It implies it, but not not state it. If you're getting a month for 15 dollars, as long as they credit you for that month, they are perfectly clear and legal. Whether you use that month or not, is up to you.
Our entire Business Law class was up in arms over it. We actually had another professor have to come in and tell us to calm down.
In most cases, they will credit you back and talk to your bank about clearing things up. But if they didn't want to, they wouldn't have to. And some unscrupulous companies have done it before for quick revenue and nothing was ever done.
*really off to work*

Now this is just Blizzards, I cba to look at Mythics thing. But it's likely similar and I'd say this major issue would likely fall under: Quote: Limitation of Liability. As regards the online service provided by Blizzard Entertainment Europe, for damages or compensation of unavailing expenditures, whatever the legal basis including tort may be, the following rules apply: Blizzard Entertainment Europe may only be liable in cases of where it is adjudged that Blizzard: (i) engaged in intentionally damaging conduct; (ii) was grossly negligent; And Quote: You hereby agree to pay all charges incurred by the Account, including applicable taxes, in accordance with billing terms for access to the Service that are in effect at the time that the fee or charge becomes payable. I'd say if a company tried to not refund, and fight it in court, those would stand against them. Though, no company is that stupid.

I imagine it'll all get sorted out, and people will get their money back, but that will do little to compensate people who were not prepared for this hit like the few who posted "I CANT FEED MY KIDS TONIGHT" and will cause checks to bounce and stuff like that.
There's no way they're not going to refund everyone, but there's also no way they're not going to lose a ton of players over it.

Yeah, that must suck for the ones who it completely drained their account. Definitely losing players. And apparently it's happened before as well.
I laughed at one of the posts, the guy was saying he called his bank and the bank was like "Is this about Mythic?"

Screw automatic pay. I'm one of the few ones who don't do that service, and rather pay actively every month. That way, I can keep up with my expenses and keep responsibility.
