That he would actually connect magics with her was astounding in particular. She was a highly powerful mage in her own right and that was without adding in the blessings of Eili. She kept up her own side still linked with the lightning, not pushing just watching him. She could hear the sizzle and spark as the corresponding sparks fought for dominance. If she wanted it to, hers would win. As a result she was still holding the connection when he abruptly broke it and then did something that seriously tipped the scales in his favor. She hadn't anticipated that he might use wind, hadn't figured he could manipulate it yet since that was a little harder to control but he had and now she was facing a dust tornado. She could try to rain it down but it was moving too fast for her and gathering speed. The corresponding wind that was building into it was already playing havoc with her levitation until she was sucked right into the tornado itself. Spinning violently in the air, the dust stinging her eyes and blinding her, she desperately fought for control but was outmaneuvered. The tornado continued on it's path until it hit the wall and was absorbed. Unfortunately she wasn't quite so lucky. Slamming back into it and already dizzy and discombobulated she dropped to the ground in a heap and moaned softly. By Eili that one hurt. "Good job...Arthur..." she whispered. Her head was protesting and the baby was unhappy as well, not to mention she was probably bruised by the various dirt balls that had pelted her within the tornado itself.

Arthur had a good feeling that he could control the tornado and made it as light as he could so Zahara would have an easy time to get rid of it; after all she was way more powerful than him. But once he released it something felt wrong, really wrong and he noticed that the tornado had grown stronger as it made its way towards Zahara. "No damn it!" he shouted and tried to pull it back but the dust tornado was too strong and Zahara disappeared inside of it, Arthur tried harder to stop it he tried to hard that his feet was dragged a little by the winds emitted from the tornado. His arms felt like they were on fire as the tornado moved towards the wall and when it hit it Arthur wasn't ready for the release and fell backward. With a light groan Arthur quickly pulled himself too his feet and looked forward to see Zahara covered and dust and maybe even bruises by the tornado. Letting out a small cry Arthur ran as fast as he could to the female drow and knelt next to her when he had gotten close. "Oh god damn it! Zahara are you okay!? I'm sorry for what happened!" Why? Why the hell did he use the tornado? He was only trying to have some fun with her he never meant for this to happen! Arthur slowly lifted Zahara's head so he could get a good look at her. "Zahara are you and the baby alright?" He asked, his voice was set to worry and he was know kneeling completely in the dirt next to her, hoping he had not done enough damage to both Zahara and her child.

There was a certain things about runes...they could be in any room and no one would know unless they had the sense to know that they were. And even then they could be masked to appear dormant. But Sevilin's weren't and they were quick to alert him to such things, sudden changes in actions or feelings being spiked to him and told him to pay attention.
Therefore it didn't take him long to get up and make his way back down there just to see what was going on. Let's see...Zahara slumped against the wall, Arthur next to her, evidence of wind born magics as well as the general feel of it in the air, lack of small footprints in the sand. Didn't take much for him to put two and two together.
And before both Zahara and Arthur would know it, he would walk over purposefully and snatch Arthur away from her, chucking him a good distance away before a hand motion and a heat on Arthur's forehead would start and then a quick hand motion again to slam the elf into the wall and hold him there, boots of the ground. Rope rune, fun.
So there he stood, one hand bearing a rune and holding Arthur captive by it, Sevilin standing in rather defensive posture in front of Zahara, interposed between the two. And he didn't say a word, merely narrowed his eyes at the young human raised elf, the red perhaps darkening from a clear ruby to a deep blood red, posture clearly speaking of him being hostiel. He liked his prey to try and verbally get away...it was just fun to hear the hold he had.

She moaned again as his voice felt magnified hundreds of times to her sensitive ears. "Stop yelling, Arthur...please." Reaching back she ran her fingers over the back of her head and studied them through the grime on her hands. Blood. The dust remained in her nose and throat and she couhged once and waved a hand in front of her face, slowly recognizing the sounds that were now going on. A pair of legs came into her immediate field of vision and she knew Sevilin had arrived. Oh gods. She pushed herself to a sitting position and leaned her head back against the wall, taking in a great gulp of air and choking on the dust that had made its way into her throat. She felt like she'd swallowed a desert and ironically she supposed she had. "Sevilin," she forced out licking her lips and tasting more dirt. Forcing herself to blink away the tears that had been conjured to alleviate the dust in her eyes she forced herself to focus on what was going on. "Let him go...my fault..."

