Bellino raised an eyebrow at Zeek. "I'd prefer not to. The last time I fixed him up, he took a bite of my arm," he said, fixing a parental glare on his brother. Kenet glared back. "But, considering that I have help this time, I suppose I can fix him up. You hold him, I'll check him over."
"Why must it be you?" Kenet said harshly, clutching Zeek. Bellino ignored him as he rolled his shirt sleeves up over his elbows.
"Hold him horizontal on the couch, would you, Zeek?"

Zeek nodded and did as he was told. He put a hand over Kenet's mouth, if he was going to bite anyone, it would be him.

Sino shivered and cuddled closer, running a hand up and down his arm.

((mk my worning is because of how close it is and how lots of people like to get started erlier pleeeeeeesss plllleeeesss do not and i reapet do not wish me a happy valintines day unless you want me in more of a deep dark deepresing mood then i will al ready be in k sweatdrop ))

Kenet whimpered softly as Zeek covered his mouth, but he lay still as Bellino slid his hands up his sides, checking for damage internally finding none, he motioned for Zeek to turn him over. "Sometimes, if our wing in damaged and we're not aware of it, it could get infected and cause sickness, like a papercut," he said, examining Kenet's wings. "Ah, there." He pointed to an inflamed tear along the edge of his brother's wing.
"Right then. Zeek, I'm going to need some hot water and a paintbrush. Any brush will do."

Eternity walked back into the tavern, wiping the last of blood on her sleeve.
She sighed, looking at least fifteen now, and sat down on a couch.

Zeek nodded and cringed as he summoned a shadow double to get a thing of hot water and one of the paint brushes from his own room. The double brought them back to Bellino.

Bellino smiled at the clone, then set the bowl of water on the floor so that his hands were free. He straddle Kenet, sitting on his legs. "Hold him. This will hurt," he warned Zeek. Kenet, in response, cried out and began to struggle. Bellino sucked on the bristle of the paintbrush, then caught Kenet's injured wing in his fingers. "Hold him perfectly still. If I miss... well, let's just go with the fact that I don't want to miss."
