Kiyo was at a loss of what to do. She didn't want to do anything without Okaa's permission (i think you only add 'san' when you're talking to them), but she was not in.

Umeko then entered the long hall containing the Geisha and maiko rooms, setting the bucket down, she dipped the rag into the warm water and began to scrub the hallway floor.

Ayame seemed a little surprised, and then smiled warmly. "I'll teach you to read the alphabet," she began, "But when you reach the stage of a maiko, you'll have to go on by yourself with the help of a geisha." she ended her decision with a charming smile, and folded her hands in her lap.

Hara~Chiaki walked out into the garden...and walked over to the nearest tree... and keeled under it... She sat there a long time thinking... I hope I find out what my duties are soon...and also where I'll be sleeping...she stopped thinking for a second... and looked over at the other women in the garden....

Amattyan finally sat down on the back porch for a second. Not sure what exactly she was needed to do. She began lightly playing with the hem of her Kimono. "I wonder if they need any help in the kitchen.." She stood up and entered the kitchen, smiling. "Does anyone in here need any help..?"

Omny made herself comftarble and nodded with a sirious look on her face "tach me, miss Ayame." She turned to Ayame and looked straight at her hopping she could teach her and she could understand. Omny had this litle problem of mixing languches when she learned a new one, she would be speeking in russianand some how an English word would pop up.

Rune walked up to her new home,she was so excited that her hands very shaking. "calm down Rune" she said to herself taking in a deep breath. She slid open the screen door walking inside she saw the house was very busy. She slipped of her geta and stepped onto the cold and shinning floor. "hello is there anyone that can help me?" She said calmly trying to stay out of the peoples way.

Rune saw that everyone was busy so looking around she spotted the house slippers. Slipping them on she carried her bag and went upstairs,she looked around for the maids room so she could set down her stuff and get to work. She went past three rooms seeing that they had many things,like make-up,kimonos,and magazines. She knew they were the maiko or geisha rooms, finally coming to the end of the hallway she read a little sign saying "maid courters"
Rune slid open the door and found her futon,she placed her things down and changed into her maid uniform.

When Rune finished she slid open the door and walked back down the hallway,and to the front. "where should I start?" Rune said looking around finally making up her mind to sweep the back and then wash the floor. She went to to kichtion seeing there was broom,she took it. Making her way to the back she remembered that she was wearing her indoor shoes. Quickly she walked back to the front and put them on,but so she didn't have to go back to the front she brought her indoor shoes and sat them away in front of the doorway. So people could trip on them and she get into trouble.

She began to sweep,the sun was very bright at sometimes that she couldn't see. Rune looked around seeing that she was almost done "almost done,and then i've have to wash the floors" She said sweeping the pile of dirt out onto the grass. Finally down sweeping she sat down for a second and looked at the beautiful garden. Standing back up she changed her shoes and put away the broom. She looked around the kichtion for the bucket and rag,but she couldn't find them. So she went to look some where else "where could that bucket and rag be" She wondered.

Rune found the bucket which was in a closet,and the rag where all the laundry was. "ok now to get some water and clean" Rune put the rag inside the bucket and carried it to the sink,she filled the bucket halfway so she wouldn't spill it everywhere. Picking up the water she carried it the floor,the weight was heavy so she carried it with two hands. Finding a spotting she set the bucket down lightly. "man that was heavier than I excepted,I guess I forgot how heavy they can be sometimes." Rune said laughing lightly to herself. She pulled out the rag and began clean the floor.