Arthur looked at Zahara with horror across his face, god why did he use his wind magic? he should of just stuck with his fire spells. He was thinking about how he could move her so she could get to a healer when suddenly he was yanked away by some powerful magic, before he had time to react he felt something warm on his forehead and it was bugging him so much he grunted in a bit of pain; but that didn't bother him when he was slammed up against the wall. His breath was taken away when he felt himself getting pressed up against the wall and every time he tried to move he couldn't it felt too tight. When he opened his eye he saw Sevilin standing in between him and Zahara and he noticed that a rune was activated; so he was the one who was holding him against the wall that son of a b***h! He felt the man's eyes staring at him and all he did was stare right back, why the hell was he just standing there? Zahara should be taken to a healer right away! "What the hell is wrong with you Sevilin!? I was going to take her to a damn healer let me go she's badly hurt!!!" Damn drow thinking he was all high and mighty! "Damn it let me go Sevilin now!!!" His eyes were burning with anger and all he wanted was to make sure Zahara was alright.

"She wouldn't be that way if you knew what you were doing. Idiot boy, do you know nothing? No better an elf even after all this time, nor a human for that matter...even they know levitation's downfall is the lack of anchorage and a good breeze is enough. A friendly duel...ha." Though yes, Arthur did make a good point about Zahara, whom his eyes turned to at the sound of her voice. What? She thought she was getting away scott free? No, she wansn't either...he just couldn't vent on her.
But his eyes turned back to Arthur, watching her a moment before just for the hell of it, he tightened his hold on that rune and then yanked, more or less yanking him off the wall to slam him into the dirt. That done he merely let things go and turned on his heel to kneel down next to Zahara. A reach into one of his belt pouches and he pulled out a rather familiar little teardrop shaped stone, pushing it into her mouth so that it was held in her cheek. "Swallow."

And he was yelling again...why did he feel the need to yell? Her head protested strongly at the sound of raised voices and she closed her eyes even while she winced. Headache potion would be good right now. Sadly she didn't think she could swallow anything with he mouth and throat as dry as it was. She felt those eyes trained on her and kept herself from meeting his gaze. She'd crossed the bridge and it had fallen out from beneath her. Now she was going to be forced to take the consequences, whatever those happened to be. She wasn't quite sure what he was doing, she only saw his hand moving and hten something shoved into her mouth. He told her to swallow but she shook her head, she couldn't, it would hurt too much without liquid and she couldn't swallow what he'd shoved in anyway as it was lodged in her cheek. Her tongue slipped over in that direction experimentally though she only felt a cool stone lodged there. That was strange...But she thought it wise not to fight him so she swallowed, even while her throat protested until cool, clean water filled her mouth and throat erasing all traces of the dust as it went down. A terra bud drop. How lovely. She'd been apprised of the stone's interesting effect on Andal and knew all about it though she hadn't known that was what Sevilin shoved into her mouth. She reached out and grasped his arm, shaking her head. Arthur hadn't been at fault for this. She'd instigated it even knowing that his magic wasn't quite up to par.

"You think I didn't know that!? That tornado was suppose to be weak, weak enough for her just to push it away with ease, it was suppose to be a distraction but it got too strong and I couldn't stop it!" Arthur tried harder to struggled out of the grasp Sevilin had on him with his rune magic. But then he felt the grip of the rune tighten even more making what breath he had to be forced out and was not ready to be yanked off and slammed straight into the ground. After that he felt the bond break and was finally able to breath, he took a few deep breaths as pain from hitting the wall and the floor was now starting to show themselves. He grunt in pain as he rolled over so his head arms and legs were supporting him and he started to cough uncontrollably. Slowly he turned his eye over to look at Zahara and Sevilin, looks like that damn drow was able to help her. Compared to what Sevilin knows and does he is completely more powerful than Arthur would ever be. What's the point anymore? I'm too weak... slowly he turned his head away as he grabbed his side and groaned lightly in pain again.

