Boyfriend's neighbour's wife must be out. He's started playing his country and western music really loudly again. I can hear it over the TV. It drives me mad. Its so horrible. WHY?! WHY?!

I think I just did something very stupid. My house backs to a street, there's about twenty or thirty feet beyond our fence that's woods and a public path, but aside from the path itself, it's our property all the way to the road. I was in the kitchen and heard a girl yelling for someone else to get away. So I went out our back gate, and there was a girl and a boy, probably high schoolers, and I told him to get off of my property (though the path isn't). Only I used some not-so-nice words to say it. Anyway, I let the girl go through the yard to the front, she said she lived one street over. I really don't know what I was thinking. I guess I wasn't. I mean, I was in the kitchen, I could've grabbed a knife or something. I'm glad nothing bad happened, and I don't know what any of it was about, but gosh, I feel like that was a stupid thing to do. I guess I can understand why maybe some people choose to own guns.
I still feel all shaky from the adrenaline.
