her daggers from him and sheathed them, then cupped his cheeks in her hands, kissing him gently on the lips. "My end of the deal has been held up. Good day...Arthur." She wasn't going to force him to use his elven name, that had to be his choice, his sacrifice. What was in a name anyway? Hers was Val'ril for goodness sakes. "And don't worry about your magic training. You'll get it, you just need a teacher. I can't do it because I'm pregnant but I'm sure if you ask around someone would be willing to teach you." Thus she smiled and turned around, leaving his room. That sense of despair washed over her again when she found herself with nothing to do and her teeth bit into her bottom lip knowing Sevilin felt the way he did. Would she ever be redeemed in his eyes? Maybe if she offered help..? So she walked back to the library and stood there, not quite meeting his gaze just in case that disappointment was still there. "Can I...help...?"