"Weak is not the point. Weak is enough." He was pissed as hell...yet unlike Arthur he had never raised his voice above what he normally spoke in. If he was in a better mood or less occupied, he may of taken more frustration out on Arthur...but there was no sport in messing with those that wouldn't fight back too hard. Not to mention that Zahara's words and insistant gestures made him stay his hand from the boy.
But Zahara was focus of his attention now. His hand moving to her head, fingers easily picking up th blood on the back of her head. He shook his head and merely mumbled a few things in his native tongue, then slipped an arm under her knees and around her back, lifting him up into his arms, holding her against his chest. A look to Arthur then. "You still have a lot to learn."
Before making his way off with Zahara, taking her to her room and grabbing a slave on the way to get her cleaned up. Of course he stayed in the room until he knew she was settled to his standards and then rather forcefully told the slave that was there to keep and eye on her and pretty much cater to her every whim, petty or not. As for him...well he made his way back downstairs to Arthur, coming to stand in front of him. "Get up."

Arthur growled deeply, Sevilin is just talking to him like he was nothing at all, but what about him? Arthur could easily bet that Sevilin may have screwed up a lot worse when he was young and he gotten punished for it. The young elf coughed a few more times and slowly started to make his way to where he left his katana, might as well take it before someone might grab it and screw around with it; though Sevilin's words before he left bugged him a little. There wont be anything to learn anymore, I am done with magic completely! he waited until the man left so he can continue his way to get his blade. By the time he reached it Sevilin came back and was standing in front of him, but before he got up he grabbed Zahara's daggers and slipped them into his pockets before grabbing his katana and slowly standing up. "What do you want?" honestly if Sevilin was going to put Arthur down again he'll just tell the drow to go to hell, he doesn't need his s**t right now he already feels bad enough for hurting Zahara.

He watched him with a scrutinizing gaze of one who had seen perhap too much. And Sevilin waited for him to get up before saying anything, lightly crossing his arms over his chest. "You know...for one who speaks so highly of his morals and what not I have yet to hear you utter an apology to me...which you do owe me, whether you think it or not." Of course he was going to bank on the elf's 'sense of justice' or whatever it was he called it.
"Though I suppose I won't be getting one now will I? No...you probably think I don't deserve one. Do your ideals change now? Those precious little human ideals that there is good in every person and everyone can be excused of thier actions? Go on...say you don't hate me. That you can actually stand me....that you can't think ill of me. Even if I can claim my own actions in defense of me and mine. Well? I'm waiting..."

Arthur face was set into glare mode and was kept in glare mode as Sevilin went on and on about how he should apologize to him for what he had done in the first place and after hearing all this Arthur did come to one conclusion. Sevilin was right but still Arthur wasn't going to be all nice to him for being thrown against the wall. "Oh no your right you know, I should apologize to you because of what I have done, you gave me a fair warning of what trouble that could happen and I didn't listen so you know what? I'm sorry Sevilin for not listening to you in the first place because now I have this to worry about hanging over my head alright? So I'm sorry for everything Sevilin."
Though there was a short pause before Arthur started to speak again. "But you know what? Instead of slamming me against the wall, burning my forehead, squeezing me and slamming me back into the ground you could have just asked me to step aside and say that you were here to help Zahara." His one eye was still glaring at the man, hate was burning in him right now but he didn't need to cause any problem. "So I believe that you should apologize for doing that to me when I was trying to help Zahara in the first place." The grip on his katana was tight, so tight that it actually started to shake just a little bit as he waited.

