"And since it's filled with so many of my fond memories, so being here makes me happy," Nova said with his eyes shut. He wondered if it made Mitsuki happy at all. It had filled his heart with warmth. Just the sight of the tree was enough to make his mind, body and soul feel good. Leaning against the other, the vampire looked at Mitsuki. "I like the quiet. It helps me think and solve my problems. I've done that many times here," he mumbled and sat up. The vampire got to his feet and looked down at his human. "The other good thing about it is that you can climb the tree and look over the forest." He looked around for a branch that could be gripped. But, there were no branches to grab. It had been nearly one hundred years since he last visited. The only reason he used to come was to pray for his fallen love. He giggled. Everyone used to call her his angel, so when she died, they called her "Nova's fallen angel" as a respectful term throughout the Kalika clan. Most of them hoped that he would choose her and take the lead position of the clan when he was old enough, but then she died, and he refused to take anyone. As the years passed, his body needed blood, and he became ill. Then that night where he met Mitsuki came, and he was desperate. It was all an accident, but it was the best accident that had ever happened to him in his one-hundred-fifty some odd years. The vampire had forgotten about climbing the tree as he was nostalgic, his mind racing with the pleasent thoughts of the past.

Mitsuki sighed and looked all around, this was quiet and peaceful. He never been to a place so quiet. He sighed and smiled, it was nice to be here with Nova. He looked over at Nova, who seemed to be in deep thought. He smiled, "Yeah, must be a nice view..."

(( 'Tis okay, Tuna. Writer's block is understandable. I just feel like writing a lot... ^^;; ))
Nova was snapped back to the present as he looked around. He completely forgot that he was there with Mitsuki. Giggling softly, he grabbed Mitsuki's hand and pointed to the canopy. "Yeah, it's nice up there. Want to come up with me?" he asked. There was no way the human would make it up with no branches to climb up with. That was when having a vampire for a boyfriend was good. He could jump up high enough to reach the branches. Nova launched up from the ground and barely made it to reach the long branches. They were not really that high, it was just not in the Kalika clan to jump extremely high. It was just about double the jumping height of the human race. Not that much. He was able to grab the branch and pull them both up. With his appearance of such a small body, one would not think him to be strong enough to pull them both up to the branch safely. He grinned at Mitsuki and sighed, pleased with himself. "So, how is it?" he asked.

Mitsuki sighed and nods, he yelps when lefted up to the canopy. He looked around at he view and smiled. "It's nice up here.....so different than what I'm used to in the buildings...." He smiled and hugged Nova very close and smiled a real smile. "This is so nice......I've never thought I see a great view like this."

Nova looked at Mitsuki with a grin. He was happy that Mitsuki was smiling and liked the place he had visited so many times in his past. The human had never been out to the forest. He had never been to the calming and peaceful place Nova had always known. It was the vampire's place to come and relax. Though, he had no been there for a long time. He hugged Mitsuki back and sighed happily. "Never thought you'd get to see something like this, huh? Well, when you're out of school, would you like to travel?" he asked. "I've been to other countries before, but I've always come back to this city. It was my birth-place and the one place I'm comfortable with," he said. "I think I was uncomfortable with everywhere else because I felt like I would be killed or something... Or die from not having any blood. But you've made those fears go away." He shut his eyes and hummed.

Mitsuki smiled and nods, "I would like to travel.....but I want to go to college after high school." He explained as he relaxed in the other's arms. He wanted a good job so he can make enough money and travel like Nova had said. He wonders if vampires have to worry about money like the humans do. That was a question for another day.

