Phoenix Knight or something was it?
I need to look at what the other classes are that weren't there before.

Phoenix Knight.
Certainly SOUNDS like the name of a class that would defend others.

I got it wrong. Apparently it's 'Knight of the Blazing Sun'.

I have one of those too. They make wicked tanks. Bit like paladins in WoW

I hated paladins in WoW.
For the longest time I played Horde as a Warrior, and I'd always go toe-to-toe with Paladins. Right up until they made themselves invincible, healed, then watched and laughed as a ******** of Alliance hunters swarmed me.
Near the end I started using skills that could stun them before they'd try to bubble, then finish them off. That pissed them off real nice. 'Fcourse now I'm sure it's been rebalanced to make them even more hilariously overpowered.

I made a warrior for all of the three days that I played WoW and for some reason everybody thought that was a weird idea.

Designated Hero I made a warrior for all of the three days that I played WoW and for some reason everybody thought that was a weird idea. There's nothing wrong with this at all. The first class I seriously played in WoW was a warrior and he was ridiculous. I could solo things it wouldn't even show me the level of (9-11 levels above me at best). The second time I did it I made one even more broken and went around soloing 5-man instances.

It's because warriors tend to take a long time to level so most people find it weird. I still like my old warrior main. Though he's gathering dust in ulduar gear now.

My warrior went 40 levels in instances without doing a single non-instance quest (except ones I needed as prereqs for instance quests). What is this 'leveling' you speak of? Surely it has nothing to do with standing atop the pyramid in Zul'Farrak, cackling like a madman before hitting the 'taunt everything' button.

Ah. I was leveling it as dps, and didn't have much idea how to tank back then. So I quested mostly. Now, make a warrior a tank, put yourself in the dungeon queue, and you'll level in no time.
Haha, I love that bit in ZF.