Sevilin only chuckled. He knew not what he spoke. Did his apology mean anything? Probably not without that attitude, the boy had not restraint when it came to such things it seemed. But that wasn't Sevilin's problem now was it?
It was funny though, how Arthur answered not a one of his previous questions...went to show that the boy was stuck in foolish mind set...and that meant he was forever exposing a bare back to any a knife which may want to plunge into it. Those who saw no evil in the world were the first to succumb to it. It was simple as that.
"I thought it better to get your attention. And touch your forehead, there's not a mark on you...runes merely generate a small amount of heat, that's all. Be happy you are an elf...or at least seem to be...because you may be dead right now. That was merely child's play. You'll get no apology from me...you brought your just desserts upong yourself, to which you have already stated that you know that. I shall not apologize for what you knew was coming. You're playing with the big boys now...time to grow up. Next time I won't be so easy on you."
He would of told him to stay away from Zahara period, but she wouldn't appreciate that much so instead it was a fair warning that was given to him and a disapproving look before Sevilin turned on his boot heel and headed from the arena. He would dig into Arthur no more this night...he had other matters to attend to.

Arthur's apology had meant something but he was angry at what Sevilin had done to him that he couldn't control how the hell he was saying it, he was sorry for causing all of this s**t to happen but he still believe that even though he was given a fair warning he should have not been thrown around like that. Again Sevilin mocked at his ideals that he learned from his human parents, just what the hell was he suppose to do? Become another Sevilin? Become cold and a a** towards everyone else, even though he's not as bad as Malik.
When Sevilin left Arthur just stood there his anger still bugging him until he walked away not even looking back to the arena. It was a damn mistake coming here, it was a huge ******** mistake. I could never even beat Sevilin no matter how hard I try he'll always be there to mock me about everything that I care about. He looks at me like some damn mistake, like everything about me is a mistake. Arthur wanted to scream but that would give Sevilin what he wanted. Instead he headed to his room, when he reached it he slammed the door behind him before proceeding to head to the washroom and cleaning himself of the dust and dirt he picked up from the arena, not minding the wounds he got from Sevilin slamming him against the wall.

She'd protested only slightly when Sevilin had lifted her to carry her off to her room. Truthfully she didn't think she could make it by herself, what with her head feeling like it had been bludgeoned by a very large rock. In effect that's exactly what had happened, merely a wall made of very large rocks instead of just one. A warm bath erased any traces of dust and blood that had coated her skin from the arena but it couldn't erase the memory nor her feelings of it. Of course once she was settled in bed her mind took over and cajoled her into reverie. First she ordered a remedy for her pounding head. She 'slept' fitfully, remaining in the trancelike state for well over the needed hours and when her eyes finally reopened, she was feeling far better. Her head was no longer pounding thanks to the potion she'd forced down the evening before and even the baby seemed to have settled from the upset. Physically, she was alright. There were a few sore spots on her body, the likely bruises though she'd never know for sure as her skin was too dark to evidence discoloration, mostly on her arms and legs. Thankfully her stomach had been spared of an assault, through chance or divine intervention she couldn't be sure. Slipping out of bed she dressed rather quickly, choosing another of her Andallian outfits out of the vast wardrobe she'd acquired. A large number of them had veiling added for the time during her pregnancy though that same veiling could be removed if she so desired when it no longer was necessary. Elven handiwork, in the ways of weaponry or basic stitching was truly a remarkable thing. She recieved word of all that had occurred the evening prior after she'd been removed from the scene and became torn between the tremedous tasks before her. Amends would need to be made with Galesen, as it had not been his fault. Arthur is his name, you claim no right to call him by his given... The thought protruded, a cruel reminder of what had been at stake on a friendly duel. She'd ante up as was her duty by virtue of agreement. But first, the other she'd wronged deserved her attention. She'd placed herself in danger and almost gone back on another deal she'd made, that of delivering a healthy and hale baby to Sevilin in another six months. The thought of facing him now brought her undue distress, she'd much rather remain in her room though she knew that was not a possibility. She'd made her choice. Now it had to be owned up to. Slowly she left the safety of her chamber and made her way downstairs to his normal haunt. If he wasn't already in the library, he would be shortly. Using his previous actions as her guide she walked to the door and knocked softly.