"Heh, college. Hey, I'm doing fine without very much schooling, aren't I?" Nova asked. Money was not exactly a big thing for vampires seeing as they did not need to buy food or money for vechicles because most of them perferred walking over driving, especially the ones older than cars themselves. He wondered if there were any vampires from his time who liked driving. Nova himself hated it. He hated what it did to the environment, he hated how lazy people must have been to need to drive one, and he hated the smell. The vampire snickered and leaned close to Mitsuki. "But, if you want to go to college, that's fine with me. I mean, we've got who knows how many years together," he said and smiled. They could go as slow as they wanted. Mitsuki was about eighteen, right? Well, then he would stop aging in another year. He would remain nineteen until he died. Nova looked about seventeen, and he had been that way since he turned seventeen those many, many years ago. So, they really did not have to go right away. He would wait for Mitsuki to get done with what he wanted to finish, and then maybe they would go off. Nova grinned and shut his eyes.

Mitsuki nods and laughed, "I figure you would hate a lot of things that we humans create." He knew that some people just like the old things and old ways in life. He thought on the whole situtation, he would slowly sstop aging right? He touched his skin and thought of how he would look the same until he died. Maybe I can work out? He thought to himself.

Nova shook his head. "Not everything. Okay, a lot of things. Those cars and the buildings that take up so much room," he said. "I remember just having little cabins hidden in the forest. And when you came into a village away from the forest, you were never really away from the forest." He hummed again and again, over and over a song he learned when he was little. It had something to do with the forest and every last creature that lived in it. Happy and calming. He enjoyed everything about the surroundings of the forest, and he loved watching the animals go about their business. Nova looked at Mitsuki with a slight grin as he sat up and eventually stood up on the branch. "So, how long will I have to wait for you to get through college and do whatever it is you want?" he asked. He was just curious. Never going to college and most of high school, Nova did not know very much of the schooling of the time he was in. Too much stuff to be caught up on. He sighed as he picked off a couple of pine needles from the tree and dropped them and watched them go to the ground.

Mitsuki thought for a moment before answering. "Well it depends...." He explained, "You see, I want to try and get my masters....so that would be up to at least eight years or more..." It did seem to be a lot but he would have to breeze through the classes. He might even start as a second year in college so it might be less.

((freakin' college takes too long...))
Nova nearly fell out of the tree when he heard it would take possibly eight years. Luckily for him, however, there was a branch that he was able to hold on to. He balanced himself and looked at the other. "Eight years!?" he exclaimed, making birds fly from their perches scattered throughout the surrounding area. "That's crazy. I couldn't even handle the years I spent in school. What was it? First grade to ninth? That's only nine years of school, and I still hated it," he said and sat down on the branch carefully, not wanting to fall off even though he knew he would land like a cat. He had practice falling. Yes, running over rooftops and through the forest at night over thin branches and falling off multiple times kind of got him balanced like a cat. He chuckled at his thoughts and then sighed. "Well, if that's how long I'll have to wait, then I'll do it!!" he said happily.

Mitsuki smiled, "Don't worry....I'll be starting early as a second year, so it should be at least only eight years and if I include summers then maybe less...." He watched the other nearly fall out but was back together again. He sighed, "Don't do that...nearly gave me a heart attack." He held his chest and smiled, "But don't worry...the years will fly by fast."
((ugh, don't remind me....after this year....bye bye high school TxT))

(( I've got the rest of this year and then next year. I'm scared of the real world... Oh, and change. ;.; ))
"Hey, I couldn't help but nearly fall. Your news made me do that," Nova said, blaming Mitsuki's announcment for an eight year wait. He would survive. As long as he got to leave the city. He grew tired of it after only a short while being there. Though, his father's job depended on the city, so that was why they stayed. Sighing, Nova looked at the other and frowned. "I sure hope the years fly by. I don't want to be stuck here forever," he mumbled and looked at the ground below them. "Okay, I'm getting nervous up here. I almost fell once," he lied. He knew good and well that he would land, but he wanted to make sure Mitsuki was okay.

Mitsuki nods and looked at the other, "You can go down...I'll just climb down..." He reached over to the branches and began to slowly go down the tree. He sighed as he watched the other, he just hoped that he won't take too long at school. He hated being with other people he can't stand.
