Especially up in Soviet Canuckistan... She might go in for it to be looked at and be waiting in reception for 3 days while her foot rots off. I hope she is okay - she's a good one.

Do you remember I made a suggested comment to the Gaia Team about the avi arena? Well, I received the email but it looks like it's a "wait and see" process:
Hello,
Thank you for your suggestion.
We will forward this to the appropriate team.
Feature: Avi Arena > > Problem: Unfair Voting/Rating System > > Scenario: I'm an avid Avi Arena contestant and this the 7th avi to > enter the arena. The problem that I'm having is that not too many > people read the contestants' descriptions. To me, that's really > unfair especially those who have the best descriptions ended up in > the bottom of the ranking even though their avi matches to the > description. > > Suggestion: Add a Voting/Rating to the Description Box. This is > something similar to the Figure Skating Competion (Technical + > Artistic = Overall Scoring) or the Beauty Pageant (Questionaire + > Talent + Outfit = Overall Scoring). So if you add the Description > and the Avi together, you would get an overall scoring for that avi > which I find it fair. > > I really don't want to see someone's hard work with the Description go > down the drain. Thanks for your time to read this suggestion. Take > care and have a nice day!
I hope the team accepts it... *crosses fingers*

Nice idea FLE! I hope they implement it! biggrin
So so sorry to keep you guys in the dark like that!! I had work and don't get on the 'net as much on work nights because it's stressful and tiring. sweatdrop I'm off now for a few days thank goodness.
I did go upstairs on my shift on Saturday, they looked at it and said the one cut I was kind of worried about couldn't be stitched as it would pull on it too much to close it, so polysporin and a bandaid and keep it clean and all is well. The other two cuts aren't so bad so no worries there. They said I was due for my next tetanus shot though and gave me it, so I had a brused muscle in my arm to go with a sore foot ~laughs~ Otherwise I'm fine, though everyone kept asking me what was wrong because I was limping (one of the cuts is on the underside of my foot so I can't really walk on it) xd

good to hear Gem... it is now clean and healing properly, and I HATE tetanus shots!
This chat thread has become second choice, to the race to 1000 posts huh?

Gem - thanks for catching us up with how you're doing. I'm so glad it wasn't more serious.
I think I'm due for another tetanus shot myself. eep!

Glad to year you are doing good Gem! *hugs*
I got my tetanus shot last year. I rarely get any side effects from it. Not even a bruise which is odd since I get massive bruises when they take a blood test from me. Also I get an allergic reaction from the tape they use to bind the wound so my arm looks rather interesting after blood tests. whee

my only real problem with drug tests, or IVs, or anything vein related, is finding a vein. LOts and lots and lots of poking. Ugh.
